The Klein ratcheting 11 in 1 impact rated screwdriver has become my everyday carry. I swapped out the original bits with Milwaukee 11-1 bits because I preferred how they pair it up their number two Phillips with the larger of the two flatheads, and then I put an ECX2 bit in the magnetic bit holder. Carry around a 7/16 flip socket that you can put right into the klein impact handle and you are good to go.
You oughta try the Klein 11 in 1 Ratcheting Impact Screwdriver, it works as both a classic 11 in 1 as well as a bit holder and I've switched to using it as my main screwdriver from the Wera Kraftform Kompact
Lots of solid choices! I think the only time I've typically run into 11/32 is for fluorescent light ballast mounting, and RTU condenser fan motor mounting hardware.
Klein actually has a heavy duty pass through nut driver. Every size from 3/16 to 3/4 is pass through. Absolutely love it. Doesn’t leave my pouch. I wish i found your channel sooner….. i’ve lost so many wiha impact nut drivers because they’d fall out of my pouch on jobsites. I will be ordering the utility case
I come across 11/32 on square nuts often. If you want the best handle for a stiff bit holder wiha cerofix it's expensive but it's stiff and will handle anybut even 13mm jis. I own 4 of the vessel electric screwdrivers and everyone I work with has one simply works for low torque situations. I have 3 jis 3 speed ones (one in waist pouch one in tech pack and one in sbld quick bag). I'm glad you keep making videos and even if they don't do as well make the videos you want algorithms be darned!
Coming from a maintenance point of view and something that you should buy after you are established, I have to say PB Swiss for any screwdrivers or bits as well as Vessel. They both are some of the best I have ever used, with PB Swiss being first and Vessel second.
If you want a dedicated insulated screwdriver, Wiha has 3 different types of multibit screwdrivers, with the bits inside. I have the Klein you have in an entire kit, and it feels far better quality than the Milwaukee. IMO.
I like the ideal 11 (or so) in 1 with wire nut wrench in the back of the handle. As an older guy who has abused his hands over the years, it's a nice feature.
I carry my Wera Kraftform Kompact and Klein 7-1 as one all the time. Most of the time I'm just using it for the nut drivers, but it's handy to just grab that and a meter for a quick service call.
I despise the Klein flip sockets. I liked them a lot at first, when I had them in my tool bag. But when I had to start using them a lot at different jobs, they started to drive me crazy. The retention for the sockets wears out and makes the sockets loose. They catch against everything, especially the hole you put your impact into on the top of a ladder. Which results in the socket you need to use falling all the way to the ground. Only good if it's literally all you have, otherwise the matco nut drivers are better and avoid those problems, as well as actual nut drivers.
Only times I've ran into 11/32" doing any kind of electrical work has been when I used to work on fluorescent lights, ballast, and emergency lights in those in either 2x2 or 2x4 fixtures. I belive (it's been a long time back) it was for the ballast mounts.
I used my Wiha nut driver set inside my Wera bit holder and broke it. Wera bit holder cant handle that much torque. Now I just use my Vessel tang thru screwdriver for my wiha nut drivers.
I only run into 11/32" changing out light ballasts. The problem is that when you use a magnetic nut driver, it won't fit on the 11/32" nut because the shaft stick out too far and doesn't reach the nut. You have to use a hollow shaft nut driver for the 11/32" ballast nuts.
Have you ever tried the WERA insulated interchangeable screwdriver set? I was looking between the WERA and klein, but now I might be between the milwaukee too lol.
Hey bro, now that I know you’re a fellow firearms guy. Have you checked out the sets by Chapman Manufacturing specifically the Chapman MFG 5575 Master Screwdriver Set? They are made in the U.S. and are amazing. I prefer their set over my Wera tool check set.
@@ngsanfo7927Hey 👋 IBEW 558 here! Wera makes ni e stuff. Like most European brands it's all sized in metric. Look at their sets tour interested in and get you a imperial to metric chart to look up sizes. Look through the many sets they offer with a chart to decipher which set would suit your needs. From what I've seen in non-insulated they have pretty compatible sizes to like klein multi pack screwdriver 🪛 sets (individually drivers not multi-bit) I haven't decided what insulated set ill get from them but I'm pleased with my wera insulated 3.0mm (⅛") terminal screwdriver.
i was searching for a bit driver insulated and find this Crescent APEX CAEBH2C to combine with a vessel 230HW (really want a ball grip and impact for bad days) or ANEX 397 ratchet for compact EDC but just found out the ALLWAY SD41 its almost stubby, hope this info help anyone
The class klein 11in1 has saved my butt so many times over the years. I think everyone should at minimum own that tool for daily life.
The klein is magnet, I have seen many similar, but non are magnetic
I use the Klein double side insulated screwdriver everyday. Love it.

Imperial nuts/bolts/sockets are pretty specific to construction; nothing else uses them (not even American cars).

Really liking the nut driver set from Klein. Actually use it all the time and nice just being able to grab all them at once and throw in my pouch

Check out the Wiha 11-1. Basically the Klein 11-1 shaft & bits with a sweet Wiha handle. Great ergonomics and Made in USA 👍
Right now I’m experimenting with the Klein 32303 paired with the klein 6 in 1 flip sockets. Its a great pocket carry with an impact
Whia Slimline ( VDE rated ) , great in tight spots ( there are several handle options , standard , terminal , and stubby ) , and also the Speed E !

What about Lennox or Greenlee stuff, I’m a retired union commercial / industrial electrician and all I used was Klein, Greenlee, and Lennox tools
For a flip bit, I really like the craftsman 6 in 1 acetate handle. Very rugged with the classic craftsman handle
Wera insulated set is a nice set I use them rather than Milwaukee

Cool Video, Can you Review Wera Joker 6001 Switch set?
Klein released a new 9 in 1 hollow nut driver, an update to the 7 in 1. Its 100% pass through and is smaller than the 7 in 1
Check out PB Swiss they have a 3 way handle and it can come with TX, hex head, Philips etc blades and sockets up to 13mm.
I’ll put it on the list!
try out the klein hollow shaft nut driver multi tool
I'm probably going to buy it looks awsome
I can vouch for the awesomeness, it's great 👍
Why did I not know they had a hollow shaft
@americanelectrician definitely missing out, it's handy as hell!
Looking up the Klein nutdriver i saw they have one with a passthrough handle. Not sure I'd run into a bolt that long but that's really cool.
Yeah I didn’t realize they had hollow shafts. I need to pick up a set
@@americanelectrician I believe he means the klein 32809MAG. Keeps from having to carry a whole set more or less
11/32 is used a lot in commercial light fixtures
The Wera 006619 kit on KCTool might interest you.
Try out this screwdriver (twist a nut) it hase many features for electricians
my wera zyklop pocket driver's bit storage broke within 2 weeks of use :(
video of your hot work bag?
Which Wera screw driver would you recommend for a non insulated set? IBEW Local 11 District 1 member sounding off!
What’s up! I like there basic set if you like dedicated drivers but the multi driver is also great
@@americanelectrician yea I was looking at the sets, there’s just a lot of different options and it’s hard to tell the difference between them

Where do you buy that diablo butt plug from?
Imagine waking up to this comment
Try the wera turbo
That thing sucks as soon as you need some torque tho..
Check out a tool company by the name of PB Swiss. Promise you will ditch all other screwdrivers
Dont be foolish go klein ❤
Hahahaha there are a lot of Klein lovers for a reason
The Vessel electric screwdriver has no guts. Non-existent torque.
