- We tried Skype Premium and it wasn't for us. Unfortunately the Skype cancellation instructions weren't accurate and they charged us for another month. Hopefully this video will help you in the cancellation process.

I won't be using Skype for phone service anymore seeing this shady behaviour. Luckily Facebook calling works great. I was visiting the UK and called my friend in Arizona on Facebook and it worked great. Thanks for this vid!

I ended up getting help through the online chat at Skype. Very helpful and refunded and cancelled!
Thank you for your video. I’ll try this. I spent a lot of time to find the way to cancel my phone number subscription. Because there is no Cancel Button in my account and Skype doesn’t have customer support by email/phone. It’s really frustrating. I never use Skype again.

Borderline criminal how difficult it is to cancel. It sent me through to around six different links and sites before I could finally figure it out.
Easy as pie1! From my laptop...Main account page --> look under your picture to see "subscriptions" --> hover over description of your subscriptions & click when it is possible (my subscrip descrip was "Unlimited North America") --> very next page has place to click "cancel subscription".
This is rude because they not set an option to cancel your credit card. MS automatically debit your VISA before 3 days of the skype number expiration...
This is STILL going on! I can't cancel my normal skype subscription there should be a class action lawsuit against Microsoft for obfuscating how to cancell this.
they've removed the ability to change to Skype credit, so I still can't cancel the subscription in order then to remove the payment method CC
Turns out switching still does not have the cancellation button appear.
I cannot even find my subscription in my account, but they sure charge me for it. In the list of subscription they only have an offer for me for the subscription that I already have. I am sure they do this on purpose. I had that happen with xbox live a couple of years ago and now the same with skype number. So, how can I cancel a subscription if I can't even get to it? I only have their email saying that they will charge me again in december unless I cancel. Thanks so much Microsoft! This is the worst company out there, and probably the most hated for a reason.

I've been trying to cancel my Skype Pro for months now. Fortunately the card to which it is automatically attached is not active, but I discovered that the last time I added Skype credit the Skype Pro payment was taken from that. The thing is Skype Pro doesn't even exist anymore and does not show up on my list of subscriptions in my account. Does anyone know 1.how to stop this payment and 2. a better service than Skype.
