So happy to see you back Jane. Remember my dad? The vegetables in stock to make good soup? He died. Your attention to his analogy was appreciated. You made an old man happy. X
Aaaw, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, Lorna💛 It was a great analogy. He sounds like a great guy. My heart goes out to you 💛
@@PaintingwithJanethank you Jane. He was indeed a great guy. Xx
I really like this tutorial. You are my teacher, I'm learning a lot with you, thanks for your videos.
Love your paintings. I enjoy learning from you. Thank you for showing me how to paint the right way. Love how you show how to do step by step painting. ❤😊
love this... its a true journal... as in the writing space is perfect for the person who journals daily! It pretty, well done and well designed. Love that you honored the challenge as many only can shop at the dollar store as its the only place available in our area or we are on a budget for crafting and art. Keep making the videos, your voice, filming spot on! Thank you!
Oh Jane I’ve missed you! I always liked to paint, never knew how to, did it anyways, wasn’t happy with the outcome.. then I stumbled upon your channel and the first painting I did was the flowers in a vase painted without brushes but with fingers. It’s my absolute favorite painting I’ve done and it still hangs in moms living room and my grandma commissioned me to make one for her, still hangs in her dining area!
I haven’t been painting so much the past couple years - because I don’t have inspiration nor talent. But to paint with you! Your videos, it’s easier. It’s ok when you need time off or even if you decide to never come back to RUclips - that’s valid and we understand! But I am so happy that you’re here again and I really want to paint this picture now! The fact that our summer in Germany right now feels more like fall helps too 😂
You’re a great teacher Jane, I have fond memories of watching your videos and painting what you tell me to! 🖤
I hope you get back to it!!! Talent isn't required. Just have fun!!
Ty so much. I really enjoyed watching your video. You make it look effortless. Thanks again.
Love this piece!
I love how you teach
Love it! Thank you!
Welcome back Jane!
I really like the vibe created by the music in this video. Jane you always select the best music for your videos and at just the perfect volume. This painting is just awesome. I love it. 🎉😊
Great job, Jane! Looking forward to painting this, after my move.
Wow Jane, you are such an inspiration to me. Thank you so much
Nice to see you again 🐻
I absolutely love this 💖
رائعة كالعادة 💜
Nice to see you again!
Magnifique ! ❤❤😊😃🇲🇫
I wish I could paint now but I’m working 😟can’t wait to watch later! I’m so glad you’re back!
Super excited just saw three upcoming events and I’m ready to roll. 💪💪💪
Great one!!!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
Merci beaucoup . You are a good artist and a beautiful person.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What is the music in the background? I love its ethereal sound.
I don't remember off the top of my head... But there's always info and a link for my music in the video description :)
Jane this is wonderful! Why are you using the medium? And how do you know when you need to dip the brush in it?
I pretty much use the medium instead of water. I don't usually get extra water unless I need the paint to be runnier. Water can break down the binder in your paint so I find it's best to use it as little as possible.
@@PaintingwithJanethank you for explaining the science and technical reason behind it and not just “it blends easier”. For this reason, it makes you one of my favs to follow along with. I learn *a lot* more. Thank you.
On the Liquithick, is it just thick acrylic and will dry and clean like regular acrylic?
Do you mean the medium used to make acrylic more like oil paint? No, it's a strange material that actually has a chemical reaction to the acrylic paint which makes it puff up a little. It's strange stuff.
@PaintingwithJane yes that's the one. I bought some. It is weird but cool. I was wondering if it cleans, etc, like acrylic or does it need to be handled like oils
No, it's not like oil at all. I would handle it with a palette knife as much as possible because it could gum up a brush. Otherwise, you can treat it like any acrylic medium. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, Cindy! I didn't get a notification of this comment!
Is that a glass palette?
It is!
