This is arguably one of the most memorable, otherworldly, angelic pieces from Metroid Prime. And you didn't just capture it or cover it, Evelyn. You made it your own and created a beautiful arrangement that more than stands on its own while evoking the beautiful, frozen drifts of Phendrana, filled with beauty and danger alike. Bravo.
Never played Metroid Prime, but this song sound beautiful like I'm on top of a mountain over the clouds looking over the world like a god. Peaceful and reserved, but a feeling of isolation sits in the back of my mind.
That's not too far from the evironment itself. Phendrana drifts is located in a high, mountanous region of Tallon IV, ever-snowing and dotted with Chozo ruins. You know the music is good if you get an idea of what it's supposed to invoke and you've never even played the game. :)
@@sodasaintcommentaries4054 Not just the environment, but the tone. He said it gives him a feeling of isolation, and that's exactly the point. Samus is almost always completely alone on a dangerous alien world, which Metroid Prime especially did a fantastic job of conveying through its soundtrack, and this version succeeded in staying true to that.
God it’s so beautiful, I played this game as a kid and when I got to this area I just stopped to listen to the music, it’s filled with nostalgia for me, thanks for reminding me of this song
Good shit, man. I use a lot of game OSTs to score DND games with friends, your rescoring makes it more thematically appropriate for a pseudo medieval-setting so I'm immediately saving this. The Skytown theme would also be amazing.
I do not have the words to describe how beautiful this is. Just hearing this alone, makes me want to play Metroid prime all over again. Thank you for sharing this. \[T]/
You always do fantastic work, but I had to comment just to say how much I appreciate you covering some of Yamamoto's incredible work from Prime. You did an incredible job with the otherworldly, beautiful, lonely sound and I really hope you do more in the future. Good luck and God bless!!
Dear god I'm speechless. This cover sounds so angelic and beautifull. Also is that an electric cello i hear in places. I havent played prime but i want to
Oh my god I was listening to this music earlier this day (it's my favorite Prime theme), I was so thrilled to listen to a new remix of this theme! It's beautiful
I know I'm late to the party but holy crap this is AMAZING. It brings back all the feelings of when I first heard the original. Any chance of you doing Torvus Bog from Prime 2?
All of your work is absolutely incredible!! Here's something I would love to hear you do: Under My Control and/or C-R-O-W-N-E-D from Kirby's Return to Dreamland sometime!

Bravo.
Metroid Prime's quality as a game is the living proof of what happens when game designers decide to add quality music in their 3d games.
I still can't understand that people haven't found this channel yet.
It always sounded so lonely in the drifts. You capture the beauty and loneliness of this level
You are usually the only friendly face there.

My friend... The remaster just released on the Nintendo Switch. You need this game in your life. Trust me
You’re in luck. Metroid Prime 1 is not hard to come by, but the other two on the other hand…
How can you consistently make perfect remixes like this??? It's seriously not fair how talented your are!

Just beat the game again.
When you posted this I was in Phendrana collecting the Gravity Suit. =D
I've waited 5 years for this, and God has gifted us
I hate to break it to you, buddy, but that wasn’t God.
I'm speechless... How beautiful
The music for Phendranna Drifts sounds like it could’ve been in a level from Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Instant like when I saw this
There's so much passion in this rendition you can almost even touch it. Listening to this takes your soul into a relaxing journey.
You have earned my subscription from this piece. God I want to play this game again, but my Wii is broken.
I do not have the words to describe how beautiful this is. Just hearing this alone, makes me want to play Metroid prime all over again.

I always look at my subscriptions with excitement to see when you release something new, and you never disappoint! Well done!
One of the best songs from one of my favorite games.

This makes me very happy. I remember searching through all your metroid uploads to see if this one was here. Glad to see it now.
The vocals make sound angelic....
Wow… what an incredible arrangement. So ethereal, love the chord progressions

Nice work! ^^
My god this is a BEAUTIFUL arrangement! Great job!
I'm glad I found this channel today
Its missing that high pitches whistling metroid sound effect that accompanies the main notes, but it is a beautiful rendition.
Phedrana Drift, you managed to make my favorite area even better.
I still can’t get over how amazing this piece is, every time I listen to it I’m taken to another world!
Oh, *_hell_* yes.
Incredible.
I grew up playing these games, so this kicked me in the face with nostalgia and I love it
I played metroid prime and can say this is a glorious master piece ❤❤❤
0:19 I thought that was going to lead into Mute City for a moment.
Calming orchestral f-zero is a mood
This arrangement gradually gets better somehow
Ooh!! Very good indeed!
Oh my gosh this is incredible, one of my favorite metroid tracks
Absolutely beautiful.
One of the many parks of being a Metroid fan. We get the best remix’s
masterpiece
Plot twist, this track is bought and used in Metroid Prime 4
We need more metroid prime! Amazing Cover
Very nice!
even though it makes no sense why there's a rainforest and a tundra right next to eachother, it's still never been more beautiful
Dear god I'm speechless. This cover sounds so angelic and beautifull. Also is that an electric cello i hear in places. I havent played prime but i want to
That harp arpeggio is from the plains battle in Final Fantasy Tactics.
Oh my god I was listening to this music earlier this day (it's my favorite Prime theme), I was so thrilled to listen to a new remix of this theme! It's beautiful
This needs more views
I just discovered this channel and holy shit
Not bad. I like this.
My favorite metriod location
Did you do the vocals or are they synth vocals? Either way, they are very well done!
Yup, it's sampled. I can't sing to save my life. :p
The Noble Demon Fantastic Job either way! The fact that you got a sampled vocal to sound so good is awesome!

I don’t know why Metroid didn’t reuse that track in a later game.
How long did it take?
Still no dislikes
Absurd.
