  • This Video is about comparing the newest Mercedes Benz S Class for a price of $130,000 and a 2014 S Class fora price of $30,000. I compared both cars features, drove both cars and the result was very surprising. The 2014 S Class turned out to be a very nice luxury car. That proves that Mercedes Benz is very advance and they thought this through. The 2014 S Class still a very nice luxury car in 2022!!! with that being said, If you are looking for comfort older generations of the S Classes will serve you very will, and with a reasonable prices.
Thanks to SF Cadillac for making todays video possible and for lending me theses 2 amazing cars.

I never thought I would enjoy the CL500 so much and it is now firmly cemented in my affections. The CL500 is very undervalued at present, with luxurious interior, smooth V8, compliant ABC suspension and a very stylish 2 door pillar less coupe looks.

If you buy a top tier used car you either need to be a do-it-yourselfer or prepared to maintain a car that's wearing out and has more expensive "stuff"... In my opinion, the reason why people move from the w222 to the w223 is because they don't want to have this problem... So stepping down (buying 223) in terms of aesthetics, appearance and just a generally lesser car makes sense on the maintenance side

Yes, and yours was built with class and solidity the new one is just a piece of garbage. Sadly money and brains never go together and good taste has nothing to do with wealth so MB probably thinks they made an appealing car when at least to me they made the ugliest and tackiest piece of crap with I pads stuck all over. They got rid of switches that felt classy and responsive and changed for the sake of change. All they needed to do was tweak the W222 a little bit not redo the whole thing it was not broken. What MB should have done is focus on top-quality parts and improve reliability which is true high-end for people who appreciate quality. High-end to me is furniture made to last a century or more high-end cars should be solid like the W140 was. It has nothing to do with let's focus only on tech and bells and whistles lol. They went for the lowest common denominator appeal to idiots who like shiny things and big screens to amuse their small minds and garbage taste.

My S550 has been nearly bullet proof. One of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned (I have owned over 100 vehicles, and currently own 6). My assumption is that since repairs and maintenance can be expensive, the cars get dinged on reliability - which is not fair. Brake jobs and oil changes are expensive - but are actually super easy so you can easily do them yourself, or find a local mechanic. AIr suspension will need maintenance around every 100k miles, which is expensive but no different than any other air suspension system out there (you know what you are getting into with any vehicle with air suspension - hydraulic syspensions are evern more expensive). Awesome car.

This review really made me laugh. It would be much better without this toddler-esque commentary.

I bought a used s class for 8k. Drove it for 10+ years. Put about 5k in maintenance. Someone crashed into me and insurance paid me 8k.
Ironically this has been the cheapest car I've ever owned lol.

You completely ruined this video with the black interior car.

The new interior design is a disjointed mess. At least around the driver´s seat. Just how MB managed to f....k the dashboard up soooo much is beyond me. BTW: The new BMW´s interior design is the same. Just awful.
