I’ve literally been looking for this movie for YEARS. I remember watching it when i was younger but never remembered the name and didn’t remember much but damn the memories are coming back
Same, only thing I had remembered was in the end when he was hollow in like a green suit and burning things. I know it was over a decade for me. Luckily Hulu has it
I love Hollow Man (2000). It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and theme. The story, performance's, music, and special effects was remarkable and extraordinary. Kevin Bacon did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Sebastian Caine as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. A brilliant yet arrogant scientist that has hunger for power and once he has that power it really takes a dark and sinister turn as he is tempted to use it for evil intentions. 😰😱 To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old.😍😎💯👍

I always got a kick out of this movie. It's not a particularly great film, but it's really entertaining. It's like a trashy slasher B-movie... except it inexplicably has an A-list cast, top notch special effects and a huge budget. I picked it up on Blu-Ray fairly recently after having not seen it in about ten years, and I maintain it's still a fun watch.
God I loved the Sci fi of the mid to late 1990s and early to mid 2000s it was full of Crazy labs with grey metal floors , CRT computers , Mad scientists going too far and pretty women with short hair trying to appeals to the monsters humanity

The Kate Moss version pales in comparison to Hollow Man. I mean the story telling alone is brilliant. For a 20 year old movie the effects too are quite awesome. I recommend Hollow Man to anyone.
I think they are both brilliant in their own ways. I thought the new one was amazing, using the invisible man to portray domestic/stalker abuse was genius.

I can relate to Sebastian. When you don’t get what you want. It leads to madness. If only I had to the power to do whatever I want too. I would step into Sebastian’s shoes. If it ever were possible.

They spend 10x the money on special FX in this bombastic movie than in Leigh Wannel in 2020 Invisible Man, and yet his was a perfect intelligent Thriller. I’m about to watch this movie for the very first time I hope it’s good 🤞🏾 ok it been two years and I’m finally watching the movie it’s on Netflix he is weird omg he did something to the girl I don’t want to say a lot I finally finish the movie I will rate it a 7 and a half
Once you get past Kevin Bacon’s character’s quirky narcissistic personality during the first quarter of the film, it turns into an excellent thrillers, as his character turns into a diabolical defiant. The ME TOO movement would have a field day in today’s times.
Not sure dude...As a kid it felt quite generic. Hollow Man imho is a mature way to refer to the signature of the movie (the syntetic mask) and also his personality. When a man without principles, without honor, cant look himself in the mirror without a plastic skin face, whats left but an empty shell?...
I'm here after that awful invisible man (2020) with imdb rate : 7 and i remember this film was so good and it's from 20 years ago, with imdb rate of 5.8 and 2.8 in Metacritic
I UNCOVERED THE TRUTH: I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and thinking "Damn this dude was a power hungry psycho, they shouldve never gave him that power" and then I thought "Him being stuck like that made him snap" BUT I watched it now as I'm older and one specific scene made me realize something. It was the scene where he catches the woman with the other co-worker. After that you see him in his room with a blanket, just verbally thrashing the situation of the woman with her lover. Then he killed the dog for barking as his rant was interrupted by it. That's when it hit me: HE DID ALL OF THAT KILLIN THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE, OVER A WOMAN. HE WAS A SIMP! Smh.
If you were invisible, you'd be blind. That's just the fact about how an eyeball works. My brain unfortunately hurts my enjoyment of these kind of movies..😔

HallowMan is one of my favorite childhood Scifi/Horror Movie ever since, I was a little kid, I did watch this movie on HBO last night in 2009, and this is my favorite movie too so much.
It never gets old.😍😎💯👍
Glad to see this again on HBO max such a classic movie Kevin Bacon played the role very good it’s like he was made to play this villain character wish they make a third film

It never gets old. You can not possibly forget about this movie as it's just so memorable and well-known. It is one of Paul Verhoeven best and finest work in cinema. When it was first released it received negative reviews which totally confused me 😕🤔 but despite that I hold it very close to my heart. The movie was just absolutely and positivity constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end so it's not really necessary for a third film. It is such a true blue modern gem. Paul Verhoeven directed a classic that will be in our hearts forever.😍😎💯👍
I love this! So well said! And I totally agree. It was def one of my favorite times and era for these types of movies! 💯

If I invisible, I would steal all the food from supermarket rather than killing people
Niswah Layyinah how
Tre Reid your god damn invisible
Bruce Bliven they can see the food
I'd be exactly like him only smarter
I would kill some mf
My All time favorite movie wonderful superb great. Kiven bacon
I love Jerry Goldsmiths music and this movie 🎥.
Same me too, he's a great good musician.
“What would you do if u could not be seen?” I feel like this everyday..no one noticed me...SAD!
Elizabeth* Moss.
The Moss movie is overrated.
As much as I like both versions, the invisible suit works since anyone good or bad can use it.
I watched it when I was 6 years old ... A classic movie from the good old 90's
It came out in 2000 lol
@@edelriclover15but I guess the production is likely to take place in late 90s.

I miss these kind of trailers where there’s a narrator and you feel so much suspense
I remembered this movie after seeing the invisible man trailer. Now I have to watch this again.
I love kevin bacon
I can relate to Sebastian. When you don’t get what you want. It leads to madness. If only I had to the power to do whatever I want too. I would step into Sebastian’s shoes. If it ever were possible.
I still remember like it was yesterday seeing this trailer play before X Men back in 2000 at the theatres..my nine year old mind thought it was terrifying yet cool!

Me: I would like to have waffles and bacon.
Waiter: On the side?
Me: No the actor.
From the director who brought you 'ShowGirls' 'RoboCop', and "Total ReCall". This is Paul Verohoven's directional debut in the year 2000. : )
One if the greatest Jerry Goldsmith music 🎶 ever!
Always spooked me a lot
Its should be recreated , its sooo amazing movie
Emad4Ever i disagree
I’d leave it as is
@@derekfloresTx true. Don't spoil the classics!
Oops I watched this when I was 7. It's rated an 18
I really loved this film!
I watched this about 5 years ago and I was terribly spooked out...it gives me memories of my really bad nightmares
invisible man 2020 was garbage, but it reminded me of this one, how great this was
INTERNETSUPERSTAR VIDEOS, have you seen it to believe it?
I watched this by myself when I was like 7...This explains everything.
1:35 Who is this actress because i've seen her in many brilliant movies and she is a brilliant actress
Elisabeth Shue - Adventures in Babysitting, Back to the Future 2 & 3, The Karate Kid, Cocktail etc
I'll never forget Kevin Bacon
Unpopular opinion this movie is better than the Invisible Man 2020!
Love this movie so much 😱💭🌫️🌌
This trailer scared the pants off of me when I was a kid. I made lame excuses for several months after I saw it to avoid going to the movie theater.
They spend 10x the money on special FX in this bombastic movie than in Leigh Wannel in 2020 Invisible Man, and yet his was a perfect intelligent Thriller. He did the same greatness for the Cyberpunk genre with Upgrade. So streamlined. Amazing writer and filmaker. I look forward to much more from him
one great crazy movie with great special effects and a great cast too

Fun fact Jennifer Lopez was the first choice to play Linda McKay in this film. But turned the role down to star in The Cell which is another great science fiction film.
I remember my brother and his girlfriend watching this when I was a little kid. Never forgot about it
A very good movie.
My childhood favourite movie 🎥👍
Mine too so much.
Its worth watching! Trust me.

Police officer Matthew from heros brought me here
Remember seeing the trailer with the original X-Men film.
This movie is basically the invisible man
Yeah...its just not called the invisible man...😎👍
nice film!
20 years and still counting
I feel so old, so many people are saying they saw this at 10yo.. I saw this at 18. lol!
28
If I was invisible I would go to the movies for free
Once you get past Kevin Bacon’s character’s quirky narcissistic personality during the first quarter of the film, it turns into an excellent thrillers, as his character turns into a diabolical defiant. The ME TOO movement would have a field day in today’s times.
Superb
How did Columbia get away with this one? one of Verhoven’s better ones in my opinion
"Hollow Man" is such a boring name, in latin america this movie is called: "The Man Without a Shadow." That's a way better name imo
Not sure dude...As a kid it felt quite generic. Hollow Man imho is a mature way to refer to the signature of the movie (the syntetic mask) and also his personality. When a man without principles, without honor, cant look himself in the mirror without a plastic skin face, whats left but an empty shell?...
Ikr😂
no mames wey
They should remaster this movie!
I'm here after that awful invisible man (2020) with imdb rate : 7 and i remember this film was so good and it's from 20 years ago, with imdb rate of 5.8 and 2.8 in Metacritic
Sebestian Caine - Aqua (Kingdom Hearts 3, Birth By Sleep, Dream Drop Distance, Final Chapter Prologue)
I UNCOVERED THE TRUTH:
I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and thinking "Damn this dude was a power hungry psycho, they shouldve never gave him that power" and then I thought "Him being stuck like that made him snap" BUT I watched it now as I'm older and one specific scene made me realize something.
Smh.
That d be pretty awesome to be invisible but not permanent.
If you were invisible, you'd be blind. That's just the fact about how an eyeball works. My brain unfortunately hurts my enjoyment of these kind of movies..😔
What.a sad life man!
They don’t make em like this nomore
Good
They need to bring that back on tubi or Netflix. I miss that movie omg. I remember I watch this as a teen. It really good movie about doing experiment gone wrong. Really wrong. It good movie
best movie!
Is awesome 🤩
I think this movie came with my ps2
I always wondered why Hollow Man didn't cruise up to Atlantic City, slip into the count room of a casino and rob them blind!
I always thought that Elisabeth Shue and Kim Dickens were the same person, so this film confused me.
