I’m getting knotless braids for the first time next week . I plan on keeping it for a month or a month and a half . Will wash every two weeks like I usually do
Thank you for this video. I have watched many RUclipsrs doing their hair in protected styles but don’t show you how to take care of your hair still in a protected style. So thank you for sharing.👍🏾❤️
Thank Jenn, when my hair was long I braided my on. Now that it's tapered. I am able to do twist or now finger coils, but thank you for your help. As always love this.🤗
Because I do my own hair I also do a deep condition in my braids with cholesterol treatments or any deep conditioner. If they frizz, I don't care because I can redo them over time. I only leave my braids in for a month tops so it doesn't hurt my feelings if they get raggedy. Planning my next styles as inspired by her gorgeous braids. I wish I could pull off the hair color.
you probably can pull off the color. I recently started braiding with color and i honestly can't say that it's been a bad experience. Some colors I previously thought wouldn't work, happened to compliment my skin tone just fine.
I appreciate this video...so detailed. Thank you! I am putting box braids in as I am watching this. Except mine are larger. I am thinking about trying that scalp elixir you are using.
I like the video. I don’t normally wash my hair in braids either. Too much work and I heard your the smells when it gets wet. Don’t know how true that is. But I do try to keep some kind of moisture ike water and conditioner on the braids and a little oil on the scalp and seems to be fine.
How often should i wash my box braids? every two weeks or every week? and how do i maintain it weekly? mousse or dry shampoo for weekly maintenance which is better?
Wish I had seen this before I washed my hair last week😞. Can I mix castor oil infused with coconut oil to my cantu shea butter leave in conditioner and water then apply it?

Hey this is unreleated to the video, but may I ask where did you get your pink vase, the flowers/ plants in it and the black woman picture frame you have in your background? I would like that for myself
Hopefully i am okay commenting. I just started box braids, knotless is how i like them. However, i usually don’t wash them. I work out at least 3-5 times a week and get super sweaty and can tell it irritates my head with my braids in. They only stay in for 3-4 weeks (i like changing my colors). Is there a simple way between braids to help with this…
More women need to wash their braided hair. What they may not realize is that others can smell when they don’t.
I wash my braids too . And it helps alot . I get less breakage and my hair comes out of the braids clean and shiny.
yessss
I washed my hair with the braids this morning😫😫😫 😭😭next time i will try your method. I follow all your advice and for the moment I am satisfied. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Your braids look so beautiful and your method of cleansing is great
Thanks! I’m getting knotless braids in a week and I want to keep them in as long as possible. This was helpful.

Love your energy, you’re lovely and so are your videos✨
Can you do a video where you explain what products you use before doing box braids/how you prepare you hair before doing box braid

I must try this wash method, seems easy and to the point
Such a good idea to use the moose.
Hey girl hey 💜💜 I've never been a fan of washing braids due to frizz and etc. I do use the dry shampoo tho.
Thanks for sharing!!
I don't wash my hair in braid but this is definitely a good routine
I don’t give mousse enough love in general ! 😊 Thanks for the video.
Me neither... but I have been heard some new ways of using it and I’m doing to experiment ❤️

Can you share how you tied your scarf?
Love the routine and especially the make-up
Thank you x
I'm going to do braids for the first time on myself. I want to keep them in for a while. My question is after shampooing should I re-dip them?
I don’t typically wash my hair while it’s in braids either 😫 I’m getting better tho lol
If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it 😉
I never do it either lol. I would literally just prefer to remove them altogether lol. I feel like the braids would be ruined after.

Love this !!! Can you please do a braids takedown video when you take your hair out?! :)
This was a beautiful video. Cleansing technique was great. ❤
I’ve never had braids but im going to get them soon. Does it matter what type of hair is used can all hair extensions in braids can get washed?
Yes
Do you just let it air dry? How long does it take?
Don’t the braids get heavy and pull on hair when soaking wet?
The does get heavier but that’s why I tie my hair down right after to alleviated the weight on my edges 😉
I was thinking the same thing. So I am thinking of buying one of those large heavy hair nets to leave on when washing my hair.
Hey girl💗💗...Love ur hair and ur content so much 🔥🔥
Thank you Love x
What was the name of the spritz and hair oil elixir?
My favorite shampoo 😍

idk about the flower/plants but the black woman picture frame is from anayaarts.ca. Their inst handle is @anaya.arts

I love love your work! ❤❤❤
Do you think an ACV hair rinse would work instead of shampoo?
I apply castor oil directly to my scalp whilst it’s in box braids
Is that moisture and does it help to grow?
oils don’t moisturise your scalp, only water can do that☺️
Thanks so much for this tutorial!!
I may have missed, but do you just air dry?
Jen, would you please link the products?
It’s in the description box love
Thanks girl, that was really helpful 👌🏾
What do you use for laying your edges?
Did you dry your hair ?
Thank you for this
Will use!
Love the braids especially the color
Hey Jenn
Nice video
So you just let it air dry.
Doesn't smell or something
Fourth yaay
