I had to keep it charging 24/7.

Literally perfect for my needs, I never use the infinite scrollwheel on my g502 hero. I am looking for a wireless one and my main concern was battery life. This ticks all the boxes. The third side button and the "sniper" button seemed like they would be annoying but with them being swappable to an almost flat version makes this really promising.
Yea very bad, just got the thing yesterday and after 5 hours of gaming it shot from 75% out the box to 43% by the time i was done , Im not a huge RGB fanboy so ill turn it off and see how it does today

It keeps saying it’s dead and wasn’t able to trial run it without it being plugged in. I’m upset glorious still isn’t fixed the problem but I’m glad my boy frank p had a solution for me in the short term
The one reason my dad won't switch from is g502 is the infinite scroll, I don't see many gaming mice have that feature would be cool to get it in another model I (model I pro or something like that)
Logitech holds the invention patent for the Infinite Scroll Wheel since 2009. The patent is set to expire from 2029 or 2033 (if they extend it). That's why no other brand has that feature. Razer manage to make their own version with the magnetic implementation.
@LuckyS7 I have the Basilisk v3 Pro and this thing is not that great. It has a ton of features but i had to unbind all 3 scroll wheel clicks (side clicks and middle click). Everytime i lift the damn thing and put it back after doing a 180 on FPS games, the scroll wheel would bounce and trigger the clicks, it's just too heavy. The Sniper button on the side is also very hard to reach, and almost impossible if you grab it in a claw pattern.
Imo the viper ultimate (yes, not the v2 pro or whatever the fuck it's called) is the best. It may not be the lightest, but it's not heavy at all, nor does it sacrifice on ambidexterity or the charging stand the new ones lack. The rgb isn't necessary, but i like it for easily telling me if the mouse is on (considering it's wireless). It's also the best form factor i've tried.
When my battery dies (not soon btw) i'll replace it. I see no real reason to upgrade. The viper mini signature edition looks awesome, but it's too small for me.
@@toxicturkeyy unless you're 7' tall your hands aren't big enough to call that mouse "too small". Polling rate more than a 1000 isn't always a good thing. Even pro gamers utilise mostly around 500 - 1000hz. More doesn't always mean better. I find anything more than a 1000hz too fidgety for my liking. Higher polling rates are more of a marketing gimmick. Hence to me, 1000hz polling rate at max isn't a bummer by any means. I would agree with you on the fact that this mouse doesn't have the wireless charging dock option which is minor downside as this mouse is really awesome and well-priced.
I did too, cancelled due to the tremendous wait and the awful O2 wireless release which had the performance of a $10 mouse. Hopefully they tuned it up with how long the delay was though
Ive been waiting a really long time for this, so I could replace my G502LS with the mouse. However the issues with the transmitter on the last glorious mouses makes me wonder
I use my Razer Naga 2012 for work and its 12 side buttons are Godsent for me. I wish they made the side buttons 6 atleast. I guess I'll hold my naga for a little longer. lol
@@goatguythepowerful If you specifically want this shape, probably nothing else. But for any other shape Pulsar, Lamzu, Vaxee, Endgame Gear, hell even razer has their viper/DA series discounted plenty of times. And thats just if are trying to keep to the around $100 range.
Maybe they call it the I 2 because of the (albeit subtle) shape changes? Lol that's the only reason I could think of as to why they'd change the name. This thing looks sick! I love how the "hump" of the mouse is more toward the back instead of the middle like on the Logitech and Razer mice you compared it to. Just my personal preference on shape because of how my grip is. Looks like a great value for 100 bucks. This might just be my first Glorious product purchase!
Is there no plans for a minus version. This is the issue with every single market. Every brand makes a mouse with more buttons but they dont also make a smaller version for smaller hands. Smaller hands matters too.
IMO, if glorious implemented some type of hyper scroll/free scroll, this thing would be a killer and I’d pick it up. Unfortunately it doesn’t offer anything substantial other than weight, and if that’s what you’re concerned with, there are so many other great lightweight options on the market.
The selling point for me is the combination of both being lightweight and having a lot of programmable buttons. If weight was my only concern i would've gone with the Logitech Superlight ages ago, sadly it doesn't have as many buttons to work with and i really need them. I went for the Basilisk V3 Pro months ago because i needed another mouse to replace my Model O wireless, and even though it has a ton of features i dislike it because of the weight.
Wireless charging is so weird for me even on phones .. u run a cable to the wireless charge anyways might as well put it in your device and make it charge faster
How? Just because it has holes, 4 side buttons, and is wireless? Lol the shape is completely different. Body shape is what defines and differentiates mice for me. This mouse is more ergonomic shaped, and the Aerox is more symmetrical.
Sure, the shape of the Basilisk and G502x are closer, but It's still a larger, right-handed ergonomic shape, with the recessed thumb area and flare on the right side and feels like it in the hand. It is also closer in price, weight, amount and location of buttons and has similar tech/features. The only main difference I'm noticing is the Aerox not having much of a thumb rest. I never said the shape was a closer comparison, I'm referring to everything else above and it's still a light-weight ergo with extra buttons whereas the G502X and Basilisk V3 are not really intended to be truly lightweight. @@kasper_429

Am I the only one that noticed that his aim is crazy good.
I haven't removed the plastics on the bottom of the mouse yet, hehe

V2 Pro vs Model O 2 Wireless?
V2 Pro.. by a mile it's not even close take a look at Linus' testing
can they make a lighter g502 please
bruh i preordered this mouse and back in oct/nov and have YET to receive it >:(
I did too, cancelled due to the tremendous wait and the awful O2 wireless release which had the performance of a $10 mouse. Hopefully they tuned it up with how long the delay was though
My model i2 battery is dying quickly ....play valorant for 80 minutes lighting 30% ,battery level from 100% to 75%, is that normal?
Would you say that the model 0 wireless is better in terms of gaming to this mouse? I'm looking for a mouse to get and I'm stuck lol
Seems like all those model 2 wireless reviews made Glorious actually make a decent mouse once again.
just want to sure is this good or the razer basilisk v3 pro or the logitech G502 x plus
Im going to need that scale damn where is it from!!
Been waiting almost a year for this. gonna pick this up
I want a lighter mouse, but I just use the infinite scroll wheel too much in casual computer usage. Maybe I'll buy two mice or something lol
When did you change your name back?
Ive been waiting a really long time for this, so I could replace my G502LS with the mouse.
However the issues with the transmitter on the last glorious mouses makes me wonder
If you already have the g502 x do you feel like the weight drop made the difference?
x2
Compare this to the Steelseries Aerox 5 wireless.
I use my Razer Naga 2012 for work and its 12 side buttons are Godsent for me. I wish they made the side buttons 6 atleast. I guess I'll hold my naga for a little longer. lol
Why not get the Razer Naga v2 Pro.
@@CodeVenomSnakes Because its a bit heavy. Aerox 9 might be the viable choice interms of weight but the shape is not quite right for my liking.
Never had a good experience with glorious mice at least their customer support was pretty good
Does the mouse need Bluetooth
Ok, stupid question.... What game is he playing here? Looks familiar but i just can't place it
What about other mouse in the same $99 range, is this one better in that price range?
Not the same because they are going for lighter weight and higher poll rate. Also different shape that more safe in more people hands.
@CodeVenomSnakes sorry I'm kinda lost! So this is not for gaming or it's, it's this one safer shape or the other one?
Hey guys, does the glorious model I2 double click (can you drag click on that mouse) cause I may wanna buy it but I want a mouse that can drag click
Do they made one without the hole
WTF is this question.
I just cant imagine buying a glorious anymore, when there are so many better options out now for the same price, if not cheaper.
Like what? (Not being toxic, just curious)
@RCmetal11 good point, thanks for the recommendations
I’ve been looking for this
Maybe they call it the I 2 because of the (albeit subtle) shape changes? Lol that's the only reason I could think of as to why they'd change the name.
This thing looks sick! I love how the "hump" of the mouse is more toward the back instead of the middle like on the Logitech and Razer mice you compared it to. Just my personal preference on shape because of how my grip is. Looks like a great value for 100 bucks. This might just be my first Glorious product purchase!
if coolermaster came out with a wireless mm720
@@dio4296Weight is a boner killer. Never understood why you'd want to add weight to a mouse, even if more features is nice...
What's the game name?
finally a mouse that can replace my razer basilisk
See how they made sure to clearly mark the glide pads unlike that other mouse being talked about right now
I just picked this up.. i hope its good!
Do you like the mouse?
@@LudakidTVhi
so is it good?
I get that the holes are for lightweight style, but MAN I wish more "gaming" mice didn't have them. They're an absolute pain to clean.
I wish I was right handed to be able to discover a lot more gaming mices.
I love the model i. Might get this one
Bro before I really wanted the glorious model i2 but like one month ago I got the o2 and now I really want the i2 but I am not allowed to get it😭😭😭😭
How come? I currently have the Model O- Wireless, but I'm trying to decide on which model to get. What's making you want to switch?
I got this mouse and am happy with it overall I have had a few issues with the mouse stuttering and not tracking well running it wirless though

If this had wireless charging, I might check it out. My G502 X has new spoiled with the wireless mouse pad charging. 😀
Wireless charging is so weird for me even on phones .. u run a cable to the wireless charge anyways might as well put it in your device and make it charge faster
@@ayrebhalsabe7404 lol
@@ayrebhalsabe7404Nah it makes sense for a mouse as it's always on the pad
Internal wireless charging receivers weigh about 15g to 20g, so the mouse would pretty much be no different to g502/basilisk if it had that
if only we could get a sub 80g g502, logitech would have my money. won't even think twice of getting a powerplay mousepad.
My model O- gave out at 6 months….
And about to use my gift card from them try this out 😂
The Aerox 5 Wireless would have been a closer comparison than the Razer and Logitech, but a great review otherwise!
Kone XP Air > all the above mice. More buttons.
