Corolation without causation. Rebirth is NOT selling less than Remake because “too many RPGs.” A lot of people playing those other RPGs may not have ever intended to play Rebirth and thus never will. Atlus really nailed it on the head in the video: Rebirth most likely isn’t selling well because it’s a Part 2 in a minimum Three Part Series (possibly four parts, no idea how the plan is going at Squeanix). Sequels often already don’t do as well as originals.

People talk about things alot on discords and among friends tho a thing he doesnt do cause he has no friends, least none we know about.

In case you didn’t know Dragon Dogma 2 doesn’t have or feature quest markers at all and have timed quest or quest failure. This will be quite the experience assuming he isn’t wasting the first stream making his character instead of you know downloading the demo and being ready since he picked this game to play.

What’s happening at this point in time with Phil is he is getting to the tipping point to where he doesn’t want to play games anymore. That’s basically what it boils down to. If you notice his trend from the past year he has been trying to do these oddball side gigs that can help bring him revenue in without him playing games anymore and that’s what he’s trying to break out in. When a very hyped game is about to come out and it flops for him, i think it mentally crushes his plans and this is what it’s led up to now. Look at him playing BG3, that’s his cash grab right now and he HATES playing it but yet it makes the most money, if I was him I would just soak that up and just keep trucking along. Corolation without causation. Rebirth is NOT selling less than Remake because “too many RPGs.” A lot of people playing those other RPGs may not have ever intended to play Rebirth and thus never will. Atlus really nailed it on the head in the video: Rebirth most likely isn’t selling well because it’s a Part 2 in a minimum Three Part Series (possibly four parts, no idea how the plan is going at Squeanix). Sequels often already don’t do as well as originals.

That hype Phil misses is anti-consumer. It still exists a little, but it's good that it's not like it was before. It makes people buy things because of peer pressure or because there's no viable alternative, rather than because they like that kind of thing. For example, the Sierra-style adventure game existed for ten years even though almost everyone hated them because there were so few other computer games on the market.
dsp really isnt watching many streamers.because other streamers actually beat games. he says people stopped talking about rebirth after 3 days but there are alot of playthroughs and streams going on still. People talk about things alot on discords and among friends tho a thing he doesnt do cause he has no friends, least none we know about.
So basically what I got from his rant is him complaining that he can't keep up with trends at all because he's so slow with not only playthroughs, but the fact that new stuff comes out all the time so people like to learn about what the new things are. He can't fathom just playing whatever has his interests at the time and not focusing on what's the new games coming out to play it day 1 because he just does it for money. Every choice he makes for his streams are the same ones that keep putting him in these positions and he doesn't get it.
In case you didn’t know Dragon Dogma 2 doesn’t have or feature quest markers at all and have timed quest or quest failure. This will be quite the experience assuming he isn’t wasting the first stream making his character instead of you know downloading the demo and being ready since he picked this game to play.

I never understand how he can just blatantly lie even when there is video evidence of his lies, and he just says I never said that
it's absolutely wild how his tone has a way of making you skeptical of literally anything he says. he always sounds like he's lying (which he often is), so when he talked about the battlefront collection being a "buggy piece of shit" for everyone, i was fully expecting no one else to be having trouble with the game

Imagine being in the let's play/streaming business for over a decade but constantly falling behind the changes in the industry and always suffering for it - while other streamers/let's players *who came up long after you did* are able to succeed and thrive by - dramatic gasp - *keeping up with the industry.*
But of course, none of it is Piggy's fault. He did nothing wrong, he did everything correct, he was blocking, there was lag, and the other streamers were using online patterns while spamming jabs, obviously.

He always acts like the situation he’s in is someone else’s fault. And it’s clear he absolutely hates RPGs, especially ones that require you to think and reason. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t even like video games, at least not anymore. It’s just so funny how he acts like he has no control of what he does or plays on his streams, and his sole motivation is money while pretending it isn’t and he has some sort of moral compass, which he does not. No passion or ambition for anything, so he’ll suffer through things he hates just so people will throw some pity bucks his way, while also blaming those same people of his own failures and short comings. What’s happening at this point in time with Phil is he is getting to the tipping point to where he doesn’t want to play games anymore. That’s basically what it boils down to. If you notice his trend from the past year he has been trying to do these oddball side gigs that can help bring him revenue in without him playing games anymore and that’s what he’s trying to break out in. When a very hyped game is about to come out and it flops for him, i think it mentally crushes his plans and this is what it’s led up to now. Look at him playing BG3, that’s his cash grab right now and he HATES playing it but yet it makes the most money, if I was him I would just soak that up and just keep trucking along. He’s been super passive on his tekken gameplay that I legit think he enjoys that game but there is no support at all so he was forced to drop it lmao. Everything is catching up with him and maybe he’ll realize it’s the streamer who’s terrible and not the games.
