- Marvel Studios has made an official X-Men decision and announcement as the move forward with their new X-Men movie for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige and Marvel have officially hired a writer for the new X-Men MCU film! The new X-Men movie is believed to be coming out before Avengers Secret Wars, and could even be set in the universe that we saw Beast in, in the X-Men post credit scene of The Marvels.

Kang prime wipes out the council of kangs in avengers 5 and transfers the avengers to battleworld and then he conquers this x-men universe and moves them to battleworld which leads to secret wars
And then another Big Bad like Doom appears and kills Kang Prime(Giancarlo) to establish how badass he is and dangerous
Like The Fantastic Four this should be our new X-Men cast that’ll eventually join the MCU post Secret Wars! For sure Storm and Jean must lead the film! X-Men ‘97 is peak and they’re dynamic is beautiful
jean?? wtf are talking about? Prof X is the founder and mentor, Scott is the leader and storm is second with wolverine as the third, and recently rogue as a fourth. That's the hierarchy of leadership in the xmen comics , and then you have the other xteams like xfactor and xforce led by other characters like cable, and havok

Team: Storm (leader), Colossus, Rogue, Gambit, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Wolverine (end of movie debut to fight Sabertooth) Warpath, Shadowcat.
Plot: OG Xmen (Cyclops, Jean, Iceman, Angel, and Beast) are kidnapped on Krakao and need saving.
Movie begins with Vulcan and co being slaughtered in front of the OGs. Scene to Xavier talking to Moria about hoping to trust the "bad mutants" hes been watching, to help him after his first idea failed. Zoom to Storm, Warpath, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Psylocke and Gambit already there in the living room bickering telling Xavier they dont need a plan to save his precious team and that they dont take orders, and are just in it for money; besides Shadowcat that is going to be an actual student. Knock at the door and its Rogue with Captain Marvels powers, begging for help and protection from the Avengers, and her mother. Then Xavier starts plotting on what just fell into his lap and agrees to fix her in exchange for saving his Xmen with her new powers. Before they could even get to the jet, they're ambushed at the mansion by the Brotherhood. And then everyone is ambushed together by the Avengers and Sentinels.
Magneto arrives and fights the Sentinels telling Xavier to go save his mutants because they will be needed in the war againt humanity.
While on the run in the jet, Xavier decides he needs Emma Frost to complete his team and then he taps into her mind and she gives him a run for his money.
Villains: Emma Frost (After Xavier tried to recruit her then fucked around and found out)
Brotherhood: (Mystique, Blob, Avalanche, Sabertooth, Pyro, Scarlett Witch?, Quicksilver) Tryna beat the Xmen ass and get Rogue back.
The Avengers: For cosigning the Sentinel project and trying to get Rogue from the Xmen for puting Carol in a coma.
Xmen get saved last 15 min of movie to show how ruthless this new team is and settinf up for Sinister and new team dynamics for movie 2.
Movie ends with Magneto wishing Rogue well and warning Xavier that theres more to come from the goverment and mankind.
The dude wrote a completely underrated gem called Macbeth, which I think is highly underrated! I know there's like an Assassin's Creed film he has a writing credit on but I heard that movie had a horrible production with a lot of Studio interference so I honestly don't blame him for that. Plus, I really enjoyed the new Hunger Games movie, so I think this is a good get for an X-Men movie!

I need to collect the X-Men Epic Collections because I can't control my excitement for the X-Men's inclusion to the MCU.
I would love to see the Dazzler from the very first pilot for the X-Men animated series “Pryde of the X-Men.” She was basically the first Rogue of the team: Feisty (in a good sense), athletic and always ready for action. And I love her custom (basically the early 80s version of Rogue’s).
As long as the writing is similar to Xmen 97 I'll be happy.

Right..I remember when my brother and I were young fellas and collecting comics, we both had our favorites.
I had my sights set on Iron Man, Daredevil, Fantastic Four,Capt America,Hulk & The Thing (his solo series from the FF). , and then my brother grabbed an issue of this new breed back then called “The Uncanny X-Men”.
I thought they were weird at first, but my brother was totally committed and was all in.
I don’t remember when Wolverine was introduced, but he was responsible for me getting into the XMen too then, so my older brother was glad I started to like them too.
After the initial hesitation, I finally got into them too, but they still would not unseat my first faves, but they were fun to read.
If we had taken care of our comics, we would have some valuable hobby stock, but we read and used them so much, they just didn’t collect them back in the 70’s etc, to the extent of throwing an issue in plastic right off the bat and never even read them.
I just thought some of you may enjoy a comic fans perspective that showed how much fun comic trading and collecting used to be.
The differences being these days having plastic sleeves and back then, you woulda said what’s that for? Ha
When we started seeing these live action show’s beginning with Iron Man, we reverted back to our childhood, and saying what would we have been like being able to see our favorite comic characters come to life on the screens.
Late fifties now and still a fan, can’t wait to see Wolverine and Deadpool. Hugh Jackman back, and although he may not be the 616 Wolverine, I am curious to see a different side of Logan that I haven’t with this being a variant.

I still think that Marvel shouldn't keep x men 97 as the benchmark that they have to meet in the first movie itself. That show practically fit in stories worth multiple movies in 10 episodes.
Live action works differently. It beed more time to establish characters ajd plot elements and make us connect to the characters. And all this has to be done in the time less than that available for animated stuff to be told.
I LOVE the fact that they might approach the new X-Men film the same way as the new F4 movie. We’ve already seen the origin stories, just bring them to the MCU!!
The X-Men as a whole have a unique advantage in this scenario. They can all be built up like how the Avengers were, which would extend the life of the MCU vastly. Or they can have their core team established already due to the fact they have been seen on screen before (even if it'll be different, there's general continuity). Also the original series and '97 were great successes as a whole. Personally, I'd like to see the team already formed and we see new and beloved characters join as the films progress. Super excited to see what happens!

Hoping for good renditions of Storm, Emma Frost, Forge, and Cyclops this go-around. Hopefully we go Krakoan with post-MCU arc

I feel like individual origins would be too long a wait for x-men together. Maybe pairing them up? Eg Beast and Xavier, cyclops and Jean, kitty and colossus.

If the x-men is from another universe then they should have no wolverine and have cyclops be leader, because we can have hugh jackman Wolverine
The official ‘MCU’ Wolverine will be a younger guy; they’ll want someone who can play the character for 12 or so years and 55 year old Jackman may not be willing to and able to do this.
Hugh Jackman should not be the MCU wolverine. We need someone newer and to make a new take on wolverine. We don't need the same people playing the same characters for all eternity.
In my opinion I would say Hugh jackman should stop playing wolverine after secret wars, I'm not saying Hugh jackman should play him for eternity but until mcu reboots after secret wars

I honestly hope The Fantastic Four and X-Men are NOT from other universes, it would be much better if they were organically in the MCU and both of them taking place in an alternate universe just doesn’t feel right.
MCU can't multiverse. If they did it right you'd understand that every universe is an alternate universe - - - but too hard for their simped out writers, so...
It would be cool if that were the case in general. But we've gone this long with not even a small callback or reference to the F4 or X-Men until very recently. If it happened even if it was very vague (Fox rights), itd make sense but another universe and with the Multiverse saga happening now. It's the best way to do it imo

But yeah, I hope they end up on the same planet and universe once it's all said and done after SW. If it stays separate thats going to be pretty hard to sell

With how big these films are getting I do not think that the MCU will be soft rebooted that easily. I think we may get a hard reboot of sorts if that is the case given how much is coming into the already established MCU.
IF THEY WERE SMART!!!!! They would do Origin Story’s as a TV series for ALL characters being introduced, instead of Marvel Presentation… Marvel Origins: (Character Name)… 1 hour/1hr 30 special, same actor same character, beginning/introduction stories. Each phase will have at least 1 or 2 for the new characters coming
After how great and the huge success of X-Men 97 I have very little faith that they’ll be able to surpass or even break even with that show. I hope so, but I doubt it at this point

He has done some good movies and if working with feige and maybe consulting with the animated team I think we will be in good hands

Assassin's Creed was an ok movie I like it.
i think in live action it should be the same line up as x-men 97 or start off with original x-men then bring in wolverine, storm, nightcrawler and colossus. Either way i can't wait for the x-men.
I personally think they should build towards their x-men movie. Do solo projects for Wolverine, Rogue, Professor x & and Magneto, storm, cyclops & jean grey.
However if they start off with a solo x-men movie then i think they should start with OG members like cyclops, storm, jean grey and beast. Have wolverine, jubilee and rogue enter later.

I think if they do the story of Xmen Legends 1. They could pull off a great story. Have the main fight be against Magneto, with Trask as a side villain. Asteroid M and Master Mold ends up at final battle location and final fight, respectively.
I know I’ve heard rumors of Sinister being the main villain of the first film. I think a great idea of way of bringing him could have him “partner” with Trask in order to have the Sentinels be his weapon in this film. He could be the reason that Master Mold itself made it on Asteroid M before Magneto took it off planet. I hope that he’s after Angel in order for Avengers 5 to be Avengers vs Xmen so that we can see the Apocalypse story play out.
Marvel won’t be able to finish the stories they have in mind by the end of Secret Wars. I think it’s going to be the start of a “final phase” 7 in order to get all the stories told that they need to tell.
I’d like to see a mix up of the original and the all new X-Men lineup. Storm, Thunderbird, Nightcrawler and Colossus deserve to be in the first MCU X-Men. Wolverine should be saved for the sequel and he should have a standalone or Hulk vs Wolverine first before joining the team.
I wonder if they will include Rogue and Gambit too.
Thunder Bird would be nice addition and SunFire.
Another mutant I would like to see is Darwin. With powers that he can adapt and survive anything, he wasn’t given a chance to do what he does on the field. So I’d like to see him in action.
The X-Men still need to come for Wanda after what happened to Professor X in MOM film. 😊
Never seen any of the writer's films, but I'm hyped. Hopefully it's happening after Secret Wars. I'm sure there will be other writers to have a script take and they have to find a director who might have some input too.

Why does it have to be just one writer ? Why not have Michael Waldron and the writers for Deadpool and Wolverine work together ? These are my honest questions and opinions.
Mutants crossing over in to universe that don’t have them could be the perfect set up for things like the mutant registration act and the MRD. It could be a good reason for why everyone is afraid of them and discriminating against mutants but not discriminating against heroes like captain america and iron man
