I know it's a retread of previous seasons, but every time DSP starts thinking that people on the internet are finally starting to see him in a more positive light, I know that something really fun is on the way. The DSP cycle never changes and he will always be remembered as "the May 1st Burst guy", nothing more.

The way he frames that statement is so telling. In Phil's mind, someone could give him a massive amount of money and he sees no obligation to stay longer, to entertain. That part about how he wouldn't take 1 million dollars instead of being with his wife is another one of those moments where you think he is an alien acting as a human. As you said, no one would even think twice about that, from the fact alone, that even if you just make a few hundred more during that time, you could take another day off to spend with your wife instead of 45 extra minutes. You could even go on a small vacation. It's one of these moments where you see that Phil is just playing an "adult character" from a movie. The movies always say how love is more important than money and that's all fine in a movie. But it doesn't mean that it translates well into every moment of your life. And I mean, that's something you can see in other interactions of his as well. He is just copying movie tropes a lot of the times.

Nah, as someone else here said police investigations don't start just with RUclips documentaries, and I think most people well versed with DSP's bankruptcy case know that he committed bankruptcy fraud and that the case was decided wrongly by this point. I think it's more so just the fact that Phil knows he won't be able to defend most of the claims regarding his bankruptcy that the doc shows, and so he's trying to illicit sympathy in advance in the hopes that people won't come after him for it.

My mother died recently so with the money she left me I can buy a gaming pc, as that was the other problem the thinkpad I am currently using has the power of DSP arms and legs, it does not even have a graphics card, plus it is a Japanese model with a Japanese keyboard and a lot of things in Chinese. Oh woe as me Phil. 42 years old reminiscing about his “popularity” back in the day. But look at him now stuck in the house 6 days a week and not knowing what’s going on as usual. And on a side note, he is making an even bigger bad decision by keeping the lie(s) that has or have already been told so he's to deep in the muck to get out.
this kino betrayal arc will be a huge crack in the dam known as his mental state. he has already been breaking before all this earlier this year, but THIS? he is gonna lose his mind. it wont be the end, but its going to be a big DENT ackackack
Not trying to be rude to you as I genuinely hope you are right as that would be funny. But I have watched a little bit of KC and PPP and warski, along with their fans, are just as dented as dsp and his fans. They belong together and the best outcome, to me, would be that dsp finds a way to not only sink himself, but finds a way to take down KC along with him. It would be hilarious.

It's fun to speculate and it's fun to see the many takes I have seen on this whole arc. While dsp and his "content" is garbage, the detractor community will always be far more fun and creative than anyone that involves themselves in dsp's content. So when the documentary about DSP's past enters the dance floor and reawakens the negativity in people, Phil will deliberately run away and NOT continue to show how much he has changed since his toxic past.
Not sure how he can keep saying he has changed when he has literally shown himself to throw all of those "changes" away the moment KC dents throw him some extra cash. This is what DSP really looks like. A sad, greedy, pathetic old man with no goals, no ambitions, and no one to be there for him when there is nothing left. I would pity him if he wasn't so vile.

Regarding Phil's "basement dwelling trolls" comment, his elderly parents paid for his wedding, they helped pay his taxes, and his bank leaks revealed that he still receives $2K from them every year as a birthday "gift". Bear that in mind whenever The Guy is larping as an independent and financially responsible adult.

The way he frames that statement is so telling. In Phil's mind, someone could give him a massive amount of money and he sees no obligation to stay longer, to entertain. Hell, he doesn't even view it as a transaction ("I'll give you this money IF you keep streaming"). To him, it makes total sense to treat getting nothing more and getting a million dollars as the same thing.
Really goes to show you that the business is a means to collect dollars, not something that's meaningful to him. DSP wants to be the office worker who clocks out as soon as he can, so he can leave to go do what he actually wants to do (pull Hogans).
I wonder if he even spends time with Kat? They live in the house, so it’s weird to even say that… it’s weird that they sleep on different floors and have minimal comunication?

That part about how he wouldn't take 1 million dollars instead of being with his wife is another one of those moments where you think he is an alien acting as a human. As you said, no one would even think twice about that, from the fact alone, that even if you just make a few hundred more during that time, you could take another day off to spend with your wife instead of 45 extra minutes. You could even go on a small vacation.
It's one of these moments where you see that Phil is just playing an "adult character" from a movie. The movies always say how love is more important than money and that's all fine in a movie. But it doesn't mean that it translates well into every moment of your life. And I mean, that's something you can see in other interactions of his as well. He is just copying movie tropes a lot of the times.

I know the US justice system is beyond screwed so he was able to get away with it and that won't change, but he is still afraid. Why else wouldn't he just "own the dectractors" and show his account? Nah, as someone else here said police investigations don't start just with RUclips documentaries, and I think most people well versed with DSP's bankruptcy case know that he committed bankruptcy fraud and that the case was decided wrongly by this point.
I think it's more so just the fact that Phil knows he won't be able to defend most of the claims regarding his bankruptcy that the doc shows, and so he's trying to illicit sympathy in advance in the hopes that people won't come after him for it.

Phil keeps repeating that the detractors are "seething" and going crazy. In all honesty, none of us are seething. We're just enjoying the ride. It's fun watching Phil go full on hypocrite by turning himself into a drama stream and becoming a "meme streamer". It took him a single week and a couple bucks to become everything he said he hated, completely with LEDs and Ring lights.

This section drove me up a wall. Never have I seen a proud, out-and-out crybully hop on a gravy flame (KC-Dickers, in this case) and then openly say he's "too old" to deal with backlash when the camera pans back to him.
Here's some advice, Phil, since you watch all the detractor videos that show up on your front page: when you fire shots across the bow, don't start complaining about fire returned.
I feel like this pahsitivity is going to last at most for a month. Most of the time Phil experiences growth/financial fortune, it is a fleeting phenomenon.

I’m not seething at DSP’s current arc, I’m amazed that he found a way to be even more obnoxious. Nothing has actually “changed,” the Internet doesn’t suddenly love DSP. No one outside of his regulars are coming in like “Wow, DSP is so much cooler now!” It’s actually the opposite, his regulars are utterly repulsed by his behavior.
I can’t wait until we get to the climax of the Kino Arc and he realizes that they were setting him up for a massive collapse that they could milk for content.

I honestly think Kino Casino was a POSITIVE change in Phil's life. But, as everything in his life, Phil is managing to ruin it by over hyping and speaking non-stop about it.
The only reason for why he thinks he's winning is because the guys on the podcast stroked his ego like crazy. You can draw a direct comparison with his winning streaks in SF6. He gets high off his own ego getting inflated and he thinks he's an amazing player when he really isn't. Nothing's changed since the podcast. He doesn't have better content, no additional views, no additional income, and the "detractors" still aren't any worse off than they were before. He's not actually winning at anything.
And add to that, he doesn't seem to understand that the reason for why people hate him hasn't gone away. People don't like Phil for one reason, or at least the reason for why the hate started: he's always been an asshole. This hasn't changed.
He's on this ego high and all of a sudden all his troubles have melted away, and therefore he's "vindicated" and everyone else has magically been proven wrong somehow. It's just another proof of his egocentric delusions.

And unfortunately, he's right. He is winning this. He's made money. His cult has swelled in numbers and hasn't stopped.

@@MarquisLeary34 there are some detractors that are just bottom of the barrel and will try to embellish certain things that are just wrong. One of the other low tier detractors is James the lesser express lane. They do things to put out click bait videos like when someone thought dsp had a kid because they swore they could hear a baby crying in another room.
Things like that make them not really very good in the eyes of the people who like to watch the pigroach squirm when he is held to the truth. It isn't about dsp making money, that isn't a win. Convincing mentally handicapped people to give you their money is the same level as saying the Nigerian Prince scammers are winning because they successfully con lonely old people into giving them money. It's just sad and gross.
And even if you don't make as much money as dsp, you aren't losing. Just by not being dsp you win by default. Always try to remember that in the end of the day, if you have any money in a savings account, you have more money than dsp as his goes right to scopely as soon as he gets it.
The dude is a scammer who has no morals or ethics. Money doesn't mean anything if you have to sell your soul to get it, and dsp sold his soul a long time ago, if he even had one to begin with. If you start to think dsp is winning, go outside. Talk to friends, be with your actual family, and be a part of a community because dsp will never have any of those things. He will always be stuck in the prison of his own making trying so hard to find a new scam to get over on the easiest marks in the world.

@@AtlustheBookkeeper I told you by thinking of doing a detractor channel myself was the cure, as I did not want to have to watch more DSP! My mother died recently so with the money she left me I can buy a gaming pc, as that was the other problem the thinkpad I am currently using has the power of DSP arms and legs, it does not even have a graphics card, plus it is a Japanese model with a Japanese keyboard and a lot of things in Chinese. Hence no ability to do editing, sometimes moving the mouse across the screen can take a minute. Well that is my lame excuse. DLDR sorry. If I do anything it will be to watch and add up how much he is getting in superberries each week. Have you noticed how he never does a total on those? Oh and also a video on his beard, that one drives me crazy how the man clearly shaves with a knife and spoon. I did watch the setting up his new PC video, where he bad mouthed his dents for their reset the modem, and when they called him out after he finally did it.... I did nothing wrong I did everything correct, again! I am going off on one so I will leave it there, keep up the good fight.
