Here is another weeks Questions and Troubleshooting!!
Cody, would love to add my thanks for this video! As the owner of a new 570 QEE, I went thru this with my hoop. You've saved my sanity!
Thank you for the info about the green checkmark! I have wasted so much time trying to get the hoop on my 570 QEE. Love your videos.
So happy you’re enjoying the videos and you’re finding them helpful. 🥰
Hi Cody! I think most of us have done this with the hoop on and off! I remember trying not to scream at my Tula! When I finally got it I realized it was me! Haha haha
Thank you - my shop is in Tampa, Fl and must drive I-4 and I-75. Very helpful to avoid unnecessary trips!
Thanks Cody!
Thank you, I did have that issue with the hoop when I didn't know how to use my machine.
Absolutely wonderful information as usual, thank you Cody. . Can you help with my very recent problem, I have a Bernina 590 that has just started to shred the upper thread, I use 50wt Aurifil for piecing with 1.5 stitch length. I sew fairly slowly but still shreds, have tried using Bernina thread stand, have undone everything & checked what I can, also lowered thread tension from 70 to 40, new needle, no luck. Seems to shred & break down lower end opposite presser foot left button etc. Any ideas would be such a great help 😀🤞
That was so helpful, thank you! My machine locks up almost every time I used the thread cutter, and I've NEVER forced the wheel, so it must be something in the parts. I don't use it now, only when I accidentally press the wrong button. Very annoying. This is my THIRD machine in this model - the first 2 were faulty via other reasons and replaced, so there must have been a faulty batch produced?? The other thing I have a problem with is that the machine is supposed to warn when the bobbin is running low - mine doesn't, never has - until it has run out several inches later! Your posts are my first 'go to' for problem solving and learning - just brilliant. Thank you so much :)
I am so sorry you’ve had soo much problems with your model. That is very rare however when 590 machines first came out there were issues sadly.
But I am happy you are enjoying my videos 🥰🥰
Very helpful, thanks!
Hi. I have on and off had problems with skipped stitches, most frequently when I sew linings of silk habotai. Recently it happened even with cotton twill.fabric and after dealer approved servicing. I have thrown away many Schmetz needles when I see the skipped stitches and primarily use Aurifil thread . I have now purchased Mettler which is harder to find in Toronto to see if that will solve my problem. I'm willing to accept that it is operator, my, error but then I need to know what I am doing wrong. Any thoughts? Thanks......
I was sewing just fine, then had to leave the machine to address another issue when I returned I found that I was unable to move the screen to select another stitch, now I am unable to yield any of the icons. everytime I try to sew the foot screen shows up. I have the correct foot yet this action keeps repeating. the machine is now not operable for any sewing. HELP
My bernia record only goes top speed but Wes going fine last time I used it. Any suggestions
Hi Cody, which one is the quietest Bernina? Thank you!
That green checkmark is on many other functions. Should it be checked whenever we see it?
Cody, I really love your videos. I learn something every time I watch them. I was wondering about using the slide-on table when you embroider. I noticed this in one of your videos. Is that something I should be doing?
I am very happy you’re enjoying the videos So deep ending on which hoop you’re using depends on how extra helpful the slide on table will be. The slide on table can never hurt when embroidering. But the larger hoops benefit greatly when the slide on table is used. Especially when doing appliqué.
@@sewingwithcodyandpete8651 Thank you so much for the answer and the tips. I very much appreciate your education on all these topics
Help. I took out my 770 bobbin to change colors. I think I must have put it back in the wrong position. I can’t get it out. Machine won’t work!
I removed the hook assembly to remove the bobbin...I still can’t get it out! Do you have a video that desks with this?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for all these videos. What sewing table do you use??
Hi can you tell me what other machines the embroidery module for the Bernina 880 plus will fit. I got the new smart module and now I have an extra module and no machine to go with it. Thank you
That module fits the 830,880, 780, 790, 750, 770, 770 plus, and 700 😀😀
Hi Cody, the feed dogs on my Bernina 770qe won’t raise, is this likely to need to go into to the repair shop or is there something I can do
If your feed dogs won’t raise after you engage them and start sewing then yes something most likely has come detached unfortunately. That’s not a common issue at all but it can happen.
@@sewingwithcodyandpete8651 Thankyou Cody, off to the dealer then
