A man of principle would not have made some of the statements he did. No one challenges him on them . For example he posited Christen Eriksen collapsed on the pitch because he had the vaccine. I'm ashamed to admit I've been one of those who had previously put Matt Le Tissier in the "delusional" category, purely for having different views to the main stream around high-profile and sensitive topics. A brilliant talk, in which as per Simon's intro, I've learned something from. If you had told me a year ago, watching a 58 minute video of Simon Jordan and Matt Le Tissier would change my thinking on certain things in life, i'd have laughed myself in to afit. More than happy now to admit where i'm wrong. Brilliant show.
Matt Le Tissier = Legend, I'm from Southampton and have always been a Saints fan, Micky Channon was the man when I went to the Dell , that'll tell you how old I am -ish. Other than his football which was outstanding, having listened to this interview I have the utmost respect for the guy, he stood his ground and didn't cave into the lefty twats, very very glad that he is still himself. excellent interview Simon.
I've never really been interested in football per say, yet I watched this interview because it was about Matt and I wanted to get to know him as a person a little more than I do. I have the utmost respect for Matt as I can relate to him and his views on the subjects that are not about football which I think most people will know exactly what I'm talking about. To me, he comes across as a sensible, warm, kind and caring soul and it's nice to know he's on the side of TRUTH and right and wrong. God bless you Matt. You will always be remembered for being on the right side of history. Wishing you and your family all the very best in the future. I salute you Sir ❤
Le Tissier was ahead of his time. He was an AMC in an era that was quite rigid to 4-4-2. Imagine him at say Man City now!! Great player and a real moral principled gentleman.
Could listen to him all day. Plus, what a player. Growing up in the 90s, loved watching him. He’s a PL legend. Should be in the PL Hall of Fame, but sadly given the world we live in, can’t see it happening soon. His record speaks for itself.
One of the greatest player's in the premier league.. I'm a man utd fan, living in Australia. Not afraid to say, this guy was as good as Cantona.. I hate saying this , massively underrated. No player in the league comes close to him today.. loyal one club champion. U will never see player's create and score there own goals like Matt.
The reason MLT is not in the PL HOF is nothing to do with being "woke "or " the world we live in " it's because he simply as not as good as what some people make him out to be . He was at times capable of scoring some fantastic goals but they were few & far between , put them on a RUclips show reel they look fantastic , put them over his whole career & it looks very different . Decent player with a few great goals is his career in a nutshell
He has to be one of the greatest footballers ever, because he played professionally for a number of years, most never make it. The fact that his name is in this kind of debate proves that he is. Having said that, ranking him is an entirety different matter and subject to ones' own opinion.
Love these chats,,, but if u stop playing Golf, that's all u had in common with your so called pal, and he's not your mate anymore,, very shallow and sad 😢

'98. That was another mad pre World Cup for England. The press at their usual fever pitch, with Hoddle and his staff really adding to the madness. I remember, more, the way Gazza was handled. Hoddle had already thrown Matt under the bus after the Italy qualifier at Wembley and further isolated himself from the average England fan when he gave Gazza enough rope, in the May warm ups Chris Evans and C4 were complicit in the downfall of Gazza, by engineering and encouraging that fateful appearance on Friday night T.V. Brillant interview, and Matt comes across as a nice relaxed guy who stands by his views that is obvious. Great footballer and his skill set was outstanding and dazzling, some of his goals truly sublime, all in all a really likeable man.
Very enjoyable interview. Thank you Simon for having Matt on your show, someone who was an unbelievably talented footballer and a truly decent human being who is a critical thinker and stands up for his beliefs which many people agree with. Being called a conspiracy theorist is a complement nowadays, its simply someone who uses their own brain to question the narrative. Matts a true winner
No it isn't. Watching RUclips videos and listening to people who hold views you already agree with, then spouting off the same nonsense, is the opposite of critical thinking

One of the few brave enough to voice an honest opinion and is a voice of common sense. The slander against him is sickening for asking questions which not many others are asking, and he's been proven correct on many things.
Common sense is not an adequate faculty for determining truth. Common semse has allowed prople to make all sorts of stupid decisions. Eg a woman is weak and deserves to be in the kitchen. Exercise is a prevention against Covid. Etc etc.

I'm a saints fan and the same age, I was lucky enough to se some of Matt's iconic goals in person at the Dell back in the 90s and met him a couple of times
His lack of England appearances will not diminish his status. For me, arguably within the top 10 of all time English players. Great football brain, timing and ability to score. He also has the ability to make rings around Simon Jordan, on or off the pitch!
I'd put all these before him Alan Shearer Wayne Rooney Bobby Charlton Jimmy Greaves Paul Scholes Steven Gerrard Tony Adams Bobby Moore Ashley Cole Paul Gascoigne Michael Owen John Barnes David Beckham Gordon Banks
And what a pleasure to watch. I remember getting cable in my family home in south London and watching MNF back in the early 90s. Matt was someone you really looked forward to watching. Which for me is what the games all about
Le Tiss is a legend, for so many reasons. More than that he’s a great human being with principles he’s prepared to stand up and fight for. Unfortunately, rare qualities these days.
there's definitely mutual respect there. Both of them are "say it as you see it" guys. Also adult enough to LISTEN to each others point of view and come back with equally honest and forthright opinions. They're also adult enough to be able to agree to disagree, even after heated debate, and still treat each other with respect at the end of the sparring match. I'd probably say Matt won that particular match, and he didn't even need to throw any tantrums...the "yeah,I got cancelled.....meh" is a way better approach than throwing your toys out of the pram.
Matt was the ultimate entertainer and provided some of the most astonishing moments I've ever seen in football. Remember the home game against Newcastle in '93, when he scored 'those two goals' ! just as great was the time where he immaculately controlled a long high punt that went sailing over his head near the corner flag - everyone on that side of the ground just gasped in stunned awe. Matt also calls it how it is, and talks a lot of sense - he'd be a perfect fit on the excellent White and Jordan show on Talksport!
Always loved watching the player, but the man is just as impressive….if not more so. Le Tissier was always one of those players that kids wanted to emulate. So utterly gifted that it defies belief. Nobody in this country is in his league for skill presently.

Matt and Simon you are both legends . So relatable to the obvious points here Matt so thank you for being that guy who speaks for many of us when we all felt like we were the mad ones
A lot of brilliant comments so difficult to add too
They could do a regular show ?
I'm ashamed to admit I've been one of those who had previously put Matt Le Tissier in the "delusional" category, purely for having different views to the main stream around high-profile and sensitive topics. A brilliant talk, in which as per Simon's intro, I've learned something from. If you had told me a year ago, watching a 58 minute video of Simon Jordan and Matt Le Tissier would change my thinking on certain things in life, i'd have laughed myself in to afit. More than happy now to admit where i'm wrong. Brilliant show.

Brilliant interview, met Matt a couple of times and hes the most down to earth guy you could meet
Southgate's virtue signalling is next level
I had huge respect for Mat as a player but even more so now as the man he is and what he stands for.
I think this chat between Simon Jordan and Letiss is the most instructive and informative one I have seen this year. Great stuff.
Matt Le Tissier - the definition of a man who has the courage of his convictions. Absolutely 🔥 podcast!
What is a 'podcast'? I'm old & all these terms elude me.
Agree with that Shane, I was always a fan of John McGrath no nonsense center half with the rolled down shorts.
Great interview. Matt is a legend on and off the pitch.
Agree. Imagine him starting his caree now, when most teams play with a 'number 10'.
I LOVE THIS MAN!!! He is a warrior. Those who know, know.
Hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Totally agree !!
Could listen to him all day. Plus, what a player. Growing up in the 90s, loved watching him. He’s a PL legend. Should be in the PL Hall of Fame, but sadly given the world we live in, can’t see it happening soon. His record speaks for itself.
The woke insanity will end and Le Tiss will be honoured,
Mental health problems are on the rise fellas. Get some therapy.
You're projecting. Hope you're okay.
A good man stands by his opinions. Well done matt.
An incredibly brave and intelligent individual. Also, happens to be one of the greatest players ever to play the game.
"greatest that's ever played" steady on, he was good, but not that good
He has to be one of the greatest footballers ever, because he played professionally for a number of years, most never make it.
The fact that his name is in this kind of debate proves that he is. Having said that, ranking him is an entirety different matter and subject to ones' own opinion.
Matthew Le Tissier was an unbelievable player. Some of the goals he scored were unreal. It was an absolute crime he only played 8 times for England.
intelligent...... you think Matt Le Tissier is intelligent?
Love these chats,,, but if u stop playing Golf, that's all u had in common with your so called pal, and he's not your mate anymore,, very shallow and sad 😢
Great interview, Simon is much better in the one on one interview than anyone around. He's also not afraid of the kickback from the scumbags in mainstream media about talking to anyone who doesn't follow the "mainstream narrative." ❤
Looking forward to this a footballing legend & isn't a sheep. Thank you for speaking out against the Kalergi plan & the vaccine Matt 👏
Couldn’t agree more
The kalergi plan is truly shocking
I agree, but your only mistake was calling it a "vaccine" when it's nothing of the sort.
@@thesilverbulletriflecompan4317 could you be the sheep for "potentially" following some other view ?
@@sambaprince what, so if someone thinks/says something, and another person just happens to agree with the sentiment, then that makes them a sheep?
Sheep, to me, are the people who stood outside banging their pots and pans, or bending the knee or blindly accepting to be jabbed with shit bc they were told to do it.
I'd bet money on the fact that Chris PT has done neither. What about you?
Didn't think i could respect him anymore, life long saints fan and even more on his morals 💪🏆
No point in putting a trophy at the end. Matt couldn't win one 😂
Arsenal fan born and bread, I will admit that Matt was one of the most gifted and talented players I ever saw live in the good old days at highbury.
Great chat Simon
Love Matt and all he stands for. I got to meet him once in Manchester. I wondered what I could say to him. I just said "Thank you Matt, thank you for being YOU." 😊
Le Tissier will be remembered as one of the most talented players England has ever produced. His opinions are his own and will die with him. His goals, loyalty and finesse will never be forgotten. From a neutral.
they aint his own though..excess death rate says it all and that aint an opinion

He was okay. He could produce fantastic moments on the pitch but was inconsistent & never challenged himself & that was reflected in his England appearances.
I'm definitely one of those people mentioned who are full of admiration for Matt and how he speaks up for what he believes is real, regardless of potential consequences in the cancel culture. Well done Matt Le Tissier
One of the best podcasts I've listened to. Matt was fantastic, could of listened to you both for hours.
A great footballer and an example of how to live a fulfilling life by always being his own man.
Thank you so much Matt for everything you’ve done over the past 3 years 🙏 I’ve been with you all the way ❤️
A very honorable man Matt Stood up to his views Very Rare
Great show. Need more like this. Real, genuine people.
Are you talking about the Le Tissier interview? REAL PEOPLE???? 😂😂😂😂
Matt not only is a man of integrity but a beautiful soul. We are so lucky to have him.
I remember his performance in that England B game before the World Cup and thinking 'he's definitely in the squad now'. More fool me. One of the most gifted and entertaining players ever.
'98. That was another mad pre World Cup for England.
The press at their usual fever pitch, with Hoddle and his staff really adding to the madness. I remember, more, the way Gazza was handled.
Hoddle had already thrown Matt under the bus after the Italy qualifier at Wembley and further isolated himself from the average England fan when he gave Gazza enough rope, in the May warm ups
Chris Evans and C4 were complicit in the downfall of Gazza, by engineering and encouraging that fateful appearance on Friday night T.V.
Yeh, fans never forget. It's enough to make............🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵
Didn’t he score a hat trick or something? And didn’t get picked
@@mikehunt8823He did and should have been picked.
An amazing player. A man of integrity in life too. Stood up for what he believed in regardless of the consequences. Respect 🙏 on both fronts.

What an unbelievable footballer he was
brilliant interview.
was fortunate to
meet matt briefly at cheltenham a few years ago. top bloke!
A man of morals, principles and integrity.
when these thing’s that are being imposed upon us become so obvious that no one can deny there is something sinister behind them. we will need someone we respect.

the retrospective review. it will be very interesting
Well, that was bloody brilliant. Two men who stand by their views and speak with total integrity. A hugely enjoyable watch. However....is there going to be a Part II ?
@@EllenWst looks like we got ourselves a bedwetter 😂
A wonderfully graceful, clunky looking footballer who always made the game look easy. A beautiful attitude to life too. As a Leeds fan, thank you for the memories Matt. Best of luck to you sir.
"I neglected my wife and a daughter for a bit". His words.....what a man he is.
@@harrys1505 I see you have posted this already below. Its clear and obvious that what he meant was that during lockdown he got into a spiral with the politics and cultural issues and probably should have focused more on everyday life? Many of us had a similar experience, lockdown was a weird time for everyone. Its also clear that the word ' neglect ' can be twisted by people like yourself? I dont share all of his views but agree with many of them and his general, grown up attitude to how humans should interact and behave with each other is admirable and all too rare. People who are prepared to sacrifice something for their principles should always be respected

@Breath of Fresh Air Well he was unorthadox and 'clunky' wasn't he? Much to his opponents regret. Are you really going to pick me up on a word when I'm merely complimenting a man who I thought was a beautiful footballer when I was younger? Really mate?
Forget the football side, Tiss is just awake and speaks the truth, it’s quite simple. People should try it 👍
Still think his goal against my team newcastle was the best I've ever witnessed.
Loved his style of play.
Very, very enjoyable discussion involving two of my favourite sports people. Honest, forthright and entertaining, well done Simon & Matt.
This podcast is going from strength to strength....it really is top quality.
I thought Matt was a footballing legend… never did I think what he stands for post football would increase my admiration for him 10 fold!
Keep speaking for us Le Tissier!
For who? Racists and conspiracy nuts?
One of the few brave enough to voice an honest opinion and is a voice of common sense. The slander against him is sickening for asking questions which not many others are asking, and he's been proven correct on many things.
Common sense is not an adequate faculty for determining truth. Common semse has allowed prople to make all sorts of stupid decisions. Eg a woman is weak and deserves to be in the kitchen. Exercise is a prevention against Covid. Etc etc.
Ditto to the above comment...
oh come on, he chats some shit in places and definitely gets on his twitter train too many times.

Gutted that it ended. 😢 Really enjoyed that! Thanks lads!
A man of principle and integrity not to mention an incredible footballer, puts these MOTD muppets to shame.
His lack of England appearances will not diminish his status. For me, arguably within the top 10 of all time English players. Great football brain, timing and ability to score. He also has the ability to make rings around Simon Jordan, on or off the pitch!
He postive attributes weren't of a level where his negative ones could be ignored for England given the pool of players to choose from
I agree with the 1st part, but he's not in the top 10 England players of all time 😂
I'd put all these before him
Alan Shearer
Wayne Rooney
Bobby Charlton
Jimmy Greaves
Paul Scholes
Steven Gerrard
Tony Adams
Bobby Moore
Ashley Cole
Paul Gascoigne
Michael Owen
John Barnes
David Beckham
Gordon Banks
@@richardlittlejohn8184 Yes absolutely laughable opinion for him in top 10. Not even top 100
And what a pleasure to watch. I remember getting cable in my family home in south London and watching MNF back in the early 90s. Matt was someone you really looked forward to watching. Which for me is what the games all about
WIthout doubt the most underrated british footballer of all time. And to top it off, a great man who says it how it is!
Wouldn't happen with 'talkshite' - they're Sky/Comcast owned.
Tiss's goals show reel easily as good as Messi or Ronaldo's.... underrated as hell.
Speaks sense on most things too... great guy.
Always loved watching the player, but the man is just as impressive….if not more so. Le Tissier was always one of those players that kids wanted to emulate. So utterly gifted that it defies belief. Nobody in this country is in his league for skill presently.
Love me some Le Tissier. Still got a soft spot for Southampton because of those screamers he scored!
I'd have loved him at liverpool. And for the life of me i cannot understand why he didn't go to the world cup in 98 after Gazza was dropped.
What a brilliant podcast. Neither of them afraid of raising their views or listening to those views. Keep doing what your doing Matt, brilliant..
