2019 CLS450, just purchased the front license plate bracket from MB. There has to be an easier way to do this. Just going to take it to the dealership. Great job, tho!

I'm having this trouble. Gls 450, there is nowhere to put the front plate. In my state, front plates are still required. Thanks for this video!
Love the car you did a great job. The only thing that had me was when you used Elmer's Glue instead of lock-tight or something of that nature. I would have used that instead of regular glue or at least Gorilla glue or something. That way you wouldn't have to worry too much that the glue won't hold. I know it is something small, but you want to make sure that plate isn't going anywhere and that extra insurance will give you the peace of mind you are looking for. Overall great video and I did subscribe I like your content keep up the great work! Beautiful car I want one, but I'm looking at the Audi RS3.

Omg. What a hustle. Good luck with that . The E class is even worse bc. of the v- shaped bumper. You can purchase an adopter for the bracket. I would go to the dealership and see what they use on their cars and take a few photos0.

Do you have a video on replacing the lower right or left side part of the bumper? It would be where fog lights would go. On a 2016 S550

What is the link of where you got the mount from?
The mount or the license plate frame came with the car. If you want one, you can either get a universal one from Ebay or back at the dealership.
How did you get the bolt through the grill???? From the top or from the bottom of the car ???
From the bottom of the car, I inserted it

I’m not so sure you installed that right. Those 3 tabs you removed I’ve got a feeling should have been attachment points on the lower grill. When in doubt take to someone who knows what they’re doing. After all that’s a $80,000 plus car.
My license plate frame is already installed and I'm happy I did not have to drill into it. You can follow the video if you like and if you don't it's OK as well.

I have a 2010 s550 the previous owner drilled through the bumpers unfortunately
Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done unless you get another bumper which is expensive. I would use the existing holes to put your new license plate bracket
Elmers glue? 😂
Elmer's glue with fail eventually due to the weather change. You will lose you license plate eventually or realize only after you get a ticket for missing plates.
