Here’s the thing with me, I have shown many signs throughout my 18 years of cyclothymia, I’ve done research of my own on it before coming across this video. However, I also exceed when it comes to language, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, (and I can also read aloud as fast as if I’m rapping) etc., to back this up 3 of my English teachers so far have commended my work in front of the whole class. In the beginning you had mentioned that most would be stronger in a contrasting ability than that of the ability in language. Differing from the idea that my so called “gift” could quite be my competence in the English language.
I can somewhat relate- like I can tell myself apart from others... I dont sit correctly in my chair, I have mood swings every so often im an empath that also can deal with my own emotions... ive stocked myself with enough knowledge about myself to understand myself better than most understand themselves... so I am under control when it comes to my mood swings... I control the emotions but hyperactivity and the constant hesitations I get from my adhd symptoms are... annoying to some, a lot of people call me weird or an idiot considering I talk so much, in fact im not good with speaking language, I studder too much while I speak and whatever... new things I learn every day though about myself... I often look for people to make freinds with usually through their emotional state and I can understand them from the start so I know what I can do to make them be- ANYWAYS I GOT WAY TOO OFF TOPIC WAW I DIDNT KNOW ADHD WAS THIS BAD OK GOTTA GO!!!
@@Psych2go hey yo... do you think we can talk some time? wasn't expecting u to comment on this- but was thinking we could talk and ponder on the many vast complexes of empathy and what not... and all the sorts-
Don't worry, we all take our own gifts for granted because we're used to ourselves, it takes something extra to not be negative or hard on ourselves though, sometimes appreciating all that you have is the hardest thing to do, but once you can do it life should be effortless. Others notice value in things that we don't think is anything special, because we're simply desensitised to what we can do; we're used to it.
I can quite relate to a few of these, as one example, I am quite a musical person, and if I practice a bit, I can remember more than 70 songs at once! I do have a lot of mood swings and a lil bit of language problems, i am not left handed and i dont have any permanent sickness, which is good, i do get a flu once in the spring, and once in the autumm. I didn't quite understand why people have been saying im gifted and "nature's child" since pretty much forever, but this video helped me understand. Thank you!
Im not sure i gifted, but i can say one thing clearly, i can feel people emotions, and sometimes i feel myself like i reading peoples mind, well just imagine looking at absolutley normal person, but knowing he is angry right now... But there is good side too, i can help people who is sad beacuse i feel they aren't fine right now and need some help! But i really can't explain how it works, its like telling blind person about colors
I meet all criteria except strong working memory and being left handed. I have DID so I forget things all the time because of dissociation and amnesia. Thank you for this video!
My whole life, I’ve been great at vocabulary and grammar, but understand differently (comprehension). I’m severely moody and have crazy good memory. This explains some things!
Left handedness is linked to right brain and both these are associated with creativity traits, so I’m not convinced it’s necessarily it’s a sign of being gifted.
The strong memory surprised me, I’m an autistic savant with very good memory, I know science says you can’t remember anything when you’re an infant, but nothing ever said if you repeat a memory everyday from a young age it’ll likely carry on with you, I could remember as early as 3 months old and 1 year old. I’m blessed to have this good of memory. So now I consider it a gift. 🧪
I’m 20 unemployed, college dropout, no passion. And I just feel like a bum😞😞. But I have talent and very hardworking but just no guidance, and I just wanna make the right choices.😞😞
I’m like 10% with all five but I like a tiny bit good with my left hand side and my lefts leg it’s like both sides want to take over the other and today I’m feeling left side with all
i have one mood. It is flat and it never changed ever since adulthood. I learned that it is better to be flat because then nothing, no matter how hard thrown at you, will hit you. I am not gifted iam just flat and i think it's worse than depressed because atleast those folks cry.
People told me in the past that I'm smart (or intelligent or gifted or whatever), but their outside views of why elude me. Wherefore I fail in the slightest to understand. Part of me wonders if my skills are just deeply repressed due to learning disabilities, mental illness, and low self-esteem. Perhaps, maybe, I'm letting myself believe the noetic voice within me, that perpetually informs me over and over that I'm as dumb as dirt. I don't know.
thank you so much for all the informational videos you give us. thanks to you, i can tlel if i suffer from anything or have a good thing like being gifted! i appreciate your work and hope you succeed more then the massive number you're at!
0:31 so I’m confused about the placement of the left side and right side of the brain. Shouldn’t it be the individual’s left and right sides? Like MY side of the brain?
Instead of thinking that I am not gifted and discovering that maybe if I am secretly gifted, the opposite happened to me, because I think I am gifted but I don't relate with any of the points in the video, I've seen other videos in this channel like a video that is about how you inadvertently self-harm and I related easier to that, but hey, I'm not going to get depressed just for that.
So true i have so many allergies but at the same time im almost capable in everything i do,, gifted ppl sometimes processing differently and it affect the the work of their body

I'm diagnosed as gifted, and although the first 2 weren't true (I'm not a native English speaker and I'm right-handed for exemple), I fully related to the 3 others ! My memory often impress others, I have the worst immune system possible (being sick every 2 weeks is not pleasant at all), and have big mood swings all the time.
Me, a gifted, but with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysorthographia, dyscalculia, dysexicutive, dysgraphia, ADHD, Crohn and Autism: _I've won, but at what cost?_
i do relate to the 5 that we're mentioned in this video. but i think the only difference for me is, i was able to use both hands to write and type, but school forced me to become right handed (still dont know why to this day) and the mood swings does happen a lot of time, but with all the experiences i had, i ended up forcing myself to not really show much of what i actually feel, am going through since i live in a family and enviroment where people just like to bring u down wether ur feeling good or bad.
thats really rare, you must be ambidextrous (being able to use both right AND left limbs for any activities). school tends to force children to be right handed as not being right handed was ‘strange’ a few decades back. nowadays it rarely happens.
*SO... I'M GIFTED?? NAH, I'M NOT INTELLIGENT. YEAH - I HAVE TALENTS, I HAVE MY PASSION, I ALSO HAD ALL OF THESE QUALITIES, I'M LEFT HANDED, I HAVE TROUBLE IN GRAMMAR, I HAVE WEAK IMMUNITY, I HAVE MOOD SWINGS* *BUT I'M NOT HIGH GRADES, AND PEOPLE DON'T APPRECIATE MY TALENT* *SO I'M NOT GIFTED*
"right hemispere dominates the left" ... continous showing the left dominating the right. (the right hemisphere is the one on the right side of the brain seen as from the person whos brain it is, not as seen from the observer facing them. - just as your right foot is and stays your right foot no matter where an observer is standing compared to you)
Strangely enough I had the strong memory from the childhood I had, that and I was shocked that It counted as a secret gift I never saw which explains why I had lady luck for when she helped me at tight situations 😅

When I'm in balance, I have natural energy and passion for life, but don't go off the rails into mania like I did when constantly around people who triggered me and didn't have a safe place to call home. I laughed at the beginning of the comments because my love called me, "Speedball," when we first met, which was the most unique and endearing nickname I've received. I could tell he loved my show of emotions and how authentic they were instead of putting me down for it. He's helped me heal so much! I'm not sure if I'm, "gifted," but I love giving gifts. :)
Hi. Thank you for making these Videos. They help me a lot!
Hope it truly helps! Do you have any video requests?
I love this channel. It have confirmed so much by making me acknowledge that my problems have a name even after going to therapy, they never go deep enough.
Happy rainy day everyone
Thanks! I love rain
Happy rain day
Happy Rainy Day! Where are you commenting from?
Happy rainy day it rains all the time here in England
@@Psych2go I'm from Germany and rain is so calming and beautiful
Why am I crying 😭😭 this makes me feel so happy. I thought I was so flawed... Being left handed, have auto immune issues, bipolar, and having learning disabilities... I never thought all my creative hobbies were a good things 😭😭😭
so happy you are happy!
i’ve never been told i’m gifted but i’ve been told i’m special, probably not in a positive way
i’ve been i gifted schools my whole life and like i was always told i was smarter and that i was gifted and i wish they didn’t tell the children, it sets this expectation that you now HAVE to be smarter than everyone else and suddenly average feels like your failing and if your not perfect your doing something wrong
I noticed that I'm gifted only when she left...
What an assessment by me about myself?
I have only one of the signs. I have a strong working memory, I have a perfect immune system, I'm right handed and I don't have mood swings like I did in my younger years.
What are your current dreams and goals? Want to share with the world?
@@Psych2go My goals are to rebuild my confidence and boost my self-esteem.

thanks killua
ty!
In the beginning you had mentioned that most would be stronger in a contrasting ability than that of the ability in language. Differing from the idea that my so called “gift” could quite be my competence in the English language.
I literally am the opposite to all of these except for the mood swings lmfao
you are amazing in your own ways!
@@Psych2go Thank you!
I love your voice so much it is very calming
I often look for people to make freinds with usually through their emotional state and I can understand them from the start so I know what I can do to make them be- ANYWAYS I GOT WAY TOO OFF TOPIC WAW I DIDNT KNOW ADHD WAS THIS BAD OK GOTTA GO!!!
interesting!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing!
@@Psych2go oh wow you actually responded
The language issue is definitely me, the good working memory, definitely not me.
I didnt know left-handed people are gifted :o thank you so much for the video it makes me so happy that i am left-handed 🥳
LITERALLY ALL OF THEM...It's nice to know that my left-handed ness is STILL unique.
Thanks for sharing!
✨I'm not gifted, but I am thrifted.✨
Thanks for calling me out with all of these
I meet all criteria except strong working memory and being left handed. I have DID so I forget things all the time because of dissociation and amnesia. Thank you for this video!
My whole life, I’ve been great at vocabulary and grammar, but understand differently (comprehension). I’m severely moody and have crazy good memory. This explains some things!
Thanks for sharing!
Most of the 5 signs apply to me. When I was a little kid, everyone around said that I was very smart and had a big vocabulary for my age.
You still are the smartest person from this entire comment section.
i readed some of the comments and its true all peoples are gifted it just take some time to find yours❤❤
This video has freed me . . .
From my childish hope of being talented. So, thank you psych2go
Therefore, we are all gifted
My mom was teaching me how to write with my left hand but my dad preferred me being right handed. Now I’m right handed
I don't know.
thank you so much for all the informational videos you give us. thanks to you, i can tlel if i suffer from anything or have a good thing like being gifted! i appreciate your work and hope you succeed more then the massive number you're at!
ty!!
0:31 so I’m confused about the placement of the left side and right side of the brain. Shouldn’t it be the individual’s left and right sides? Like MY side of the brain?
Amazing best video, thank you for sharing greetings from your best friend, traditional Indonesian gold seeker ❤️🇮🇩⚒️⛏️💕💞🙏👍👍
Thank you for watching! By the way, did you know we have an Indonesian channel as well? ruclips.net/user/Psych2goIndonesia
Cant really relate to these lol, but gifted or not, do what u love and stay optimistic as much as possible
1. Struggles with language ✔
2. Left handed ❌
3. Immunocompromised: ✔Loaded with food/seasonal allergies since the day I was born, asthma, etc
4. Working memory: ✔98 percentile
5. Extreme Mood Swings ✔ suspected I've had bipolar disorder for quite some time
Being gifted is the best!
I've always been told that I'm gifted by my teachers, but my family has always told me, "You're not gifted; you're a hard worker!"
And you know what?
The only one of these I relate to is having a strong memory!
lol guess I am a hard worker after all
Hard workers are equally as respectable!
Wow! I was in gifted classes growing up and never really understood why, but I have all these traits.
yay!
3:26 no, simply none, I do not quite really do anything like this, my mood swings are great but not as intense as the aforementioned mood swings.
as a sort of eloquent speaker and a professional writer, the first point got me like “oh, well, guess not” lol

@@CindyPsych2go by the way thanks for responding❤i really appreciated!
1. Even though i know the language that someone spoke to me, i still find it hard for me to understand in an instant 🤨
2. I'm a lefty 🤚🏼
3. But i don't have any problem with my immune system, i rarely get sick 😌
4. I'm really good at remembering everything, basically i'm the alarm clock at my house ⏰
5. Yeah i often got mood swings 🥲
Thanks for sharing!
Im sure me just having #5 just means i have severe depression and anxiety issues.
I can remember age 6 dream like it was yesterday. Seriously for real.
Me, a gifted, but with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysorthographia, dyscalculia, dysexicutive, dysgraphia, ADHD, Crohn and Autism: _I've won, but at what cost?_
1. Check. 2. Check. 3. Check. 4 Check. 5. Well, it's complicated. The mood swings, yes. Maybe I'm secretly gifted.
i do relate to the 5 that we're mentioned in this video. but i think the only difference for me is, i was able to use both hands to write and type, but school forced me to become right handed (still dont know why to this day) and the mood swings does happen a lot of time, but with all the experiences i had, i ended up forcing myself to not really show much of what i actually feel, am going through since i live in a family and enviroment where people just like to bring u down wether ur feeling good or bad.
thats really rare, you must be ambidextrous (being able to use both right AND left limbs for any activities). school tends to force children to be right handed as not being right handed was ‘strange’ a few decades back. nowadays it rarely happens.
cool!
I'm gifted at procrastinating...I will watch this later
Okay.. now I think that my little brother is gifted.
You are absolutely gifted if you live in a healthy family in a encouraging environment. Brains you can always train afterwards.
"You have a strong working memory"
My ADHD ass: what even is that
*SO... I'M GIFTED?? NAH, I'M NOT INTELLIGENT. YEAH - I HAVE TALENTS, I HAVE MY PASSION, I ALSO HAD ALL OF THESE QUALITIES, I'M LEFT HANDED, I HAVE TROUBLE IN GRAMMAR, I HAVE WEAK IMMUNITY, I HAVE MOOD SWINGS*
*BUT I'M NOT HIGH GRADES, AND PEOPLE DON'T APPRECIATE MY TALENT*
*SO I'M NOT GIFTED*
"right hemispere dominates the left" ... continous showing the left dominating the right.
(the right hemisphere is the one on the right side of the brain seen as from the person whos brain it is, not as seen from the observer facing them. - just as your right foot is and stays your right foot no matter where an observer is standing compared to you)
I only related to 5,but I still think I’m very gifted! I just have severe emotional sensitivity and anger issues,it sucks :(
Strangely enough I had the strong memory from the childhood I had, that and I was shocked that It counted as a secret gift I never saw which explains why I had lady luck for when she helped me at tight situations 😅
crazy i’m right handed but i got all of these
1 3 and 5 are definitely true for me.
Though I doubt it's because I am gifted, I'm just weird...
