Recently bought the SNKL23 and have been maining it ever since. I ended up over-paying quite a bit compared a year or so ago but I don't see them doing too many more rounds before becoming extortionate as I believe they've stopped making them. I'm loving the watch with the leather strap but taking off the bracelet was painful lol
Yeah putting the bracelet back on is even more of a hassle haha, check out the aftermarket Jubilee bracelet I found for it here! ruclips.net/video/n_MGiY5DQhA/видео.html
I kept the 45 and then later sold both of them to get other watches, but if I had to pick which to keep I'd say the 45 because of how good straps look on it :)
Hi, I just found your channel and really like your videos, I appreciate your work. So, I want to buy my first automatic watch which I want it to be a Seiko 5 SNKL23, the only thing that I don't like about the watch is the bracelet. I wonder if I can find a good-fitting and nice-looking bracelet for SNKL23. I am a college student and I want to wear the watch daily. If you have any advice or suggestions for me, I would be pleased.
Hey thanks for watching :) I ordered an aftermarket Jubilee bracelet from AliX for the SNKL23 and I'll be making a video of it as soon as I get it, stay tuned!
I already got the 45, the 23 has been in my cart for weeks, until I watched your video. I don’t like the huge gaps between the case and the strap. Thanks!
Hey thanks for watching! I found a nice aftermarket Jubliee Bracelet for the 23, just uploaded a video for it if you wanna check it out: ruclips.net/video/n_MGiY5DQhA/видео.html I don't like that gap either so I think I'll be exclusively wearing the 23 on that bracelet
I believe they are different versions for different markets J1 being japan. In terms of the watch itself they will have different day wheels, for Japan it would be English-Japanese, mine are English-Spanish (probably destined to be for the US market). I know for Canada they make the day wheel English-French. Hope it helps!
Hi I own both the SNKL23J1 and K1 versions. One was a gift for my son and I kept the K1. Main differences are : the J1 box was a little nicer (white box), the K1 box was green in my case, there were a couple of info cards in Japanese inside the J1 box. The J1 version came with a box sticker and an inside card attached to the watch that reads "Made in Japan", the label "Made in Japan is also printed inside the dial between the 6 and 7 hr marks. On the movement there is another" Made in Japan" label. The K1 doesn't have these labels but on the back it has a Movement Malaysia label. Regarding the dates my K1 has spanish/English days while the J1 has them in arabic/English. Hope this helps. As reference I got the SNKL23J1 for 104 usd and the K1 for 89 usd from Jomashop.

Hello. Which one did u kept? Btw i dont think 45 is small for your hand. It suits you perfectly.

Thank you for the video.
A request! Have you tried swaping the dials of both the watch with each other? Would love to see it happen, if it's possible.
Sadly I sold the SNKL23 and got myself one of the newer "DresSKX" models instead (video coming soon!)

Great Video! Quick question, where can I get the leather watch straps you have here for my SNKL45?
I think I got mine from Amazon very generic brand
If only the lug gap was smaller on the 23, when wearing it with a strap...
Yea unless you get a NATO or a thicc strap it looks weird imo
are they in greyish shade or in light they are looking grey ?? Mainly Seiko have sliver shade in these. Do let me know. Thanks
they are more black than grey I'd say
I just ordered snkl23 from creation watches for £87!
That's a great deal!
Hey, love the video. May I know from where did you buy these watches?
Thanks for watching! I bought from Amazon Canada when they were on sale :)
i prefer the 41 with white dial more looks like SARB i think..
Ya that one was 60$ more expensive than the black one in Canada so I cheaped out and got the snkl45 instead haha

SNKL45 hands down🙌 Currently I got the SNXS79 but I did own the snkl45 aswell
can i ask which is better from your experience ? SNKL45 or SNXS79
Here from reddit 🙃
Haha welcome :)
Get both unless you have convincing reason not to.
The 49 automatic for £130 from Hinds this is enough
Could you stop juggling the watches in front of the camera. Maybe but them down on a surface and focus in with the camera.
yeah I learned from my mistakes, this is a pretty old video, thanks :D
