What absolute craftsmanship. Knowing that everything is hand-built from scratch is just amazing. Saw you on Jay Leno's garage and have been following you ever since. Keep it up, Chris!
@ I try to do the same thing with my RUclips channel, but in a much smaller way. There are so many skills and techniques that will disappear if they are not shared with the future generations. www.youtube.com/@Qspecialman/videos
love the passion, would love to be able to build up the courage to build my concepts, maybe someday, untill then can t wait to see what you do next sir!
Have you ever performed an electrochemical treatment of the aluminum bodies to give the aluminum bodies color? The bronze tone you see on the car at the beginning of the video is stunning.
…spectacular! Watching you and your precision through process! Thanks for sharing! Recommendation for glue which you using for the leather and foams attaching parts to seats frame?
Looks great as usual. What kind of foam are you using? I tend to shy away from the open cell variety myself. Didn't know Fein makes a shear...hopefully it works better than the 350q I had which caught on fire after an hour of intermittent use from new.

Thanks man, I am using a 1" premium comfort foam, firm density. The Fein shear is a godsend! I got the extra blades for cutting curves which are a huge help for this type of work.
How do you avoid getting glue on your hands and hence on everything else?

It's inevitable that you're going to get some glue on your hands. When I do, I try to clean it off right away with Mineral Spirits immediately followed by Dawn dish soap. I've found wearing gloves to be a nightmare when doing this...

I'm so happy this kind of people exist!
Incredible result. Your ability to create everything, from metal to upholstery is simply amazing!
Imagine the satisfaction of having a bespoke car built for you, and to this degree of craftsmanship. Bravo!

It’s really coming together. I keep envisioning myself driving down the cost in it. It’s good dream.
An absolutely superb job. Thanks for taking so much trouble with the video.
Thank you! My hope with the video's is that generations to come might find them and pick up an idea or two, or even build their own car!

Have you ever thought of painting them?
Yep, actually my first two builds were painted. My son and I are working on a limited series that will be painted.
