The phone is 60hz on RUclips because RUclips is capped at 60hz (on every phone and device).
wrong .. my one plus 7pro runs RUclips on 90 hz
@@marvines4565some devices let you scroll in higher refresh rate in RUclips and lower to 60Hz when you play a video. Unfortunately my Realme 11 Pro is also capped at 60Hz on RUclips, I hope they fix that with an update.

I just bought this phone about 9hrs ago. 8/128. With 5gb virtual memory expansion. 134,000 Naira at Raya stores. They gave me a Xiaomi customized shuttle bag as gift.
A sweet device. I'm loving it already. Second space is even available.

Exactly the camera is the issue, I just got mine yesterday, I was pleased with everything but not the camera... If the camera was okay, I would av scored it 10/10...But the camera part of the phone is heartbreaking

The Stabilization is kinda good
My mi note 12 is just 3weeks old, but it hangs too much ,has network issue. I gave it to service centre and asked them to dispose it because of unreliability.
It's a good phone. Has great futures but cannot hold apps. If I minimize a third-party app and open another, and decide to go back to the previous, the app restarts

The phone draggs a lot oh. When you want to pick calls it's laggs as well. I have the 4 128gb version. I can't recommend this phone to anyone seriously. It's what I'm usinhg right now

Valor Reviews does it again. The Redmi Note 12 is a true MVP (Most Valued Phone), but they're still yet more competitors coming up. My personal verdict is also based on the price tag:
Pros:
- Good-looking design, IP rating and lightweight (below 190grams)
- Best display for the price! (AMOLED, 1080p, 120Hz)
- Solid and battery-efficient chipset
- Large enough memory numbers
- Fast-charging above it's own class! (33W is common above $180)
- Solid camera system with good stabilization.
Cons:
- Although the price does not demand it, lack of HDR support on display is a bit of a let-down
- 120Hz is lagging on certain apps (although some people find it power saving)
- Gaming experience isn't 100% satisfying
- Camera quality could be more better

@@ezekieltroytagustin5396 yes of course. In my country, this phone has a seemly higher price category for a mid-range smartphone. The processor should be capable enough to cover up this phone. There are better chipsets out there like Helio g99, SD695, etc

4gb is not that much for android while for ios and ipad os 4gb of ram can do wonders

Overall it's a good device, Video stabilisation too is quite good I must say, but it has a terrible mic recording quality, Redmi note (base series) "not Pro" are unfortunately found of this mess till date, of which I believe a software update will fix this easily.

I've been thinking about getting one but I've been thinking about all bloatware I'd have to uninstall, disable along with how well it will work in the U.S. of A. I have been into still photography since around 1975 and rarely shoot videos. How is it using the User Interface(UI)?
UI is not bad. It's easy to use.
@@valorreviews, thank you. I've used LG mostly, Samsung, HTC, Nokia Windows, Motorola, Huawei, Umidigi through the years. I aquired a Samsung the first part of the year and quickly came to the opinion that it really sucks compared to my first one years ago. I bought another Motorola after I got frustrated with it one night the Samsung took flight into a desk. The screen needed replacing.
A month or so after getting a screen I turned it on there was an update waiting. After the update was installed the Samsung now reaches temperatures 118-120°F/47.7-48.8°C while charging whether I'm using it or not or if it's on or off. Makes me think it's going to act like a Note 7.
Honestly the phone is junk. I have it and am about to return it and go back to my 4yo device. It’s got a nice screen and that’s it. It’s barely functional cheap tat that was made for the developing world that the Chinese decided to chance selling in western markets. Avoid like the plague.

When my phone is set on 120 Hz, while watching video in RUclips or any gallery video, the screen starts flickering but when I change it to 60 Hz, the flickering stops
PS: The flickering only happens while watching any video while 120 Hz is set

I'm sure I've watched this review numerous times, but people in the comment be discouraging one from buying the Redmi saying it has some issues, I think I might just buy Tecno camon 20 pro 4g, but no one has done a review on it, not sure if you can take the time to do so, and if you can't, is it phone to recommend against the Redmi note 12 4g 8g ram variant. Your reply would much appreciate 👍.
My advice get the 8gb ram and 128g it's the best
i come from a X3 Pro and it isn't like i expected the Note 12 to be almost the same, but the screen does not impress me at all, i almost prefer the X3 Pro's IPS screen, a big letdown because it was the main reason to select RN12. i have no problems with the SD685, a long way from the SD860 but i had a Redmi 10c and its SD680 worked very well.
Not sure why you didn't like it but the AMOLED display of redmi note 12 is really nice
