People were surprised when it was revealed in DB Diama episode 11 that the multiverse creation started from the request of the Supreme Demon King from the Demon realm. To OG fans this won't be as surprising as we already know from DB that there was always a connection between the Demon realm and Gods, which was never explored until now.
One of the issues with Shin is that while he does deliver a warning and thus allows the heroes to combat the threat, he's quickly overshadowed training-wise by the old supreme kai, as Gohan learns little from Shin and only learns Ultimate from the Old Supreme Kai, that being the only thing he learns from the Old Supreme kai, and he only got a boost in strength at best from Shin. It also doesn't help that Gohan ends up losing to Super Buu and is absorbed by him; thus, all that training amounts to nothing. While Shin has a fair go going for him, it doesn't help that his introduction and all the minor good things he's done are followed and overshadowed by immediate and major failures, especially with him saving Gohan and at least giving him a minor boost in strength from sword training amounts to nothing when Gohan is absorbed by Buu and later killed. So in that regard, Shinn's potential and usefulness is wasted by the writing.
I think after the fight with Majin Buu and whatever ends up happening in Daima, Goku got cocky and considered himself the most powerful in the universe, especially after the zenkais he got from the fight with Buu and some light training he did afterwards. When Beerus proved to be so far ahead of him it was humbling. That's one of the biggest flaws Goku has as a character, his overconfidence and fearlessness when he's around beings stronger than him, especially those divine in nature. It happened with Popo, Kami, King Kai, the Supreme Kai, the Elder Supreme Kai and eventually with Beerus.
I don't think this is a flaw instead I see this change in Goku's behavior as a consequence of his Saiyan heritage. In DB and the first arc of DBZ, Goku relied mostly on Roshi's philosophy but encountering the Saiyans made Goku re-think who he was and after Freiza saga he started to embrace his Saiyan side more and more and by the time of Super, he accepted it fully. Vegeta and even both of their sons, have these exact flaws.
I agree 💯 I think King Kai 👑 is the one who gave Goku most fundamental training camp of his life. Goku learned Kaikoen with King Kai , high intensity trainings with multiplied gravity and genkidama. When he came back to fight against Nappa and Vegeta his speed, strength and skills were incomparable to his level when he fought Radditz (I would also add as an honorable mention Kami and Mr Popo who trained Kid Goku and helped him improve)
Sending Gohan as a sacrifice was a strategically smart move. Henchmen gathered a lot of energy with one swoop so they could quickly go back to base and therefore Kaioshin could follow them quicker. That would mean Kaioshin learnt about Cell Games and SSJ 2. Later, he admitted that he underestimated Saiyans, but it's true, they exceeded their Cell Games levels greatly and the god had right to miss that. Major detail, but detail.
I don’t believe goku fully failed beerus’ test on king Kai’s planet. It was the first glimpse of ultra instinct and how his power can keep growing in leaps through transformations.
Another absolutely amazing video. Have you ever read dorohedoro or Dai dark? Those are some good mangas I’ve read and Netflix even has one season of the former but I don’t know if the anime will ever come back
Goku being as strong as he is during his fight with Vegeta in the Saiyan arc means that if Earth had ten times gravity then he would have had a way easier time winning.
Well, technicaly goku became a god after the super sayan god ritual, because he absorbed the power of the super sayan god into his base form, therefore he has god ki, which in turn makes him a god by definition
God level is beyond ridiculous in Dragon Ball considering the goalpost keeps changing All the characters are god level during the Saiyan saga yet more powerful gods keep showing up to invalidate the previous ones and power scaling

King Kai is 10 × Goku prior to eating the King Yemma fruit that doubled his power level halfway through his traversing Snakeway. That means King Kai is 4160 or half the 8320 that Goku gains upon mastering 10 × Earth gravity. Goku later mastering 100 × Earth gravity to get 90000 as his power level indicates full mastery at 1 × Earth gravity = 900 points of power level. Vegeta mastering "450 times normal(for Saiyans) gravity" means 4500 times planet Earth gravity, rendering 4050000 points of power level is what Vegeta reached just before aaakenimg the 50 × base power he got as a Super Saiyan. Means Vegeta reached 202.5 million(or 1.35 × Ssj Goku of Namek) when he faced off against the cybirg called "android 18." Goku told post Hyperbolic Time Chamber Vegeta he would have had to triple his previous power to stand a chance against second form Cell, Vegeta smirks and then lets Goku sense his supressed power to reveal he did exactly what Goku said he needed to do; reached 12.15 million in base power level and 607.5 million as Super Saiyan, making him have 7.5 million points more than second form Cell. Vegeta didn't even need to buff up in overcharging his ki as he did to awaken the nameless variant which fans call "Super Saiyan Grade 2" much less the other nameless variant which fans named "Super Saiyan Grade 3." So called "Super Saiyan Grade 2" is just Super Saiyan + one basic deviation in power, the same as a full power Zenkai boost or 1.333... times the basic 50 = 66.6... times his 12.15 base of the time to get 810 million. So called "Super Saiyan Grade 3" would boost the basic Super Saiyan power boost by phi aka the golden ratio, because they use golden ki/intent to power up their nervous system as Super Saiyans. That's 1.61803399 × 50 × 12150000 = 983 million, which Future Trunks let out when he faced "Perfect Cell" only to realize "Perfect Cell" is 10 times the power level of Frieza as he was prior to becoming a Cyborg, which means 120 million × 10 = 1.2 billion. Cell later gets a Zenkai in the fight agains Gohan and arrives at 1.6 billion, the same power as Super Saiyan 2 Gohan, because base form Goku and Gohan were at 16 million after the Hyperbolic Time Chamber training. 16 million × 100 = 1.6 billion, which is half the power of both Majin Vegeta in Ssj 2 and Goku in Ssj2, Fat Buu has that same power level but infinite ki because magic that lets him revive from being blown up in Vegeta's sacrifice. Take that 3.2 billion and multiply by 4, as that is the difference between Ssj2 and Ssj3, and you get the 12.8 billion of Ssj3 Goku who still needed the Spirit Bomb to take out Kid Buu who is 10 × power level of "Super Perfect Cell" at 16 billion not the 24 billion of Daizenshuu with its mostly irrational numbers.

So, is the cat god working because he is not involved in most conflicts?
That sounds a lot like the legacy character in my novel.
Now we know Goku is truly tied to the Dragon Balls, hence the series name, because Bardock canonically wished for Goku to live a good life.
