I believe they have already met and seen their videos: twitter.com/twosetviolin/status/985385237910728704?lang=en Would be cool though if they did a collab.
The genius of this duo is that they turned a very simple descending fifth sequence into a very funny chronicles of different genres of music. I would say they somewhat outdid what Pachelbel had done!
LOVE IT!!!! This is what the arts is all about. We all know that they both can play very well, but it doesn't have to be serious all the time, sometimes all you need to do is have fun.
Goes to show that when you are super talented like these two, you can be ridiculously outrageous without losing your ingenuity. I was expecting a zombie to come out from the piano and rabit rats to come scurrying down his shorts ....but that didn't happen. tehehe :) Bravo!!! Love these duo!!!
Somehow stumbled across this whilst looking for Boismortier, so glad I did! How has it managed to get so many dislikes dumbfounds me. Brilliant to see such clever use of music, performance and comedy - together with a coffee whisker :-)
RhythmAddictedState There is a version of this that they performed in Russia, the accent is even stronger there.. He does all the 'a' sounds 'ie', like pietrified, spiece, fiece, etc...
Они крутые музыканты, много раз был на Концерте, просто супер. И удалось по общаться, просто супер одно удовольствие. Ребята ставьте тут лайк кто русский читает👍😎
I love how that man improvised with that scrub brush on the instruments. Haha! Those two men work very well together! XD Especially the parts where they sing together.
Pieces I caught: I will survive, little Stayin' alive call out, the Final Countdown, If it takes forever I will wait for you (really cool at that speed), teeny quote of the revolutionary etude in the piano during the bridge after "if it takes forever", Vivaldi Rv 315 "Summer" (mvt 3, presto), and finally back to I will survive.
Seen live in Berlin, Germany. It was the first time I whiteness that a whole concert hall is laughing. It's great that they both speak German with almost no accent.
:19 - That awkward moment when you realize you forgot to put on pants before walking onto the stage... Haha! I have no idea how the audience managed to not piss themselves laughing!
Congrats on your ears! It's subtle in this audience. But, in fact, when Aleksey's family first emigrated to the place it was mostly to unlearn clapping: www.linguee.com/english-german/translation/clap+your+hands.html
This is music. It's not about who's the better player, who has the better experience or has the better instrument. It's about bringing joy and all the people together and having fun. This is music... and thats why i love it.
Music the art of expressing madness on stage without getting fired...I thought I was good at violin and piano until these two jumped on stage to crush my self-steem
SPOILER: How many other tunes are subtly worked into the song here? I can hear The Inspector Clousseau Theme, "If it takes forever, I will wait for you". Staying Alive, a bit of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, etc.
I was already cracking up during Igudesman's solo, then Joo came in with his part and I just crumbled and laughed so hard my mom came in and was like "WHAT HAPPENED?!" Why? Cuz I was sprawled laughing my guts out >w
really was the best combination of two instruments more difficult, and you have a talent that makes the envy of any alien musician. you are very good. Congratulations!

HAHAHAHAA IKR
Still a LOST! xd
Yes, really good
Really good
Me too. Highlight of the video. I think it's intentional but I'm not sure.
"I Will Survive" ALWAYS needed a Russian accent. I just never know that was what it was missing until this moment.
We need TWO SET VIOLIN TOO REACT TO THIS COME ON GUYS HELP ME HERE
I believe they have already met and seen their videos: twitter.com/twosetviolin/status/985385237910728704?lang=en
Would be cool though if they did a collab.
YES
Agreed

Come back after 13 years. This never gets old.

It’s up there as one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

My brother sent me this video in 2013 and i still love this performance so much!
This has already become a legend that doesn’t decay after a decade!
This is a masterpiece!!! Proof great music can be enjoyed and interpretating by anyone and doesnt have to be so serious
This is actually both comedic and very touching. I would have mistaken it for a real classical piece if I didn't know this was I Will Survive.
Saw this back when it came out and I'm back again now in 2023 wow love this still
SO FUNNY THE FACES THAT MAKES THE VIOLIN GUY!!... SUPER NICE SHOW!!

One word to this talent: AWESOME!!
Somehow stumbled across this whilst looking for Boismortier, so glad I did!
How has it managed to get so many dislikes dumbfounds me.
Brilliant to see such clever use of music, performance and comedy - together with a coffee whisker :-)
1:35 That Russian accent though.
I think he purposedly pronounced the lines that way..
罗逍然 Haha, it's pretty obvious! :D I found out he's a Russian violinist, that's why his Russian accent is flawless.
RhythmAddictedState

And his face is pretty Russian-looking too!

Everyone is laughing but this is kinda 🔥🔥🔥
Seen live in Berlin, Germany. It was the first time I whiteness that a whole concert hall is laughing. It's great that they both speak German with almost no accent.
i could just imagine this in an old Dracula movie being performed around a Gypsy camp fire, great crossover. pure comedy genius

BleedingBambi It's actually in Austria.
