Today i got Knotless age 52 haven't had my hair braided since i was 15 yrs old. Did it during the summer months. I feel bald its so freah thankful to see all the comments on how one felt getting the. I got them because my husband is taking me to Barbados and I wanted a island feel and my twin adult suggested Knotless. I feel alive. I have been natural for 4 yrs. So this is pivotal moment for me. Going out of my comfort zone. Thank you E and all those that offered great tips and suggestions. Amazing the items they now have sleep wear, shower wear to make have braids convenient & fun. Its not a burden or regret. I already had one of your two hair product suggestions. It pays to do research. I hart 💜 y'all ‼️💯👍

I had knotless braids for 2 months and I washed my scalp and hair because I sweat. It wasn’t an issue at all really. Yes the braids were heavy when they got wet but the drying time was incredibly fast. I think 45 minutes tops and my entire head was dry.

Dawn Stevens Nope. You will use more shampoo. But I would concentrate on your scalp. When you rinse it out let the shampoo run down the length of your braids as you are rinsing it out.

Here's a tip. Go to a salon, have them split the braids in two sections where the braids hang over the sides of the sink. At that point they can shampoo and condition your scalp. Take your preferred oils/ creams, apply to scalp, sit under the dryer 10-15 mins, and let air dry if needed.

hey! i just found your video and it was super helpful! i have curly hair that just hasn’t been growing because my hair is so fine 😭 and i did used to braid my hair, but since everyone was getting mad at white people with box braids, i switched to dreadlock extensions. it’s been helping my hair a lot but my scalp has been suffering a bit😩. in the dread community there isn’t the same focus on scalp and your natural hair care as there is with protective styling. i’m so glad i found your video and im e v to find the products and try them out for my scalp ♥️

Ladies, please, I wear braids once a year and I wash my hair every week.
The best way to keep your hair moist after washing is by spraying with leave in conditioner, massage your scalp use good products.
I don’t really understand when women say that they don’t wash their braids, higiene is important ladies!!!!!!
Make sure your braids smell great, avoid oils as these smell after a while because braids are synthetic (common sense right?)
And one precious advice ask your hairdresser not to tighten your hair, because that what’s cause breakage and damages the hair root.
Sleeping it’s not a problem for me, a pull the to the back and voila not a rocket science. 🧐🤨🤔🤪
