I have the Pixel 9 Pro XL and I couldn't be happier. It's 100% a Premium phone now, Premium Feel and aesthetics! Google was trying to be everything to everyone, Everyone complained because past versions didn't have this or didn't have that but they also wanted it to cost less than other phones. They wanted Google to do the impossible, a Premium Flagship phone at a cheap price. I feel like Google finally decided, that we are just going to make and sell a Premium phone at a premium price, and everyone can just deal! I'm so glad they did because this is a home run in my book! I loved my Pixel 8 Pro, but this is better! I hope this pays off for Google!

I'm really liking that light pink color on the 9 Pro. I'd normally never buy a phone that was remotely Pink but this Rose Quartz color is subdued enough that it's not screaming Pink like the base 9 in Peony.
Still loving my p8p but waiting to see what the p10p going to do. We need a pixel 3 watch review though my man. I think we have reviewed enough phones for the month lol. PW3 45 mm is here and its amazing, especially the battery life.
Don't forget that with the 9 Pro phones at least, 3GB is allocated to local Gemini tasks so in reality it is just a bit over 12GB of usable memory, actually less since the system functions use upwards of 2GB with the phone just sitting idle.
This is the phone I really wanted as I retired my loyalty too midrange Motorola phones, so I obtained the s24+ with 512 gigs and will keep it until the PIXEL 14 pro is released as well as I prefer their functionality...
Google did a great job this year. They're Pixel phones are getting better each year, it seems. I also see a lot of iPhone users making the switch. Pixel 9 Pro XL is an awesome device and very snappy. ❤
Its wild how much you struggle taking it out of the box. Mad Verizion doesn't have the Hazel color option. Going to get Obsidian most likely to match the watch and headphones

This is one of the first phones that feel so nice in the hand, that I really hate using a case on it. I hope you enjoy yours once you end up getting it
I had the pixel 8 in Rose. I did not have any issues with it. I traded it in for the Pixel 9 in peony! I the only reason I traded in my 8 is because I fell in love with the peony color!

I had the pixel 9 in obsidian 256gb and sent it back. It wasn’t a big enough phone or small enough phone for me. I’ve had max size phones since note 8, 10+, xs max, 12pm, s21 ultra, p7p, 14pm, s22u, s24u. Even my fold 4 is beginning to be to small on the outside display, which I thought I’d never say. Not small enough because it’s than the 13 mini and iPhone X. I miss my 13 mini.

I went from the pixel 5 to the 9 pro XL and honestly the upgrade is amazing. I loved my pixel 5 and it's form factor but this is a beast of a phone. I wish I got the smaller one but I had to go with the XL

I think allot of people are going to sleep on the base Pixel 9, thinking they need the Pro. I have had the base Pixel 9 since launch and given I had the Pixel 8 Pro before I don't feel like I am missing out. Even though I like the Winter green the only regret I have is not going for the peony.
The pixels are good enough I think they just have to get better silicon and probably better modems in who's their phones especially the pro phones 📱 and they need to upgrade the speed of the ram the storage speed they can use that next chip to build up with the new hardware. They're still looking as powerful enough to copy some of those features and they can put a better speakers and microphones in their phones.
From what I've seen they really fixed the modem this year. Like to the t, all the connection problems and heating that comes from it, gone. Tensor G4 ain't fighting the elites anytime soon, but the performance is enough. I might cop this next year when the price drops, it would be a nice upgrade from my P7.
@@vaultboy1419 yeah you got some good points and the modems problem is fixed but compared to Apple and Samsung Google still has some work to do because I watch the video where they was testing the modem speeds and the iPhone and ultra phone was doing better and plus they went out of a country to an island and the pixel kept dropping to three bars where the iPhone and the Galaxy were more consistent with connectivity I think the pixel 10 will be the best pixel phone because it's going to be there 10th anniversary and they're supposed to be switching to a tsmc so they can build up from that new hardware architecture from that new chips it reminds me of the PS4 how they were limited with that hardware in a switch to a new AMD architecture with more RAM
On pixel 6 XL I need to reboot quite often just to get some apps to work like PDF or Excel etc. Will this happen with the pixel 9 pro? Thinking it was Google's chip that just don't work.
I haven’t received the 9 Pro XL yet, did a trade in through T-Mobile and shipping date is between 9/19 - 10/3, pretty disappointing, I placed the order on 9/3…
They take like 2 weeks, i ordered mine on the 19th and I got it on September 4 if I'm not mistaken and I and I shipped back the trading phone and they already got it. Hopefully the trade in goes smooth.

Google is the only phone brand to me that is really advancing when comes to their design and features. Samsung is good too but they keep releasing the same phone design every year

The camera is no better at all same as 8 pro. Sound quality is mediocre. Apps like phone and voicemail need some work to do. I I'll tell people not to upgrade
I like my Pixel 8 Pro, the modem can be an issue, and it does tend to get very warm at times. I think I'll wait or the Pixel 10 next year, but I said that last year when I had my 7 Pro. When they dropped the price in January, I bought the 8 Pro lol. Great video and thank you for always keeping us informed, btw the Apple fan boys are just clueless sheep. They'll believe anything Apple (The Pied Piper) tells them, instead of doing research like everyone else does.

I will admit 1 + in Google are the only phone companies that's giving us a good amount of RAM in mainly the pro phones.

I got my Pixel 9 pre order via Google Fi for 549 with double storage. The phone is a big improvement from the pixel 6a and the pixel 8.
How long have you had the 9? Tested most things out with it? I have a Pixel 6 standard. I'm still thinking about a PIxel 9 pro.
