- After my first video in Luton, people seemed to have a lot to say about the Bury Park area, so I thought I'd head down and check it out for myself.

I like videos like this. It really shows that no matter what, different cultures always prefer to live together in like minded groups ‘Communities’. So people really need to stop glorifying ‘diversity’ in reality it just doesn’t happen. This community isn’t diverse, it’s just non-white. So looking forward a few years this is what all towns in UK will look like. The most used baby names in UK are now Muslim names. This isn’t diversity, it’s replacement.
People need to realise we are all tribal, what is the point of diversity where nobody speaks the same language, its infuriating, you can be an a taxi for example, and the driver is witthering on in his own language, I think it's dead ignorant.

Truth
This is the new town centre, the old town centre is like an apocalyptic scene with government and welfare buildings, job centre, pound shops and a run down macdonalds.
At night, Luton town centre has a vibrant night life and because there are so few Asians there it's safe and fun.
This isn't the town centre at all, it's bury park, an Asian area near the town with a very high Asian population.
Generally they keep themselves to themselves, but the place is pretty lawless. Lots of drug dealing and shootings here

As their enclave grows, so too does their drug businesses that extend far beyond Bury Park which is of course a no go/no enforcement area for the police. They also treat all of Luton's roads as their personal race track in their illegally modified cars.

Try to enter as a white person Small Heath Birmingham. OH my goodness.I felt threatened. It felt like I was not in the UK but totally in somebody else's nightmare. AT one point I wanted to call the police to protect myself. I did not feel safe at all. It was an awful experience. I could not wait to leave that place so I could stop panicking and feel more safe. It was BAD!!!!! Never AGAIN! Britain is welcoming and respectful to other cultures, but when those cultures are not respectful back creating their own rules and way about their lives not being able to adapt to British ways of life....they should not have a right living in the UK. And I am a foreigner myself. It felt like I was in the 3rd world country not the UK, in Wild Wild West without any laws.

20 yrs ago I worked round here ,and apart from the takeover of the gaff ,it was a grim place and atmosphere even back then ,the UK with 6 million poles registered here and others ,on top of other foreigners no wonder tommy Robinson ,gets so upset about the town he was born 😢

Got to love the racists in the comments. Just be honest guys, you envy how close knit the community is. We might have a few bad seeds in our community but most of us are absolutely smashing it in every sense of the word. We came as immigrants, worked our backsides off and now many of us are mortgage free, contributing to society as doctors, lawyers and business owners. Not only do we speak English, we are all multi lingual. Have properties in the UK and on the other side of the planet, have the ability to travel all around the world without having such a narrow mind and view of people such as yourselves. It's just amazing. I also want to thank the UK government for giving us the opportunity because despite what you read about the loud racists on social media, the UK gov still supports legal immigrants.
Bury park has the best cafes and restaurants in the whole of luton. And alot of discount food and clothes shops. Theres even sainsburys and lidl. 🎉

Sorry but that's all total crap, I've been in and about Luton for 50 years and to say Bury Park it's a cultural mix and welcoming is ridiculous, try walking around Bury Park if you are Jewish or lgbt, go on do it for a dare dress up in Jewish or trans clothing and spend an hour walking thru Bury Park at 10.pm let's see how welcoming it feels
It is a cultural mix, it’s majority Muslim but there is a huge mix of cultures there despite all the morons that try to portray it as some kind of ‘no go zone’ for non-Muslims. I saw at least about 4/5 Christian churches and several supermarkets and clothes shops from al over the world, not just Pakistani, as mentioned in the video.
Also, I specified in the video that this was how I felt during the day and I can’t speak in how it is at night..
I also conceded the high crime rate backed by statistics. So maybe watch the whole video before dismissing it as ‘total crap’.

Sorry, but you're wrong about the being invited over to Britain after the war due to labour shortages. 4.3 million servicemen and women were demobbed after WWII, so there would have been no shortage of labour as they needed to find jobs. lived in luton my whole life until rrecently, i was always impressed with the sense of community in bury park. for such a multicultural town, luton is a very segregated place. the majority of white people have moved to the outskirts to get away from the town centre and bury park, and growing up there as a white person it's drilled into you that you should avoid visitng or going through there. with an open mind you realise it's a nice place with a lot of decent hard-working people, although you do see a lot of fights and knife crime in the area on the local news
Tbf as a white person we’re not completely segregated. Idk how old you are but growing up in Farley Hill (mainly white) a lot of my mates were white and black and a few Asians. My mums generation though (80s) it was definitely keep to yourself
yeah bury park definitely isn’t a dangerous place, some kids who make trouble for themselves but that’s about it. It’s quite lively so I don’t mind going there
White, and black, people were ethnically cleansed through intimidation while the police denied everything. They were people who raised families in the only houses they ever bought or were from the Windrush generation terrorised into moving. BBC Three Counties radio did an investigation and within a short time exposed how useless the police are. Bury Park is a no-go zone for the police except when in large numbers for a major incident. Visit Luton town centre and they're always there walking around wasting their time an tax payers money.

I worked in Luton from 2015 to 2018 and i met so many friends there, mostly people of Kashmiri and Punjabi descent. I have very nice memories of this place.

I'm petite, very white (Polish) and I walked to Bury Park ~3x's a week for a year and I never had an issue. I think the worst I saw was they made me "white girl" medium spicy food instead of actual medium spicy as ordered. I lived on the edge of Central Luton and Farley Hill where there were regular fights, noise, even a car jacking in our car park.

Excellent video thank you. As a older white female I often visit Bury Park for the excellent chemists and I agree I have never felt unsafe. I would say the amount of rubbish dumped on the streets is a big negative in Bury Park , the community need to take pride in their own area. The housing stock is one of the oldest in Luton, terraced houses are only found here and High Town now, Luton has its fair share of half and one million homes now but those areas are never talked about. Not sure what the (SHOCKING) in the title is all about, click bait?
Thanks very much. Honestly , from what I saw, the rubbish didn’t seem that bad. Compared to other similar areas in the country, I thought that Bury Park (the main road at least ) was fairly clean and tidy and I didn’t notice too much litter. I didn’t get round to every single part of the area though.

I have to agree with your last remark.... 'shocking' in caps is really uncalled for. What I liked about the video was the whole demographic exposition about ethnic population densities, where they had come from and why. It was thoroughly coherent stuff as we wandered past somewhat exotic shopfronts with clothes and food spilling onto the pavements. I am quite surprised that only one man was willing to talk on camera - and even then with head obscured. Where are all the narcissists who only want a bit of publicity? Evidently Bury Park in Luton does not breed them!

Except that Luton town had just as much christmassy feeling as any other town.. I know I live here.. Near bury park... and work in local communities in several of towns areas of high.. deprivation. Bury Park is an area with a lot of history, people are friendly (I have been there occasionally in evening..... I don't much like being out in Luton generally in late evening) and there's lots being done by people working gige9 to improve and better areas and quality of life. I've lived. In Luton over 40 years. It's not perfect, but it has its good points too

Bury Park is like any other area in the sense that if you go there without any negative expectation, with a specific purpose, on the whole you will be just fine. If you are there at night at anti social hours, just ambling along, you will increase the chances of having an issue.
Isn't that similar with most densely populated low social economic areas?

You did not drive through the town centre as it has been pedestrian only for more than 30 years, you are probably talking about Dunstable Road which would bring you through Bury Park.
Brilliant video!!! I can guarantee that most of the people there are a lot more friendly that in some of the all white council estates in my city! Love exploring towns and cities. Only been there a couple of times as an Away football supporter but I need to go and explore the town for a day.

It holds a record for most goals by a player in a singke game when in 1936 Joe Payne scored 10 goals in a 12-0 win a football league record and just before world war 2 Luton were top of the old second division when that season got abandoned so the ckub could of made the top division way back in 1939 the area of Luton was bombed by the Germans many times during WW2 the stadium was used to make a big net that local women made that ended up being put over the Luton Town Hall which darkened it so the Germans couldn't see the clock tower at night when they bombed Luton especially Vauxhall motorways and Skefco ball bearings (ball bearings were used in machinery for the army and in vehicles) good video
