Something i didn't hear mentioned in the video that is worth a shout out. You have 2 delayed damage abilities in this setup (3.5 second for curse and 2 seconds for Crushing weapon). If your opponent is good at staying healthy you have the option to do arguably the BEST burst damage in the game. Curse, crushing weapon, crystal frag, overload light attack and streak / dawnbreaker can ALL hit in a single GCD (light attack and frag travel time lines up with streak or dawnbreaker). This is something like 60k tooltip damage in one GCD. You have to be aware of the setup but it's really strong burst.
with cat i was thinking to get more crit like order wrath but despite having wretched it probably huge hit on defense my magica NB bit over 20k pen, spinners and order wrath sets, light, 1 in cyrodiil killed me with 1 light attack lol, does good damage but also takes good damage :D
i mixed and matched in a way that i could have the clockwork trial staff and all the other sets to, i think the boost to force shock could be good, no mythic
Not actual reaults, dont waste tour time grinding any of it out. The red flag shloud of been when you seen that penetration. Theres no absolute way that a fully critted dawnbreaker will do more than 2k dmg without at least 16k pen.
Im confused on the whole front bar back bar explanation. I dint have a relic so thats one issue. But why would you have 5/5 alfiq front bar, then lose it on back bar 3/5? Why would you want you mag pool to constantly fluctuate 3k or so? And for back bar wretched vitality, and having only 3/5 on the front. Again whats to gain from this setup? And when it says for the 4th and 5th peice of wretched vitality, ( applying buffs on a target) doesnt that mean applying buffs abd debuffs to other players? And not yourself? Thus you wouldnt even be reaping the rewards of the 4th and 5th peice on the back bar with your allocated skills? Safe to say im confused on how these sets are making their full uses. Sure your stats are great but.. any takers wanna explain how this whole 3/5 stuff on the bars is helping during swaps
I've been a mag sorc main since beta. And dammit I miss the days where I could have 45k+ mag, 2500-3k mag recovery and 3.2k spell dmg without even trying hard to max out a build with golds and yet still somehow easily push 45-55% crit rating
same sets as u have and i don't have 48k magica, my magica stays in the 30k, 30k-36k cant remember the numbers, i don't get 48 not even with food. maybe close to 40, so my shield is also below 20k, maybe something got nerfed or ur using really expensive food, mine gives 5k max 3k-5k depending what i can get, in cyrodiin i use the cyrodiil food cause that's cheap and i am cheapscake

@@Hoarcrux inner light don't give crit chance it give +20% damage but no crit, i use it, i tell you with this build(stuff and competences) i have 15%crit damage with a dark elf but i don't think any race have a passive who give crit damage
Another thing you can do is swap out resolving vigor since you get a passive minor resolve from bound aegis and shield was buffed with a heal. Put ele sus on your back bar and crushing shock rather than crushing weapon if you don’t have psyjic or wanna try it. I tried both set ups and I personally find crushing shock and ele sus to be a lot better. Crushing shock also scales off your max mag.
It’s all about timing your crushing shock with haunting/overload and a frag, and having too many timers can sometimes be overwhelming. I feel it’s easier rather than waiting for another timer (crushing weapon) to go off, you basically have one of the easiest controllable burst and it doesn’t eat up your stam, so dark conversion shield streak all day for defensive :)
Just got back to eso after a 4 month break. You're video helped me alot with my build. I started out pretty much copying your build, i always wanted to incorporate major breach into a mag sorc build and free up a slot. I pretty much use the same exact skills. Then I started tinkering around with different front bar sets and food buff. Ended up with shattered fate front bar with the lover. Had to change attributes to 32 mag and 32 stam. Jewels of misrule. I accidentally built a health sorc with 32k health 30kish mag and about 18k stam. 17k pen before buffs. I was really hesitant about the build to but it hits hard and decent survivability. Oh back bar wretched of course. Thanks though I'll keep tinkering with it I know it can hit harder. Tested in no cp bgs so idk its performance outside of that.

I run Kvatch Gladiator in lieu of WV. I love the glass cannon feel and it still have a decent balance in sustain. Using that vamp ult completely destroys peeps in BGs because of that extra health, stam, and mag of 10k each. Really brutal. I recommend aying around with KG set.
Because inner light increases your max mag on your front bar as well as the images guild passives. You want the most mag on the bar where your hardened ward is. In this case, the backbar max mag is irrelevant
Ahhh okay explains it also I basically copy and pasted this and my recoveries with a potion are only about 1k health and mag is this because im not actively in pvp. Sorry for the questions just haven't played in a long time.
it appers to me that the only way to proc wrechted vitality with this skill line up is to instantly bar swap before the crushing weapon auto hits. Is this due to changes in the game or was this the intended playstyle ? All the buffs that you can apply on yourself do NOT trigger wretched vitality... do you have any updates or solutions for this build?
My problem with the sorc is it doesn't do enough damage. I would love to see endless fury Work as a spammable / Execute I play in imperial city and they eat shards down there
Been absolutely loving the OG Magsorc build you put up a few months ago, no matter what class I play, I always go back to it, by far my favourite playstyle, so gonna give this a try looks just as fun if not better :D Thank you for the build yet again!
@@mlzy242 The passive for the 5 stack of orbs that launch and the passive to reduce the cost of the ability are both very useful (then the damage shield when blocking with it on your bar isn't critical but it's a slight added defense).

One thing I noticed is the Ice staff on your backbar. As you dont run ele sus a bow would be more ideal for open world. The higher chc and free maj expedition on dodgeroll could be come in pretty handy. I also looked on running bow frontbar to capitalize on the spec leaning towards chc/chd but the flat damage loss and lowerd status effect application compared to lightning staff may in the end not being worth it. Your thoughts on this?

@@paoktaison11yes khajit works on any class! Dark elf also! More dmg with khajit, better survival with dark elf or go imperial! Imperial will work very well with hybrid/stam/mag its the bread and butter!
There's really not much point in Dark Elf anymore. If you want raw damage go with High Elf and spec into mag. You get some hybrid sustain too. If you want slightly better mobility and stam sustain when sprinting go Orc. You'll also get a tiny heal which is important since sorcs needs every source of healing they can find. Dark Elf is strictly if you like the looks.

I run Rallying Cry front on High elf and resto back with healing ward. Healing Ward heals way better than vigor when you stack with hardened plus it gives you access to Major Mending and resto ult, which you could take the Major Force morph if you desire. I also run Enless Fury over inner light, and Arcan Supremacy slottable cp in the blue tree. The other reason for Crushing Weapon is the Energized passive which increases your physical and shock damage. Thought it was worth mentioning since it actually tooltips higher than it should due to that passive. The only reason I do this is because, no matter how often I try, I can not get used to Curse back and hardened front.
My absolute favorite combo for long range or runners is curse, execute, light attack frag, and then proccing Crushing Weapon to the light attack that you sent out prior to frags. It pops entire health bars all at once.

Ummmmm if you can’t heal on a sorc with crit surge and vigor then I’d say it’s the player not the game.. js I main sorc and have a lot of friends who are way better then me. The heals are fine.

Run a bow back bar, slot hurricane on back bar. This gives you major and minor endurance. I dont run vigor. Swap death dealers for pale order, run the blue cp that heals your for 7% of direct damage. I prefer shooting star over dawnbreaker. Streaking into a meteor is the most fun part of the build. Then run balorghs or blood spawn. I run crit pots. Also bow back bar also helps with stam regen. I also might be in your stamsorc video

That combo has never done 60k in one gcd maybe up to 25k-30k but definitely not 60k.

crit surge and dark deal proc the backbar set, and the alfiq's is just for the ward stacking so its fine on front bar alone
ward takes from max health not magica so i think boosting HP is stronger ward then magica

Inner light will give you crit chance, light armor, racial passive etc.

How does crushing weapon apply minor breach? The tool tip only indicates major breach.
Crushing does not, the "absorb stamina" enchant does however have a high chance to

I do find myself blocking allot when shields are down. Just my opinion, bow is fine too and you can get stamina back that way too!

Crit surge applies a major buff and vigor applies a minor.

Im confused on the whole front bar back bar explanation. I dint have a relic so thats one issue. But why would you have 5/5 alfiq front bar, then lose it on back bar 3/5? Why would you want you mag pool to constantly fluctuate 3k or so?
And for back bar wretched vitality, and having only 3/5 on the front. Again whats to gain from this setup? And when it says for the 4th and 5th peice of wretched vitality, ( applying buffs on a target) doesnt that mean applying buffs abd debuffs to other players? And not yourself? Thus you wouldnt even be reaping the rewards of the 4th and 5th peice on the back bar with your allocated skills?
Safe to say im confused on how these sets are making their full uses. Sure your stats are great but.. any takers wanna explain how this whole 3/5 stuff on the bars is helping during swaps

Ummmmm if you can’t heal on a sorc with crit surge and vigor then I’d say it’s the player not the game.. js I main sorc and have a lot of friends who are way better then me. The heals are fine.
@@IndorilN I never said anything about why sorc has to be played with a shield. It does not. Is it the smarter option, sure. All I said was the healing is good. If you can’t heal on a MagSorc then something is wrong with either the skill base or the play style of the person. The heals are there. Same with every class.

Do you really need vigor? You get minor resolve from your class skill, as well as minor protection AT ALL TIMES. (That is why sorks are so broken now?!)
The heal is too strong to pass up. Could go resto and healing ward if you wanted to

Been running this forever it’s old
Run a bow back bar, slot hurricane on back bar. This gives you major and minor endurance. I dont run vigor. Swap death dealers for pale order, run the blue cp that heals your for 7% of direct damage. I prefer shooting star over dawnbreaker. Streaking into a meteor is the most fun part of the build. Then run balorghs or blood spawn. I run crit pots. Also bow back bar also helps with stam regen. I also might be in your stamsorc video
