This phone is awesome. I love it so much. I got the 8/256 variant. Not exactly the best specs in the market, but I'm happy to say I can enjoy Genshin Impact on medium graphics on this thing. Its sleek design makes it comfortable to hold and I absolutely love the display and 120hz refresh rate. Worth every penny if you ask me.
I have the 6GB Ram version and it's quiet good for gaming and social consumption. Can't complain. I recently updated the latest software patches and it's running optimally.
if its got a 1080p amoled, solid battery endurance and charging speed and a headphone jack im game..the pro models reportedly have worse battery endurance than 2023 flagships, that sucks. And i wish they'd go back to offering 6.4 inch size displays.looks neat though

When picking a budget Xiaomi always opt for a higher physical ram (dont mind the useless ram extension) because to matter what Xiaomi says about their UI giving optimization (they're liars) MIUI is always heavy and 4gb ram is crap, note 12 has 8gb version just add some money in it.

okay I bought this last week for 120k and its a great phone; the display is sexy, camera is top but its my first Redmi so I cant say anything further. the only problem is that I cant set Google Photos as my default gallery and Screenshots also somehow find their way into the camera folder 🤷♂
Keep configuring it, you'll get the best out of your great buy. You won't regret owning this great Xiaomi product. It may not be the ultimate but it's an enjoyable phone that i personally long to own. I promise you your phones who use expensive phones won't notice the difference with yours. Infact they'll wonder as you display what that phone can do. The extras are just too much. Infra Red lets you control every gadget in the house, car etc. You can even play 2 videos simultaneously in Xiaomi and mute the other one of your choice. I surprise lots of people with my Redmi 9T of many years ago.

Yeah I've had the 4GB RAM version and it was brutaly slow and unresponsive. Felt like xiaomi forgot to optimize it. 4GB RAM should be enough but xiaomi couldn't manage it either. I don't recommend the base Note 12 at all. Better choice is for sure Moto G32

Very disappointing. Except the AMOLED screen and a bit more charging speed, nothing has improved since Redmi Note 7. CPU is disappointing, camera is disappointing, chassis is plastic instead of glass, colors are dull. Samsung A14 is a better deal.
