Not only a wonderful interview and insight but also I want to say how good the interviewer was. He was so genuinely interested and gave Kieran all the time he wanted to answer the questions. He didn't just sit and nod like many do, neither didn't he hurry to get to the next question. Two very intelligent men having a relaxed, in depth and fascinating chat. Kieran is so humble but at the same time so assured and confident. His self belief gives us all belief in the future of our club.

Excellent interview. Kieran exudes a quiet confidence - he is measured and modest in what he says, but you can just tell that he knows he is going right to the top in the game. I just hope that ITFC can provide him with the support and success to match his ambition, enough for him to stay here for many years. That would mean getting back to the sort of success we had under Sir Bob. COYBs.

Us, Ipswich, Plymouth, Derby and others have all got some good up and coming managers, think this is what is making the top of League One super competitive this year! Think Ipswich are on a roll with 6 games to go, they're now the most likely to get promoted, a lot down to McKenna's work...shrewd signings in January, even managed to keep Luongo fit!

Im so pleased for the supporters of the Tractor Boys. After years (possibly decades of being in the doldrum), they finally have a side to be proud of and a manager that represents them. The two east Anglia derbies would be fun to watch this year...and with some investement in Jan, Town supporters may well be reach the promiseland. Lastly, I am particularly pleased for McKenna as him and others in Ole's coaching staff were widely ridiculed in spite of him( Kieran ) being highly regarded by United's first team.

If he decides to take the job, I just hope that he insists of being his own man and not just a yes man, because we've suffered enough already with managers finding out that they were nothing more than a trainer who picks a team.

Considering that their jobs depend on recruiting the right players I am surprised more coaches don't insist on having the final say in transfers but that isn't how it works these days for the most part.

I think he's right. We all have our different opinions when it comes to Ole.
1- 90% of the fan base wanted Jose out at the time(maybe you were one of them)
2- The plan never was for Ole to be the manager, he was supposed to come in as caretaker till the end of the season and move back to Molde. So he came in to help the club. Because of his good start as caretaker, 70% of the fans wanted him to get the manager job (again, you might have one of them, idk) which was not a bad thing at the time. The club needed some stability at the time.
3- None of us knew exactly what these guys had to deal with while they were in those positions. Jose only spoke out after he left, Ole will never say everything because he love this club too much, he'll take most of the blame.
4- Not Jose, Not Ole got the players they wanted. If they did, it was 1 or 2 out of 10.
5- Moyes, LVG, Jose and Ole were restricted in every way possible to do anything because the club was ruled by dictatorship in Ed Woodward. Everybody knows this.
6- I think Jose is a good coach, LVG is good coach. I also think Ole is good coach. The only difference amongst all of them, Ole didn't come there with a good pedigree, he never managed a big club before Man United. Nobody knew much of the coaching he's done before his appointment as Manager of Man United.
But as I said, we all have our own opinion.
