There has also been a time when Nene and Subaru would do that in the beginning, but eventually stopped. I'm actually doing PT to try and get into shape and for those that are trying to do the same to lose weight, I have 2 tips: 1) Don't set a numerical goal, like, "I will get down to XX lbs/kg/stone/etc. There will reach a point where you will actually start gaining weight again rather than losing because as you're building muscle, those muscles are denser than body fat and thus weigh more. 2) Try not to weigh yourself more than once a month. If you make it a weekly thing, you can set yourself up for being discouraged because you won't see much change or will see yourself going up after a week of losing. Your body has so many different factors to take into account: what you're wearing, have you eaten yet today, for the women is it that time of the month, water weight (yes that does contribute), etc. Your body can go through so many changes in just a short amount of time. For me, I have my monthly weigh in on the first Sat of each month, helps me keep a clear checkpoint.
#2 is so true and so relatable to a degree and something most people don't take into account. Although.. I do weigh myself everyday more as a general reference point rather than an absolute number goal. I legit can go up (or down) 3-7lbs in a day just in water weight and/or how much I consumed the day before (I always weigh myself after taking a shower, so no clothes, after using the bathroom, and before breakfast to try to eliminate those variables..), so instead of a point on a line, I have a little segment of a line of "approximately where I am". I more see it in that, after a month, if that 3-7lb variance is averaging 5lbs lower than I was a month ago, then I might be making progress! (ie: in October, a daily weigh-in would be 235-241lb range, now it's 229-236lb range) As long as people use numbers as a frame of reference rather than an endgoal, using the scale to vindicate the hard work put in could be a great positive reinforcement! But, everyone's different mentally.. just as everyone's different physically in their dietary needs and all that, lol.

Start going to a gym and actually working out, and you'll wonder how water bottles ever felt like training. Squats solved my back problems from sitting around all day.
150 squats... 70 was my absolute limit when I was at my best, 150 would just kill me.
5 sets of 30 make it pretty manageable.
