- I’ve lived in Bury Park Luton for 5 years. It gets bad press. People ask ‘why do you live in a place where whites are not allowed and it’s riddled with gangs’. My response is in the video.

I lived in bury park in the 90’s and it’s the only place that neighbours came and fed me etc when festivals.
Yeah mostly they are decent ppl here bro 🤛
I love the people in bury park, always treated me like a princess x good people x
And they love the Judester, whenever you used to come up they would see it was you and stop all the cars to let you into the tunnel, the batcave.

@@salfordtrump4010 I will look that up, I know it’s a sensitive area I’m touching on here, and I can only go with my own experience. Yes there are extremes in Islam that talk about wiping out infidels but you get extremes in every religion, but that is certainly not the dominant belief system here, I’ve been shown the upmost loyalty and love from my friends here who I’ve known over 30 years. You can’t put everyone in the same pot brother, my family are Irish and came here in the 60s. Lot of prejudice, and my grandad was in the navy during the war. And the ancestors of the people living here fought in the Second World War for Britain, you sound like a decent guy I don’t know your personal experience, I like to take ppl how I find them until they stab me in the back, then their history in my eyes yknow, take care. I’ll look that book up

I like walking about Bury Park and do regularly when I’m down a few times every year on holiday visiting family.
I’ve never had a spot of bother but that said, I don’t run about or act like a dick so nobody has any reason not to treat me with the respect I give others.
Bury Park is culturally diverse but I love the quirkiness of it and the grocery and food places.
Taking the daily walk up to Farley Hill is a challenge but that’s only because I’m getting unfit and the hill from Ashburnham Road up to Long Croft Road is so bloody steep 😂

Brother. I 100% agree. I feel like I’ve run half marathon trying to get to the top, and yeah it’s a beautiful oasis in a built up area, and I agree with you. If you treat ppl with disrespect there you’ll have a very bad experience, but like you, I treat everyone the same, people laying in shop doorways to all the players, treat them with equal respect, enjoyed reading your comments👊👊
