Your patience in the first lap was saintly. So hard when you know you’re faster, losing the group in front, AND being pressured from behind all at once.
Lol, I can't watch Dave when I'm trying to wind down and get rest at nighttime. Cause after a lap or two, it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to not go run some laps upstairs on my SIM lol. IMPOSSIBLE! 😂❤
Once I manage to finish first because other driver kid had an mission for him, so he had to stop in the middle of the race. But once I finished second. Only what you have to do with this cars on technical tracks is put pressure on opponents.
Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) Cup / Global MX-5 Are the two cars that Ive raced on this track more than sny others. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THOS CAR/TRACK COMBO. Edit: lol Dave ide say Porsche GT3's aren't super tough to drive, but they are... Super tough to drive FAST!! 😂❤
Wicked video. In case it helps with the corner before the second carousel, I try and use the barrier on the outside as my reference for where to put the car. It runs exactly parallel and you can see it a lot sooner
That’s interesting, when you passed me, 7:23, every car disappeared for me and all of a sudden you were by my side. It hasn’t happened to me before so I thought I’d blinked, I panicked and slowed a bit, but apparently not
I’ve been sim racing for over 10yrs, most of that in Iracing. I took a break from Iracing 6 months ago, never been happier! Lol started playing other sims again and I forgot how trash Iracing’s physics, tire model, net code etc. Also, their horrific point system for SR & IR. It’s great to actually feel what the cars doing again playing AC. Lol
Great race Dave! I watch you in hopes that some day I can do this too. I have often wanted to do real sim racing but life is still in the way enough that I cannot get a rig together and prices aren't coming down. even focusing on just getting a decent wheel and pedal set in Canada is getting out of reach, enough lamenting always a great watch with your content mate.
Easily sandbagging his way to P4 with his throttle stuck at 99% for half the time he went flat. First lap of Döttinger Höhe was 99% throttle for the whole damn thing.
Second time I’ve been in a Ringmiester race with Dave this season! No carnage report incidents from me some how even though I bought the car 5 mins before this race 😂
Hey Dave, great video as always. I was in this race and shamefully was featured a few times in carnage reel in the pink Rexy livery. Wanted to say hello but had been plagued with system issues in vr and couldn't hold a steady frame rate which in vr is impossible to see what's going on. Hope I can sort my issues and actually get a good race with you in the session so I can say hello haha. Ellie
I love this track and I hate this car!!!! I did this race four time yesterday. Lost my "A" license, but I will not stop, I will race it all week. I will get my iRating back up and my safety rating back as well. I will OWN this car/track combo, I'm running 7.04's I just need to keep it out of the wall. Oh the spotter from "Crew Chief" told me "This is the last weekend we are going to watch you drive like this, get it together or I'll us my own F#$%ing money and get my own car and Race!!" "Jim" from Crew Chief is amazing...LOL As always your videos are great, what was your BB? Any help would be great.
I think I just left my BB where it was. Lots of trail braking here and not too many super heavy braking zones so as long as you're gently on the brakes initially it stops pretty well 😁
Another RUclips content creator from Canada recently put a vid out about this car. Says it not close to the real car. Not gonna mention his name cos I'm not gonna promote someone else. Very interesting mod he did 😊
I always makes me laugh when people brake way too late the try throwing it down a couple of gears to try and make the turn. It never ends well. I think my brain must be broken Dave. When you said Moritz I immediately thought of Selwyn Froggit saying "Magic our Morris". 😂

Is it just me or has the standard of behaviour on iracing plummeted? Seriously, I've never known it be so bad. I've just had to report another one this evening for Gran Turismo behaviour. Really starting to put me off paying the money until iracing start banning these idiots.
