Yeah don’t be afraid to fight 140s. My 120 wind team with almost no trust stones takes out a 5500 combined stat King Bradley and company. The map is the biggest factor

Although this is definitely a thing a lot of won't like, it's not too cumbersome for older players (as long as they don't go nuts with the Reincarnations 😅). It's the new players who get the shortest end of the stick, like always 🤧.
Now as I understand it from various RUclipsrs who play on JP they'll give out the incernation specific resources for MR units quite generously - compared to the UR ones. That's why I expect that this system is more helpful to power-up MR units. Dario is a good example. I heard he got so good with this reincernation that he even took Jeume's place in wind teams. And that's quite a feat. Knowing that I'll probably focus on my MR units first. And some free UR units (Lucio, selection quest UR) get "free"/grindable materials to upgrade them completely through the whole system. That's at least something to look forward to.
Giving MR units some new toys to play around with would certainly be a nice thing! Especially if it gives them viable usage with UR units (I would be very interested in building Dario, after what you've said! :D). Free UR units getting farmable resources is also great! ^_^

maxing out all stats, no. However look at Sephiroth max attack increase 180 is no small amount. I could see maxing out say ATK(or Mag) and AP for most units. Some cases it might be HP/Defense/Acc . Everyone complained when EX jobs became a thing and now it just another step to max power at that point. This will be another "thing" and soon people will normalize it too. This is my opinion from a min/maxer who has already gone clinical insane from trust stones.

With the EX Upgrade, we knew that getting a certain amount of resources will guarantee us certain things (stats, skills, etc). With this, there isn't any guarantee 😵. So although that 180 ATK does look enticing, there's no way to be sure how much efforts/how many resources it would take to get it 😅.
There's a huge difference between 120ex and the autism's that's 140 rebirth. People still hates TrustStone even now, and they add the Truststone autism to character growth systems. There's a reason why the Devs got so much hate during the FMA live stream last month.
I swear man, if GUMI doesn't increase the rate as to how often you can farm and reduce the price that you can buy BoP, this entire new system is nothing more than a P2W system. You can only farm O N E Blossom every, what? Every week or 2 weeks? I reincarnated my K. Mont yesterday since I like running Fire in GB/Arena, and even though I pulled him when he was released more than a year ago, I could only reincarnate him 2 or 3 times because of how little MS's he had. After all of those pulls since acquiring him and the hundreds of thousands of viziore spent on banners, I only pulled him like 3 times as a duplicate. Either the game is going to have to drastically reduce the price for shards/Mind Spheres, or they're going to have to make it so people can farm them more than once or twice as a daily thing and only able to get 1-3 from Barracks farming. It's a pretty cool system I suppose, but it's already enough of a pain in the ass to get a Unit to 120 as it is, 3 months of daily farming and sitting in the Barracks pain in the ass ffs.
Yea those seem like the primary bottleneck. I still need several hundreds to complete my units and vision cards. It feels like it was designed for someone who has nothing to spend them on anymore and has already accumulated hundreds.
good thing we have jp as like a 3 months future measur because implementing a new kind of powercreep that need to be taken slowly when you ALREADY have an upgrade system that need to be taken slowly is a game killer, lets see if the final fantasy name brand can carry this new awful upgrade system
Actually, you can't get more than 3 yellow stars, total, during any one reincarnation. Once you have 3 Yellow Stars, then you have to reincarnate to turn them into Green stars (which give permanent stats). During this Reincarnation, you can, once again, get 3 Yellow Stars. The only difference would be the Green (Permanent Stats) stars you've acquired by that point. Hope that helps answer your question, sirundying! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! ^_^

Hey Adimas! Well there are a couple of ways to go about it! 1- You can buy his Shards from the Shops! You can buy 200 right away (from his own shop), and the regular shop can have Sephiroth Shards for sale (Refresh it for free to see if some show up!). The Whimsy Shop (which randomly shows up when you complete a quest) will have 3 Sephiroth Shards everytime it shows up! It can show up multiple times a day! 2- You can exchange for Mindspheres from the UR Unit Medals Mog Shop! It costs a lot of Medals (250 for the first 50 Mindspheres. 300 for the next 50, and so on), but at least it doesn't cost Visiore! 😅 Hope this helps! Transcendance is hell for limited units. If you arent a whale itll be nearly impossible to max out a limited character.
