I am a huge Newcastle United fan but thanks to the kindness of Lee, who is the disability liaison officer at Ipswich Town, and my closest family and friends and being born in Ipswich, I have a season ticket this season. I used to work at this great club when I was well from 2005-2019 in the kiosks. This is an incredible club, it brings happy tears to my eyes to see them do so well. It is running parallel with how we have been transformed under our new great ownership in Newcastle where in 1 year we have gone from 20th to 4th, we have done amazingly well due to the commitment of our great new owners, Amanda Staveley, Mehrad, The Reuben Brothers, Yasir and PIF. Similarly, with Gamechanger 20 and Mark Ashton. I sincerely hope you go up Ipswich, I really do.

We owe a lot of respect to Mark to where he's brought this club in a small amount of time, the desire to bring us back to our best and the work he does in the community is inspiring. Considering what Ipswich fans have had to endure under the Evans, the feel good factor is back and everything is heading in the right direction.
Ipswich is a special club. Has produced England’s two greatest managers and has a rich history. But it’s also done that as a family club from a small town which is unsurpassed in the history of the game.

So happy to see my beloved club beginning to click back into action again. When everything comes together it’s a really special place and potential is huge. I remember the 81 season so well. We were voted Best team in Europe. No reason why we can’t be a mid table premier league team again one day. Game Changer, Mark Ashton, Mike O’Leary and Kieran McKenna must take huge credit.
After the dark times of bad managers and poor organisation, I'm so happy to see Town heading upwards. Hopefully back in the Championship next year and then beyond. I've met quite a few of the older Town players. Brazil, Butcher, Cooper, Osbourne, Osman. When I was living in the US Brazil played for our NASL team Detroit Express. Got his autograph on a team ball. Alan was a true gent.
I forgot about Mick Lambert He was a lovely bloke. He was at the PSL football school the week I was there.I was there for keeper training. I ended up being picked to be keeper for the younger lads penalty shoot out. It went on for ages as I'd either save both pens or get beaten buy both.
This was the same week I met my hero Paul Cooper. we had a penalty shoot out with him. He saved my pen. When I was between the posts I went the right way and got my hand to it but I wasn't used to that power, so it went off my hand onto the crossbar and in the back of the net.
Great interview and an even better CEO. Transforming this club and maximising its potential. Feels great to be blue!
Ipswich town are a great club who ive had a soft spot for being my local, even being a chelsea fan due my family being from london, i hope we'll see them back in the Premier league again soon. All the best to them 🐎

I'm a Ipswich fan of nearly 50 years ,and admit everything is sexy at the moment.However its what happens on the pitch thst really matters.I still fear us dropping into the play offs and bottling it.Five times we have given away two goal leads and f it up ,we still have a soft underbelly.Hind sight is a wonderful thing ,but not buying a out-and-out striker has cost us dear .

Fuckin superb , not having to much of a dig at our former owner because we know he loved the club , but football has moved on so much and unless you invest properly and the right amount you will drown , our football club has been strangled for the last 12 years through an owner who was out of his depth , who left the club with inept people to run the club with only enough money to just get through every year , Thank you Marcus for selling and trying to help this football club , But now we have Owners who our investing not only in playing staff too make us successful, but in infrastructure, we had a bloody shrub growning out of the SAR roof , a ground that was falling to bits , we now have a chairman a CEO and staff to run the football club , a Manager and staff to coach our players , and a Fanbase who feel we have a football club back , 20 years of shite , we now believe we are in safe hands and this football club is only going one way UPWARDS ....I.T.I.D
