Thanks again for a great stretch to start my day. I am participating in an 8K this morning, in just a little under 4 hours from now. I’m not competing against anyone but myself. This will be my first race as an adult. I’m really just doing it to have fun and enjoy myself. Your videos have been helping me stay loose and limber and really get my body feeling great. I really appreciate your videos, Ash! Keep them coming. I’m looking forward to coming home and watching another post run stretch.

As always, lovely session! My back was killing me so loved the focus early which helped loosen my back. I have been experiencing some tightness around my elbow and curious if any other runners are experiencing this or have any stretches to help target that area. Thanks!
I really love reading your comments Boluwatife. It's great to hear how they fit into your schedule and what is happening with you. So glad this helped loosen your back, it is a very common area of issues because of our modern day habits of sitting and not strengthening the area enough. With regards to your elbow, this could be muscle tightness or potential nerve issue or you could have tennis elbow issue? Lots of potential things it could be, if it persists I would get it checked out. Thanks as always for your comments
Another awesome Video, didn’t use it as a wake up but rather to stretch out the hips and groin but can definitely see this being a perfect way to start the day. Have you got a video that focuses on the quads and general thigh area, managing a slight tightness and feel like I need a really good stretch of the the thighs/quads

I like this morning stretch a lot. I wondered if we also need to stretch the quad as well as part of this routine. Also, my right TFL feels swelling, especially when I do the knee hug. Any idea how to release that part? I’ve been rolling it with a ball for more than a week but it is still tight. I bet it is related to my recent training on my 5K pace which is new to me as a marathoner.
Yes it could be related to that. Could be inflammation which would need to settle down. If the issue continues I would suggest getting it looked at before it develops further. I couldn’t give much more on that without seeing it in person unfortunately sorry.
