Lost my Mom December 18, 2011. Four days before my birthday. Watching her take her last breath broke me. She never taught me to live without her. There is no healing from grief. We live our days with a hole inside us. This song and your reaction reminds me I'm not alone. We've got to remind ourselves that we will see our Mommas again.

I’m still fortunate enough to have my mom and aunts and one Grandma still here, but like most of us my mom was the only person in my entire family to be admitted into the hospital during peak COVID and after the first week I remember my Pops breaking down in front of me telling me to prepare for the worst. Thankfully she turned around and had a full recovery. Brother, I have no idea what you must feel and what it is to lose the first woman you’ve ever loved, but your rawness and strength is felt and loved by all of your viewers.

Wow this song and your loss hit me so hard my mom and dad left me at 7 with my baby sister with my grandparents they were my mother and father I lost her 2 years ago then 8 months later my little sister passed very quickly from cancer at 39 and crying like a baby with my son by my side waiting for my wife to show up at church and she didn't (I grew up on Martha's vineyard island a fisherman's family) figured she missed boat and told my son don't worry she will be here for the burial or celebration of life.i got call at graveyard my wife passed in her car in driveway (was a brain hemorrhage found out) and had to tell my son at graveyard his mom wasn't going to make it to celebration of life she passed this song brought me back to that moment.life is not fair but all I know is love the ones you are with every day because you never know when there are no more days on this earth with them but they are with us here and waiting for us in heaven when god asks us to join them.hang in there bro we are all in this together.my god keep your mom happy and you will see her when he is ready because I know how disappointed they would be if I tried to show up early same with you

I lost my mom a little over 2 years ago and she was my biggest supporter, always had my back no matter the situation, and she was my best friend. On 11/16/22 my mom went to bed and never woke up, 64yrs old. On 11/3/22 my mom sent me a text and wanted me to hear a song called “Bye Mom” by Chris Janson, 13 days later she was gone! Can you break that song down buddy? If you haven’t already but it’s sad. Thanks again and you gained a new subscriber. 🤟🏻

Ohh man I am so sorry to hear that. I couldnt imaging losing my mom at such a young age. I am only 37 but that is still a lot more years I got to spend with her. 12/30/21 man day i lost moms
Last time i saw her was christmas day and i wasnt in the best of moods i brought the kids there to see her but we couldnt stay long wish i wouldnt have left then a week later she was in the hospital for the 10,000th time but this time was different they took her oxygen mask off that was keeping her alive and i held her hand crying like a baby she flat lined like 5 min later she was not there in her mind she couldnt talk or anyrhing but she moved her head to look at me she looked scared then that was it this song breaks me everytime i hear it😢
Nobody can relate to this song as much as someone who has lost their mom. My mom’s been gone almost 3 years now. The hardest parts are trying to talk to my kids when they talk about her. They were too young to lose their MawMaw. And now we’re expecting another one in August, a little girl. She’s going to have my mom’s middle name. And I’ll be a wreck because she won’t be there for this one. Don’t know you and you have no idea who I am, but I love ya bro.

This is a great reaction to this song. I am sorry about your loss and struggling with it all. I lost my grandfather two years ago and he was my father figure. I was actually living in NY when I got the call he didn’t make it from leukemia and a heart operation . I remember being so hard on myself for not being at the hospital. I remember that day like the back of my hand and struggled to let it go. Thanks to this song, I was able to move forward a bit. Just know you have a ton of people supporting you and you are loved! ❤❤

I lost my dad when I was 13 to brain cancer. I’m 16 now and seeing this broke my heart. Im sobbing right now because I know how hard it is to lose somebody who made you the person you are today. He meant the world to me and I can tell that your mother meant the world to you also. Zach Bryans songs have really helped me cope with everything and I just found out about your channel today and seeing you react to him definitely made my day a lot better! @fischtank I have a different interpretation of “I threw up on a corner in philidalphia” obviously open to interpretation. I picture it has he started drinking heavy after she passed and everyone’s looking at him as a hopeless case even though they don’t understand the circumstances he’s going through except “those assholes downtown” ie the other drunks at the bar are the only ones willing to listen to his story because they too are fighting similar demons
