I remember watching this video last year I was sick and told myself I have to watch it again when I’m feeling better because what got my attention was the tomato gravy and Gigi talking about her life. Gigi was real we don’t see people like her anymore. I don’t want to let go and believe she’s gone. I could imagine her children. Chole keep her alive by sharing her videos for just watching her cheers me up. 🤗🥰❤️

Chloe here's a great cookbook "How to make your own mixes. Make-a-Mix Cookery." This way you can make your own mixes without having to buy boxed ready made mixes. You store all your mixes in containers and you only have to add wet ingredients. Each dry mix makes about 20+ different recipes. Way better than Jiffy. :)

❤ absolutely LOVED this video! It has to be my all time favorite video so far! Chloe, you did such a great job filming and your comments, music'was awesome. Great job!! also your mom Gigi is a jewel, !! so entertaining, so, fun so interesting! This was amazing to watch! Like, your mom Gigi, my mom was a southerner , from lawndale NC,( my dad from NYC, where I was born raised) he was Italian (, lil French ) my Mom was one of 13 kids!! Her parents were also sharecroppers, farmers who worked the farm with all the kids , in return they lived in their house. We have so much in common. !! My mom, her mom always made your": tomato gravy" but she called it "Hot Tom" made same way except she'd add crushed red pepper, with the black pepper, they like myself like spicy lol. Its wonderful what great cooks you both are,( in addition to your store! Please make more of these type videos! I'm still not good at biscuits lol, my husband used to say he'd use them for blocks in our wrought iron steel business Haha! Thanks so much for this fantastic new video!!❤ love you sweet , funny ladies!!❤💖

Looks yummy.i grew up in Germany and my mom cooked and baked everything from scratch too. She made a grits recipe with sugar instead of salt,and we topped it with fresh fruit.yumm.

That southern comfort breakfast looks wonderful! Do you know my parents were born and raised in the south, Tennessee. My dad was in the Air Force and I have one sister! My mom could not cook so I taught myself and my favorite things are french recipes. I loved watching Julia Child and Martha Stewart in my early years, lol. The first thing I watched Martha do was a whole turkey en croute’!!! 😊

Susan, please add your best FRIED GREEN TOMATOES to your cooking shows. My mother was a Southern gal and we often had grits and true Southern style cornbread (never sweet!) Everything looks delish! You need your own cooking show channel! ❤
Forgot to mention Pimento Cheese & Mayo Sandwiches. Mom and I think they are a great snack. Ate them growing up in East Texas and then bought at Breaux Mart in River Ridge. Suburb of New Orleans. We are still enjoying them here in Natchez, MS. Lived in both places after Katrina. Enjoy your videos so much. Watched Lily first and now watch both! 🤗

Pimentos are just boiled skinned red bell pepper. They get stuffed in olives for martinis but red bells are awesome sautéed, whatever. I add them to fried eggs or when I grill up sausage. Massive fiber and vitamin C if you eat like a whole one. 👍💃
