On the lyric:

Just another great song form these extremely talented girls, I still get chills watching it, from the haunting riffs to the stunning visuals. As for what you have reacted to, 9 by my count, so I recommend 21st Century Blood their 1st official music video and I still say their cover of "The Foo Fighters - The Pretender" should be an official one as well. Then Hysteria by Muse at their school LICEO then their 2 Ted Talks (Tedx). The list goes on, ha ha your plates going to full with these girls, do what I did make a list and check them off as you go.
I did have a list haha, as I took such a long break I seem to have misplaced it. But I'll catch up. Theres a few there I'm definitely lookinh forward to

A suggestion would be to listen to it again on your own (headphones a must) and focus your listening attention on the bass line. It gets a little hard to find in a few places, but it’s extraordinary.

Great reaction/review! This is the 1st single off of their yet to be released 3rd full-length LP. From the drummer Paulina: "Choke is about being so overwhelmed by your feelings that you start to drown on them and choke on them and we really wanted the song to reflect that hopelessness you sometimes feel and just offer it to everyone as a safe place to feel those feelings and just like a place of comfort for them". The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers who are truely grateful and endearing to all of their fans. Each one of their original songs is an absolute banger. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and psychosis and eventually suicide. It's a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood" is also very good and is packed with great songs. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 5, 5 and 3 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, humble, intelligent and fun-loving young ladies. I am going to both of their shows at The Troubadour in Hollywood, California, January 20th and 22nd, 2022.

cool reaction mate. glad you got back to the girls and its suiting this is one of your first vids ;-) others have mentioned their other 2 videos to watch. but yes opening for Foo Fighters in November and also on same stage as Metallica in Daytona at Welcome to Rockville 2021. Also performing with Alessia Cara singing Enter Sandman on Metallica's remake of the Black album. So with the world slowly getting back to some normalcy they can hopefully decide when to start their first world tour sometime in 2022. BUT their next single is out on july 23 so that will be awesome as was Choke. many other reactors have found interesting ways to work around the copyright on the new songs that are now under Lava/Republic. anywyas glad you were able to get it out and llok forward to any others you have coming up.

@@firstact5704 That actually kind of rotates, depending on the day... today it's Shattered Heart, yesterday it was Take Me Down. Sometimes it's Ugh. They really haven't written a bad song.

@@firstact5704 Unfortunately I can't do links. It you are interested though they are called Tuatha Dea and their best song imo is THE LONG BLACK CURL. They fuse Celtic, rock, and folk music in very interesting ways. The nucleus of the group is a pair of brothers and a pair of sisters with one of the brothers being married to one of the sisters. The other members have changed throughout the years but those four remain.
