Not a single stutter in two goddamn weeks. "bUt tHe g4 iS sO SlOoW!!" Is it? I didn't notice. Coming from a decade of only owning Samsung flagships, the XL still feels smooth as butter. @@AdenAlexander-t7x I'm really liking it so far. The UI is a tad more simplistic or minimalist than I've been used to from other watches, but it still feels nice and premium. Probably not two full days if you keep it connected to your phone, but it charges fast, so no biggie. I usually just top it off while I'm in the shower or something.
Just got my Pro XL after a 3 week wait. Came from a S22ultra...the difference is astonishing. First impressions: screen, sound (especially!) and haptics are leaps and bounds beyond the s22ultra. Got the Pixel for 300 bucks as well. Impressed so far!
Watched this on my Google pixel 9 pro xl and honestly i love this phone! I just switched from apple and i dont miss it at all. The new features from this phone is awesome
I truly love the 9 Pro XL after switching from the Pixel 6 Pro. My experience with the 6 Pro was not a bad one considering I got it after Google fixed a lot of the initial issues. The cameras on the 9 Pro XL are amazing to say the least.
Love my 9pro XL. To their credit they have addressed alot of issues and I'm happy. Camera zoom does need to be fixed and for the sake of criticism, I'm looking fwd to the new chipset they are set to introduce for the 10 series.
Loving my pixel 9 pro XL, so far it's been a great phone. I traded in my S24 Ultra and have zero regrets. I'm a phone nerd, I also have the Vivo X100 Ultra which aside from the curved screen might be my favorite camera phone ever. Has anyone tried the Xperia MKVi? Hey Mark, thanks for the video. I always love watching you. You’re just a regular Joe doing more than regular work. But I’m posting this here maybe someone else besides me is having the same issue but my pixel nine Pro XL never makes it to the end of the day. And I’m not using it anymore than I’ve used any of my other phones, so I’m wondering, could it just be me or if there’s anyone else there in your audience That is having the same problem? Hearing you say your battery life is exceptional. Kind of hurts me in the feels lol
I think we're all starting to learn that there are different chip sets for different tasks, like AI tasks, and sheer power and bench marks are not an indication of sophisticated software, and today how the software works is more important than ever as we move into the age of AI. The Tensor G4 chip in my Pixel 9 Pro XL works brilliantly, it does everything flawlessly, and more than fast enough, and the camera is excellent. More than happy with my purchase!
I change my phones every six months (for fun, I have unlimited upgrades on spectrum) and for a long time phones became boring. This is by far the most fun I have had using a phone in a long time. I thought I'd make a mistake coming from the S24 Ultra but I'm so glad I did.
Would you consider getting the regular 9 pro instead of the XL considering the battery life is already so good on the XL I imagine it's not half bad on the smaller version? My biggest issue is the slower charging speeds but I was almost wondering if it's really not that big of a difference since the battery is smaller anyways.
@@krskadave I'm also thinking about trading my iPhone 15 Pro for the Pixel 9 Pro. What's your first impression and comparison? Do you think you could move away from iOS? 😅
No I'm waiting till i see the s25 lineup Im sure Samsung will have almost the same phone but with a better chipset and features like -smart view (Google cast only works if you have Chromecast) -Samsung dex -more customization -better ecosystem -better design... Maybe not sure (i like the pixel 9 design so much) -longer OS support And also great review like always ✨👍🏻😁 Can't wait for a comparison vid with the iPhone 16
Used P8P and was impressed with the Pixel Experience (First Pixel phone). Saw the sexy P9PXL and decided to upgrade, and no regrets. Almost everything is great with this phone especially heat management, fluidity of the animations, haptic and battery life. It's a great feat to solve all the downsides of an Exynos variant chip. Gemini became better as well not compromising so much from Google Assistant but it's still working in progress. There are some minor bugs with wired android auto which was recognize by the Android Auto team and they are fixing it. Video zooming is not that great unless video boost is turned on. But other than that, everything seems great. And the upcoming A15 is coming, which will be more efficient and snappier. This phone is just gonna get better.🎉🎉
Agreed that it's Google's best effort thus far. HOWEVER there's a few things that I still cannot stomach. The phone is overpriced considering it has midrange specs. UFS 3.2 USB port Bluetooth 5.3 UFS 3.1 RAM and still slow 37w charging. You can buy a OnePlus 12 for much cheaper and subjectively get a better specced phone. Google needs to drop the price by a few hundred just to compete.
Having to pay $239 US every year to be able to use Gemini AI for a phone that uses AI is not a great thing. Sure they give you one year free, but after that they have you. Also Google Canada rips us off by charging way more than other countries and on a trade in we were offered $300 less than a US customer. I have the 7 pro but just can't justify the $1750 + 13% tax to get it.
Traded in my 15 Pro Max for the 9 Pro XL and I am loving it so far! A breath of fresh air! There are a few challenges, but I'm almost certain software updates will fix most issues.
A Good Video, again. Well i am planning to switch for almost 9 Years back to Android. If i do,, which Phone can be better for the long run? (considered 4 Years or more) My Choice where a 9 Pro or a S24u. You can get a Pro and Contra List between this devices, but that doesn't help. The Samsung has kinda all features plus a much better Chip, but it is like a Tablet. The Pixel has less Options to Customize and a Chip that can be weak in 2 Years.
It's a good phone if the price is much cheaper than other flagship powerhouse phones out there ex: s24U, as pixel is not. For instance, one can't just say that pixel 9 pro is great but it can't handle super demanding games like the S24 ultra, and tensor G4 is ok in day to day basis where in there is a superb snapdragon that can handle everything without limit, and the price of the two phones are just similar. So, why buy the pixel with it's expensive price tag if you can get more from other phones with similar price.
I definitely agree with you all thee above. I just want Google to give us more customization... change icons, lock screen , home screen. Samsung has Good lock..... Google should come out with something better. I really enjoy my Pixel 9 pro XL 512gb. Please Google 🙏🏾
Am I the only one who is unimpressed by the photos? They look too flat with too much HDR and too oversharpened... (not mentioning the famous "Pixel Portrait Failure" which has not been solved for years). I miss some way of customizing the picture processing, such as doing less sharpening. Also I can do some adjustments such as darker shadows but it does not remember my settings when I open the app next time. This sucks. :( And overall, I want less AI in my life...
Couldn't agree more on camera testing. It's really laughable seeing these so-called tech gurus testing and comparing cameras on an high end phone literally in 2024. It's exactly there where they allocate most their videos time and I just find myself skipping and skipping
Maybe the good time begins with the Pixel9PXL and the upcoming Pixel10 series would be more interesting with a TSMC made Tensor5 chipset. 🤞 Another point: The AI things on pixels is unmatched!
They do a lot right, but they do little simple things wrong that shouldnt be an issue for the price we are paying for this xl man... Ugh i wanted it to be the one but just cant let some it slide. Like CUTTING OFF THE CORNERS ON MY NETFLIX VIDEOS AND THE GAMES THAT I PLAY, AND PUSHING SOME OFF SCREEN MAN... Shii is weird and no excuses for paying almost 2 grand....
Tell me one thing, currently I am using Google one (free for 6 months trial) on one Gmail account where all my data lies. Now if I buy 9 series phone, would I get Google one AI premium plan for a year with the same Gmail or not, overlapping my 6 months trial (not AI btw, only 2TB plan)? I am using p8p right now.
you say if i dont buy it then im weird but 2 things, im in NZ i cannot go to a store to buy pixel phones, having a warranty in this country means something to me.. also i have an s24 ultra, i see no reason to move to a pixel when im paying off the ultra, if that makes me weird then ill rock that. but fr, google dont even sell us nz customers their phones.. we aint good enough to get them here LOL
I've had mine since launch, and I'm struggling to get decent battery life. I use nova launcher, so I don't know whether that's a factor. Overall, I'm happy with it, but I do have to charge it at 8pm most days.
3rd party launchers are a huge battery drain. They’ll never be as optimized as the launcher that comes with the phone. It’s a slight trade off for more added customization, unfortunately
if you want a customizable launcher that is still pixel UI get Lawnchair 2.0. allows you to customize icons and do all the things, yes even remove the google bar.
I am super pissed at Apple due this ios 18.1 bs they are pulling in Europe :S I feel like a second hand customer after dropping 1.5k euros on their 16 pro max. Now im not really needing this Ai services so much, but the point is their audacity in advertising and marketing the hell out of this stuff just to say it will come for me like a year after US market. I dont like how i feel about the phone now .. and wondering how much quality i would actually lose to sell it and just get a pixel for the sake of not having an iphone anymore!? I just wonder whats the call quality, microphones during calls, sound in general , reception, sound quality while watching youtube compared to iphone and real life battery usage on standby or youtube videos streaming.
alot of ppl are not talking that almost 80% of the features that come with the pixel phone in Europe are non existant !! such as screen call the photo studio app etc.. wich is a total BS , this is why i pre-ordered the iphone 16 pro max , atleast if a feature gets rolled out it rolls to all the phones that are supported .
I could tell already watching the video that you were filming on the pixel, video still isn't great. But overall they had the best launch with their watch and phone
Frankly, I have no idea why I'd pay $1,100 for a phone that offers a hi mid-tier processor? Especially, since the Samsung Galaxy s24 plus and the OnePlus 12 cost much less. Furthermore, both devices offer the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 generation 3. In addition, they both have far better specifications. For example, the OnePlus 12's battery and charging technology is far more advanced than the pixel. Not to be snarky but, the pixel lineup makes me want to check my birth certificate just to make sure that I wasn't born yesterday.

Fajna recenzja o super telefonie PIXEL 9Pro XL! Telefon jest świetny dla normalnych ludzi a nie dla maniaków gier lub chorych poszukiwaczy cyferek...
I have s24 ultra and Google 9 XL both great phones
Would you guys recommend switching from iPhone 13 Pro Max for 9 Pro XL? I would like to switch to Android
#TeamPixel
Good job, Mark!
This sucks. :(
And overall, I want less AI in my life...
I want to get the pixel 9 XL for making content on youtube 😊 😊😊
😍😍🖤🖤 will trade with my sister the Pixel 8 pro and will buy the 9xl 😍 In love
Looking forward to see what they do with the G5 soc
Yeah that choppiness when zooming during video recording is really irritating
You mentioned the phone doesn’t overheat but what about screen dimming? My iPhone dims a lot and that’s irritating when using outdoors in the summer!
I haven’t noticed my pixel dimming all that much, if at all. It stays fairly bright even outside in the harsh sunlight
@@MarksTech That’s awesome! I’ll have to get a pixel and test it out. Been missing the pixel experience
The video is crispy as hell....
Is it a good crispy? Or left-in-the-fridge-for-too-long crispy? 🤔
@@MarksTech very good crispy. 💪
@@jclif77 hahahah thank you!
iPhone dropped the ball this year and pixel is phone of the year imo
Definitely isn’t phone of the year
Not even close
24 ultra then the one plus 12
Couldn't agree more on camera testing. It's really laughable seeing these so-called tech gurus testing and comparing cameras on an high end phone literally in 2024. It's exactly there where they allocate most their videos time and I just find myself skipping and skipping
If you had to choose for the next 4 years Pixel 9 or Xiaomi 14?
Pixel 9!
I want to see the reviews of Pixel 9 and any iPhone. It will be entertaining 😂😂😂😂
Maybe the good time begins with the Pixel9PXL and the upcoming Pixel10 series would be more interesting with a TSMC made Tensor5 chipset. 🤞
Another point: The AI things on pixels is unmatched!
I went from the Z fold 6 to the pixel 9 pro xl and I have zero regrets it's been awesome period
The battery life is amazing. Definitely 3rd party launcher drain.
I get all day plus usage on mine
Why would you install nova launcher on ur pixel it’s like runing the whole pixel experience
if you want a customizable launcher that is still pixel UI get Lawnchair 2.0. allows you to customize icons and do all the things, yes even remove the google bar.
Nice video as always. So pixel 9 or pixel 9 pro ?
This looks great but i’m gonna hold out to leave iphone for the pixel 10. Then i’m jumping
Mine's getting VERY hot in the first 24 hours. Maybe it'll calm down?
It will
Thank you. You said what I want to say to google exactly 💯 they have to listen and fix these things😅 ASAP
I got mine for free I love it
What is the cost of this mobile in the USA, including taxes?
alot of ppl are not talking that almost 80% of the features that come with the pixel phone in Europe are non existant !! such as screen call the photo studio app etc.. wich is a total BS , this is why i pre-ordered the iphone 16 pro max , atleast if a feature gets rolled out it rolls to all the phones that are supported .
How is the scrolling with App like X. Does it still lags?
Reddit had quite a few posts re stuttering some saying android 15 helped resolve, or it automatically got better...others saying it didn't improve.
Samsung and Pixel uses the same modem btw
"Chef's Kiss!" I hate that cliche. Right up there with, "It is what it is...".
Good for you
Your hey Google activated mine somehow
How’s the upgrade gonna be if i switch from ip13 to pixel 9pro xl
Don’t
Wayyy better than iPhone
@@renaldofriloux495No,it's not
Flagship price and still using ufs 3.1 storage 😂
Benchmark is low considering the price if I was being truthful I miss my samsung 24 plus
im not very hopeful they will fix the zooming issues in videos
I could tell already watching the video that you were filming on the pixel, video still isn't great. But overall they had the best launch with their watch and phone
Looks very good to me
Its a good phone but its no s24 ultra. Simple as that 👌
Frankly, I have no idea why I'd pay $1,100 for a phone that offers a hi mid-tier processor? Especially, since the Samsung Galaxy s24 plus and the OnePlus 12 cost much less. Furthermore, both devices offer the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 generation 3. In addition, they both have far better specifications. For example, the OnePlus 12's battery and charging technology is far more advanced than the pixel. Not to be snarky but, the pixel lineup makes me want to check my birth certificate just to make sure that I wasn't born yesterday.
Agreed.👍 What a sham.
Just got mine today traded my S24 Ultra 512 gb
Huge downgrade
@@me5425 in speed and the auto brightness 🔆 issue and no s-pen and the special coating on the screen that kills all the reflectiveness along with some other key features I can see how you would say this I agree and disagree this phone is not the Ultra but it is innovation and great as well you just gotta see for yourselves
