Spooky is ALWAYS in season! I always try to think which is my favorite part but I can't pick with this one. The sky, the trees, the tombstones....it's all hauntingly magical!
I get so excited when I see a painting of yours! I’ve learned a lot about painting from your videos, and I really love watching your process. Also - phthalo blue + white glazed over black is such a satisfying combination, can’t wait to try a night sky like this one
It took me days to get thru this, but so worth it! Not a big Halloween person, but love the moon and the contrast between light/dark, the 3 dimensional aspects of the script on the gravestones. Personally, I love graveyards. Have been to the one in Deadwood, SD. Calamity Jane, Bill Hickok, & sadly a separate area for children who died in a tuberculosis epidemic and of course local graveyards. You captured the spirit of those who have passed, but still exist in this world. Atmosphere...you captured it!
