I always used to visit the old Burberrys flagship store in Haymarket, London. They had a service centre in the basement where you could get your raincoat cleaned and reproofed and upstairs they had racks of raincoats of every description; I once bought a silk raincoat in their Sale, the most perfect lightweight raincoat for travelling that I've ever had.
I worked at the Scotch House for a few months in 1992. Learning about kilts and stuff. Ian Cameron was my supervisor. GREAT experience.
