Can I connect 2 8inch 275Watts to rear speakers directly to my Honda civic 2002 No amp or is that a lot of power? Normally it’s suppose to be 6.5inch speakers

Where did you get those rings for the front speakers?
If the stock speakers are blown anyway, I remove the female connector and solder them to the replacement. Makes for at tidier install. Don't have to deal with pigtails or have to pay extra for harness adapters.
The Harness adapter was like… 15 bucks, if I’m paying 200 for the speaker 15 bucks isn’t an issue anymore… 😐

Really nice video but there are some things you need to do in order to get all of the sound those speakers are able to produce. First you need to get the vibration out of the metal. Just add some weight to it with Alubutyl. Its aluminum with a big layer of bitumen. It adds weight and stiffens the metal. You need to put it everywhere so there is no noice, rattling or rumbling. Also you need to seal al the holes. Speakers need a defined room to get some pressure out. Sealed room equals more bass. Make sure the speakers are mounted on a stable surface. These few things should increase the amount of bass and the soundquality

Did you just snip off the clip from the door speakers? And then use butt connectors for the new ones

Thanks for the tutorial got my new speakers in easily but damn the stock speaker wire sleeves are such a pain to cut off.

You don't need to do that _ remove the connector and there are spade terminals inside.
bro you dont have to cut the cables because when you open this grey connector you have 2 metal connectors for the speaker

I got them from best buy but cant find them on their website, the ones linked below are the same, JBL 6x9 3 way. Hope this helps! :)

On coupes, the back seats (both tops and bottoms) and the rear side trim pieces (2) need to be removed before the rear shelf can be removed. Such a waste of time for 2 lousy speakers.

I believe they're different, fronts might be the same, but the rears are most likely different
