Wow.. these guys. 🤮 I've seen hundreds of kids ignore their homework, play video games into the night, go out with their friends without telling their parents, put themselves into many bad situations because Parents weren't active in their lives and let them parent themselves. I can't count how many deaths happened because the parents did not parent. So, the mistake is not saying that every child is different. This does not work for all children. Dynamics also include abuse, divorced families, mixed families and so forth can impact the child's decisions. I've seen kids who were raised with threats and they grew up fine. I grew up in a poverty stricken area where this wouldn't work. Lots of children I grew up with had a desire to be bad. It gave them some sort of euphoria.
