Vegeta, Krillin, and Piccolo's actors are the same as dragon ball z, Sean isn't the only that had been returning. Chris put more emotion into his voice with Vegeta and Piccolo anyway.

Plus there's the fact that there's going to be a new movie in 2015 along with the game Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Therefore it's safe to say that Schemmel and company are going to have work for awhile.

The strokes are made automatic now, the frames are also easier to make, the old DBZ actually had drawings per second, and the outlines were made by artists, they were paid for it, even more than you think. Toei just doesn't deem it necessary to remake it, I mean, come on..I would wish Dragon Ball Super would take the old DBZ drawing style than the opening's one, for one reason, it feels more alive.

I don't see how Akira likes Piccolo when he made him useless in the buu saga, why didn't he made him more relevant and powerful? I understand the staff members wanted Vegeta and that's good and all but he had enough time to make Piccolo even more powerful than he is right now.
So what he couldn't give him some kind of power up during the time skip, I mean it has been like what 10 years or so and he hasn't even become all that powerful. He literally stays at the look out where the TIME CHAMBER is, he couldn't at least have like some kind of new skills or transformation before he became a full time baby sitter lol. And it's still hard for me to tell if he really liked Piccolo since Vegeta has shown more skills and a higher power level, heck he still holds the only person to defeat Goku
Piccolo was not irrelevant, in fact here's pretty much every relevant thing he does in the Buu Saga: He suspects Shin of being a Kai and finds out he's the Supreme Kai Attacks Babidi and slices him in half Explains to Vegeta why he won't go to Heaven when he dies Trains Goten and Trunks to master the fusion technique Distracts Buu and buys more time for the kids to train in the Time Chamber Destroys the entrance to the Time Chamber in the hopes of trapping Buu And lastly, another thing that makes Piccolo relevant to this saga is that Buu gains intellect when he absorbs him. And to answer your question on why Piccolo didn't use the time chamber during the 7 year gap. Its because the Time Chamber can only be used twice in a lifetime.
Well when it concerns dubbing anime into English it takes a long time to do it. They have to write the scripts for the show and do the casting just in case there's a character in the anime that the voice actor or actress is no longer in the area where they do the dub in this case Dallas Texas they have to find a new voice actor or actress for the rule which takes time. On top of that they have to record the episodes and after that edit it including the credits from Japanese to English so people who might want to read who does the anime (Like me I like to read who does the anime series I watch). So after everything is done they have to send the masters to a place where they will make the DVDS or Blu Rays. It takes about a year or so to do so my guess is that we won't be seeing a English Dub of it until sometime later this year at the earliest or next year.

And lastly, another thing that makes Piccolo relevant to this saga is that Buu gains intellect when he absorbs him.
And to answer your question on why Piccolo didn't use the time chamber during the 7 year gap. Its because the Time Chamber can only be used twice in a lifetime.

FumeiCom I just figured out that Kai just ended in june so Funimation actually has an excuse.
Well when it concerns dubbing anime into English it takes a long time to do it. They have to write the scripts for the show and do the casting just in case there's a character in the anime that the voice actor or actress is no longer in the area where they do the dub in this case Dallas Texas they have to find a new voice actor or actress for the rule which takes time. On top of that they have to record the episodes and after that edit it including the credits from Japanese to English so people who might want to read who does the anime (Like me I like to read who does the anime series I watch). So after everything is done they have to send the masters to a place where they will make the DVDS or Blu Rays. It takes about a year or so to do so my guess is that we won't be seeing a English Dub of it until sometime later this year at the earliest or next year.
This opening has the same melody as the intro to Budokai 3, if anybody didn’t know
