Hi family 🥰👋🏾. Great seeing you Sharon up & about. How are you Sharon? What would the UK be without rain 🌧?😄. 😂😂Tommy's more concerned with getting wet than getting robbed/hurt. Your priorities are something else. Thanks for the tour 😊
My home area. Tin town originally then marsh farm then moved out the ends to barton and now for 6 years been living in turkiye. Im a white guy with uzbekistan girlfriend. One good thing luton gave me was a culturally mixed and understanding way of life.
Yeah it’s a blessing growing up in a melting pot of different cultures (I know some people would disagree) I also have family that moved from Luton out to Barton and still there now!
Hi Tommy and Sharon the girls are getting so big Wow! thanks for the journey showing where your from Tommy and I'm loving the pixie cut Sharon I just cut my locs into a pixie cut for the summer
Born and Raised In The Marsh. Lived there for the first 20 years of my life. The place is still full of crime . Just moved out to canada. Its what the canadians would call the hood. It hurts but its home. Long the the marsh
I'm not a Lutonian but you shouldnt encourage this type of negative labelling of Luton. It's just like Hounslow Hayes Slough Ilford Barking Croydon. The difference is those places are part of a city where all the posh people and filthy rich also live so they don't get singled out as much as Luton does.
I won born and bred in park town it has gone to shit now but back in the day the 70’s 80’s90’s and the 2000s it woz a great place to live and we had a firm called the PTF 👍💪🏻
It looks a little better now they have renovated the flats. I don’t know the area too well but as you could tell felt a little out of my comfort zone there lol
I guess if you like to see immigration on the scale seen in Luton and other towns and cities in the UK. It's no problem. Opinion polls say they are in the minority though.
I'm a Luton resident and sorry but your video in the parts where you act all terrified outside the high rise flats is an absolute disgrace, you really don't know these parts of town just listening to the hype. I feel safer in Luton than many places. It is a shame about the Warden the owners shut that down and the Halfway House on the border of Luton & Dunstable a couple of weeks ago. You need to come back to Marsh Farm go for a walk you could of took your girls to the new shops across the road there is now an indoor playground also at Marsh House the Old farm house is now renovated into a community cafe, and a bar. Good you support the Hatters. COYH But please do not be scared!Luton is not a slum especially the high rise flats
Appreciate your comment! So scared was not necessarily what I was going for lol, just cautious in Neighbourhoods I only know off reputation and hearsay. I bottled it abit in Park town more so because I had a camera in my hand. Thank you for watching. COYH 🧡🎩
@@tommydmo Fair enough Tommy, good to see my home town, and my back yard I've lived in and around Marsh Farm virtually every year of my life while I am now in my 40s I remember the riots of the mid 1990s the estate suffered from being built quickly and the waiting list of people with young children or starting up to have families were built there, I was one of the youth, we had not much things to do as teenagers and a high crime area lot of teenagers used to hang around for not much reason in those days the riots happened over police excessively trying to arrest a boy of colour which quickly turned into a stand off that spilled into the evening the teenagers all heard something was going on and crowds built as did the police presence eventually the helicopters and media were out and it turned into a magnet I've spoken to people who lived up to 30 miles away who drove to Luton those nights to see what was going on we had 2 supermarkets raided both closed on the estate after, Coop and Kwiksaves, cars were burnt out, the schools had arson attacks. The estate just ignited but mainly it was from the youth people under 21 mostly teenagers. As time has gone by these youngsters have grown up left more of the estate is private owned and people look after their homes better as the housing waiting list is so long and preciously scarce. As a middle aged bloke now I feel unsafe on occasion in the evenings as I don't know the youth on this estate anymore but I've never had trouble the worst part of Luton for me is the High Town going into the town centre and creeping up into Farley Hill area with lots of HMOs and tiny bedsit office conversions. One area that I feel safe in as a white person is Bury Park I've never had any problems there despite its reputation. Drugs is the biggest problem in Luton in the town centre along with rough sleeping and some alcoholics and the place has some spots that are so ugly that as a council I think some sort of Ugly law should be brought in to clean up certain buildings and derelict areas for example in Brittania Industrial estate we have a half demolished building its looked like it for like maybe a decade.
@@tommydmo I reckon you should find a man called Glen Jenkins he used to run Exodus music he is part of the team at Marsh House I reckon a walking tour of Marsh Farm and the stories he could tell would make an absolutely brilliant video. He is brutally honest but such a positive people person. Personally people like Glenn being a thorn in the side of the council and government helped Marsh Farm so much.
@@dabro2080I remember reading about the riots and I think a big reason the estate gained its reputation. Also remember seeing a huge crime scene whilst visiting in sundon park behind the towers, believe it was an armed siege. I’m sure it’s a much better place to live now the estate looks much better with the towers renovated.
Bahaha ... what's this wave of "Luton is the worst town in the UK" vids all over youtube ? Tate and Tommy has made us famous. As a Lutonian for 37 years this is hilarious. I love my town. My family have businesses here. We've also had a business in St Albans back in the day. I guess even negative attention is good intention. Hopefully we get plenty more investment in the town. We've got a football club, university, airport, plenty of parks and sites all within a stone throw away. Easy access to London as well.
Certainly has a bad reputation , but I definitely see it improving gradually. Particularly the estates featured in the video. Good or bad I have mad love for the place 🧡
@tommydmo I think your an ace lad . But the demographics have shifted in the city and not in a good way . Any educated person can see it first hand all around the country. Who do I blame? The immigration services over the past 40 years . If your young white and Christian and plan on having children I would be trying to immigrate to Australia new Zealand or plenty of stable Christian countries in south America.
Yes, I would like to see more notorious locations as well as the well to do areas. So good to see Sharon out and about.
Good to see Sharon
Thank you for the tour.Love to see you guys out and about. I love seeing more of the neighborhoods.❤

I agree

Sad about the Warden 😔 you missed out Lewsey farm and the Ring🤜🏻🤛🏻
Very sad 😢 yeah should have done hockwell ring and lewsey for sure, maybe next time.
7:00 - Now it really is notorious

Bro if you ever get to the kenny on a game day you have to get to Norms for his Curry Goat
I’ll have to check out Norms never had it. It’s been a few years since I’ve been to a game at Kenny. Those tickets been hard to get.
