- The Glorious Model I has arrived and this might be one of the best lightweight gaming mice of 2022 since it uses an ergonomic shape, replaceable buttons and amazing specs...all while costing just $60. But how does it do vs the Razer Basilisk, Logitech G502 and ROG Chakram along with other Glorious gaming mice like the Model D and Model O?

Can't wait for the wireless! This is DEFINITELY amazing looking!
I am currently using the Model D wireless and cannot agree more with your statement. Having those extra buttons on the side is going to be a game changer for me.
There’s also the Model I- and Model I- Wireless as well
You are so wrong, The Glorious Company is going downhill.
@@leonardoc.1584 we all wish that had happened also a model I wireless
The wireless version could definitely be a replacement for my current pwnage ultra custom, the shitty middle click on that is a real pain and i miss the additional buttons and the thumb rest of my g502 before that.
I enjoy the lighting scheme in your videos
That intro is incredible gj!!
THIS IS THE MOUSE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! Of course I'm going to wait for the revised version with the bugs and complaints ironed out, but I'm 100% buying this mouse!!!
I have always been wanting an light mouse with multiple buttons! I have gone through several and I mean several mice with multiple side buttons and the biggest issue with all of them was that either the side buttons were all super mushy or the mouse weight a ton.
Steelseries just announced the Aerox 5, which is basically an ultra light mouse of the Rival 5. Its a bit more expensive than the Model I but it seems like a good competitor to this one also.
Well the clicks are quite glitchy
there's no revised version, but there is a wireless version.
@@MyouKyuubi I imagine they made some improvements still. They did when they made the model D wireless.
@@Lemminjoose Yeah, the model i wireless looks nothing like the regular model i. :P
Take a look at their website, yourself.
In my opinion, they made the model i worse, in the wireless version... due to some misguided principles... it doesn't ventilate the palm as well as the original, because they went with smaller, round holes, instea of the honeycombs, which, in turn made the mouse heavier than the original... They could've made it just as light as the original, if they has just focused on function over form.
I just recently bought the wireless model d after my 2yr model d finally broke and I am really loving the wireless feature so much so I dont think I can ever go back to cabled mice. This mouse looks like everything i would want from a mouse of that design style except for the cable. When the wireless version releases its definitely a day one buy for me.
I loved the G502 back in the day, even added the included weights lmao. Once wireless comes out I’m definitely buying
love yr colourful mousepad which brand did u get?
I just had my 2nd Roccat mouse die in a year. I picked up this mouse on a whim and my wife picked up a smaller O- wireless, and man, we love our new mice from Glorious. I tend to break mice quite often and I just can't keep paying 100-150$ every time. I can't imagine needing to change out the buttons once you find the ones you want to use, so the ease of doing it seems like a non-issue. I'm glad they don't just fall out for no reason.
Loved that intro!
I'm currently using the Basilisk X Hyperspeed, and seeing Glorious finally making a mouse for bigger hand people with a thumb rest makes me so happy. Just hoping for a wireless version
Very interested for their wireless version in the future! Also that mouse pad is awesome! Which one is that?
I've been using Model D for like one and a half year already and absolutely love it, but if one day I needed a new mouse Model I will definitely be my next one
Thoughts on this one vs something like the MX master 3 for office use?
Any double click issue?? I had to return my model d- wireless because of that issue.
is the side button similar to the g502 DPI shift?
ayo you have very good aim man
Looks cool!
I see mixed reviews about this especially the side buttons being close to the thumb button, however alot of those criticisms are coming from reviewers who never use mice like this, I am a fan of mice with multiple side buttons. Might have to purchase it to see if its a good fit, it not its an instant return.
I have the model o wireless rn and I freaking love this thing. But the LEDS stopped working so I need a new mouse. I'm thinking about the model I!? Should I go for it or wait for something else?
Anyone knows what the keyboard with the grey and purple keycaps is in the video?
It's hard to switch off my Logitech Gpro ultralight as I'm rocking the wireless charging pad as well. I'd love to see Glorious take on Logitech with something like that in the future.
N will either be a 16+ button MMO mouse, or a productivity model. This one looks really cool. I would like to see a model I- for my dainty fingas.
I love the floral mouse pad! who makes it?
When I got my g502, the first thing I did was remove the thumb rest. I need to be able to feel the mouse pad with my thumb
How do I turn it on what keys do I press
mouse seems cool and id be down for it but the holes. been running the model d for a while and me with sweaty hands, its just not great for that. sweat residue gets caught in the holes. i got the griptape which covers the holes and gives a nice grip, but since its basically a rubber sticker, it eventually dents into the holes and residue still eventually gets caught there. and since its sort of elastic, cleaning it is still a pain as u will just end up pressing into the holes. so my mouse just looks gross and i cant do much about it except peeling off the griptape and getting a new set.
Is there a smaller version of this mouse?
Model i or d which is best?? In terms of ergo?
Just in time too! My old glorious model o is starting to malfunction. Its clicking when I have my finger down (its not related to the debounce time, I think its a hardware issue) and the wheel is getting a bit loose. Besides its not that expensive so I might try it
Name of keyboard you're using, sir? Please
Your cartoonish mousepad is fantastic, where did you got that from?
the intro is the best ngl
omg where can I get those keycaps?
Will definitely be looking for a wireless version.
can someone tell me what mouse mat is that 0:57 thnx
Awasome,3 side buttons in the perfect place.
Personally, i like the 502 for its weight and chunkyness. Feels nice and substantial. For me all these ultralight mice just feel super cheap for how thin, plasticky, and light they are.
May have to replace my model o- for this since it's a similar shape to my night sword
My problem with the G502 was my pinky would drag with out. The Model D it barely drags at all but I miss the comfort of the G502 shape. I am torn on buying the Model I but not sure if it has a sharp decrease in height for the right click.
As always, great video, Dmitry! Quick question, what keyboard is that? I've combed through recent videos and your full website, and I'm not able to find it. I'm probably just overlooking it somewhere. Thank you for your time, in advance.
The first one with the grey and blue/purple (sorry colourblind). That's the NZXT keyboard, and you don't want that
@@Murgablodazor69, thank you very much! I love my modded Q1 with Boba U4T switches, but I'm a sucker for the floating keycap look. I have heard that the NZXT keyboard wasn't very good. I appreciate the confirmation.
@@mikeoleksa Glorious has flloating style. They're good boards but the stabs definitely need some work but, so do most of them.
I wonder how close we can get to a superlight gaming mx master.
Epik Montage intro...
Is there any wireless version model I ?
It'd be an instant buy from me if they put tilt scroll in it. I can't go back to anything without it
True, do you know any mouse with a tilt scroll wheel that is lighter than the Razer Mamba elite? (96g)
Could this work as a lightweight g502 replacement for someone who's used g502 since it's release?
That’s the only problem I have with the g502. It’s thicc.
should be, once the wireless one comes out im picking one up
for me, i don’t think so. i really can’t use a mouse without the tilt scroll and the hyper wheel. if these to features were adopted then i believe it can easily replace the g502
imagine falling for such a scam😂😂
Ok I definitely want. I have the model d. Time to sell it and get this one.
I've been using the D wireless and I love it. 2 Mice ago I had the Logitech G502 which I loved the shape and the amount of buttons on the side, but when I started to get a little more into competitive games the weight really started to get to me so I downgraded to the G403 in favor of weight. Once the "I wireless" comes out, I will 100% be getting it so I can have the extra side buttons as well as it being lightweight!
It just did, yet it costs 100$
@@ThatRandomFerarriFan yeah when I posted that it didnt exist yet.. the $100 os a bit of a turnoff
@@MrFirefox365 I’m buying one tomorrow to replace my g502. Iv had 5 of them in the past 4 years, looking forward to the weight loss lol
@@LawsOnJoystick 5 in 4 years! Yikes! Hope it works out for you, I haven't decided to go for the Model I wireless yet due to the pricetag and because my current mouse still works great. Would love to know how you feel it matches up to the 502 tho.
@@MrFirefox365 I just ordered it right then lol, yeah i keep breaking the right click button,(starts double clicking etc), it got so bad I still have 3 brand new g502's in their boxes in the drawers beside me lol Im really just curious what a light mouse will be like,I just went for the wired version,I play wired everything by choice.
I've had the basalisk v2 for a while now this looks like a good upgrade since the basalisk wieghs 92 grams.
same, butttt, would miss the left/right mousewheel clicks
@@loquek I don't really find them useful except in some games where I can switch weapons with the clicks, I also don't find the adjustable scroll wheel resistance useful I don't see too much of a use for it so I just have it at almost maximum resisitance
What keyboard is that?
Good stuff. The buttons on the side is the problem me.
Hmmm, I owned a Model O before getting my Logitech G604.
This is like a weird combo between the Logitech I mentioned, or the Corsair ironclaw
I’m sad they’re not putting holes in the left & right click buttons, even the model D wireless you have an old one they don’t make anymore with those extra holes
Yeah they already stop making it
Just got it and my thumb rests weird on the side. It doesn’t hug the side as much as I would have liked
sir can you tell me about the software
sorry , totally off the topic, what keyboard you using, seems the prefect one im after!, TKL with Fnumbers
Lol O.D.I.N is pretty creative! And it matches the logo
I just realized, the fact that colored film isn't standard is beyond me. I used my first gaming mouse for about a month before I realized it had clear film on the feet, and I do remember glossing over them when I first opened the mouse but they didn't come out that easily.
@J M That was like 3 or 4 years ago (I think, maybe2?) with a DM1 FPS, since then I've had a Model O- and more recently an MZ1. You can bet those feet felt the wrath of my fingernails!
Why do we need 2 dpi buttons?
I used to use the G403 and now I'm using the Model O-
I like the Model O-, because I have small hands, but the shallowness is killing me, a thumb rest or a finger shelf would really solve the issue. Though, I am unsure if I could go back to a heavier mouse
I have a white area of dead skin cells around on my mousepad where my thumb's been while playing, the mousepad scratching away at my fingies
Edit: I dislike mice with perforations, which is why I've been looking at the Logitech Superlight, but it has Micro B connection, so I'll have to refrain
What size are your hands?
Model O wireless and Endgame XM1 are the best mice i've ever used
Seriously, where can I get that colourful gamey mousemat?
Is it possible to map any key input to the dpi buttons?
Should be possible
Playing Rust as much as I do in my age is KILLING my pinky finger. I think I might have to pick this mouse up. Using the Glorious D wireless right now and it is pretty nice.
I would buy the mouse, but knowing past experiences will glorious’ mouses, I’ll wait until they make a revision of it, since most of the times they release a new mouse, many people will encounter issues in its early days.
how does this compare to the viper mini? i really love small mice like the viper mini, but this lil turd has scroll wheel issues and i can't handle this thing for much longer.
what's the best mini mouse that doesn't have left click or scroll wheel issues?
He literally says this is for large hands and compares the size to the model D...do you have an imagination at all? This isn't a mini mouse
Liked this review alot more than BT's. BT was pretty much gonna hate it from the beginning because he doesnt like the 502.
Bt
Hey maybe we should have let them keep bending the cable in the box. I got a free ascended cable with whatever color I wanted out of it :)
I'll wait for wireless, interesting design and button placement. Also those grey keycaps looks good what are those?
it's their version of the g604.
What happened to the canuck logo??????
Woe a wireless version may just replace my g305 for most games but my fps will still be the viper 8k.
Steelseries aerox 5 and 9???
the swappable buttons are not difficult to remove... there's a gap where you're meant to use yoru nails to peel them out, and they come out easy, with barely any force, and also, barely any nail length too, lol.
only thing concerns me is three buttons in a row on the left side. if it was two , i would definetely buy this one.
And all 4 sidebuttons work??
I just bought a model O yesterday too lol
I don't mind watching your sponsors because they're short and sweet, the reason why most people tend to skip sponsored segments is because they're usually minutes long and something noone's interested in, but most of your sponsors are relevant to the channel and your sponsor segments are nice and short.
"the next mouse is gonna be the I wireless or the I minus. Glorious: Releases Model O Pro
Speaking of mmo mouse, I forgot I have a Razer Naga Molten in storage....*checks ebay* HOLY FUCK!
The mousewheel on the model D needs a rework. Once you click the middle button a certain amount of time it wears down where it has a "blind spot" which doesn´t actuate as good and the feedback gets lost in that position.
I want a mouse with a pinky rest, basically this mouse with the shape of the thumb side mirrored to the pinky side.
Ergo mouse do that job for me, like the model D or the ultra custom ergo
Looks cool but just seems a bit meh since it's just another g502 clone like the Razer Basilisk. Sure there are extra features we haven't seen on a mouse like this such as the honeycomb design and swappable buttons but I'd take wireless and an infinite scroll wheel above any of the current competition. Nice to see competition targeting the popular g502 though, hopefully someone managed to de-crown it one day!
Maybe the Model N will be a full fledged mmo mouse with a full side pane
I want a glorious mmo mouse now
Should release a solid shell for it, that honeycomb pattern is just dumb!
Wish they would have done tilt scrolling
Yes, such a shame they didn't - not sure why people won't release a lightweight basilisk/g502 pretty sure it would be crazy popular
@@loquek or maybe a mini basilisk
Once they release the wireless I can finally get rid of my corsair Dark Core (on my 3rd replacement)
I love the shape of Corsair mice, but they always have glaring issues.
The honeycomb pattern looks great, but I feel it's a pain in the ass when the dirt gets stuck on it due to sweaty hands..
Put grips on it, not much extra weight but covers the holes
I ahve the model d and it's pretty easy to clean. No dirt, just some lint. I just use a brush to brush it off.
2:50 ahh yes
It feels wrong watching CSGO footage at 30fps.
Yes finally more buttons at lower weight!!! But….. why the fin on the left side. Whyyyyy
you don't like a thumbrest?
I think the N will be like the Razer NAGA or Corsair Scimitar
Glorious's lineup is officially spells DIO!
This mouse is perfect for me the model o is fine but it ain’t the one for me. For exp. I love the Logitech master mx mouse or whatever it’s called because of how their is that ledge part same as the model o where you can rest your thumb with ez
I've been waiting for this mouse!
I have a basilisk and I 'need' the button that Glorious added for some macros. The Basilisk has a clutch but a button will serve equally well.
I just need the minus for my small hands
Why do they not give a shelf for pinky..
This. Pinky/ring finger rest > thumb rest. Thats what I miss the most about my naga. Im guessing the Model D will be a naga clone though.
Hopefully the older 2012 version! My Naga Molten is by far the most comfortable mouse ive ever used. A lightweight better sensor version of it would get an easy $120 from me. New naga shape sucks, and its still way too heavy.
@@Wylie288 Try the Naos 7k!
i need this fricking mouse
matte white wireless pls
N better be a mmo mouse or work mouse like mx master with the unlocked scroll wheel
This looks amazing but I have been using wireless for way too long
Could be a great Lightweight Basalisk Ultimate alternative
Basilisk ultimate shape with viper ultimate weight
I just got the basilisk then glorious wanna release this -.-
Razer Basilisk Ultimate was the worst money i ever spent... Their software corrupts itself over time, and eventually freezes before it can even start up, and eats up resource on your computer, and cannot be uninstalled easily, so i can no longer adjust the settings or keybinds of the mouse... It came with a defective scrollwheel too, scrolling produces ghosting of opposite signals, so every time i scroll down, the mouse ghosts a scroll up, and vice versa, so scrolling doesn't get me anywhere. :P
And it lacks gliding plastics on the right side, as that's where most of the weight and friction is applied... It also makes my hand ultra-sweaty.
The glorious model i here is gonna fix literally ALL of those problems.
