Can you guys do a review of Fujinon 7x50 FMTR and FMTRC Series? Also on Stabilized Binoculars like Fraser, Fujinon, Kite and Canon? These are very popular for sailing and especially daytime fishermen looking for birds and ocean surface activity. The Fujinons are very popular.

Close focus problem... not a problem. If something is only 10-20 meters away you really don't need the binoculars... hahaha. The speed that poro can be used, not having to focus every time you view, is a huge advantage.

sometimes u need to observe minor things...Like during Bird Watching , sometimes u need to observe bird eyes and its some parts very closely so u need minimum focus...

Birdwatchers or butterfly watchers do need close focus, but IF will work fine for the rest of us.
I can see Jupiter moons with my Steiners and cannot see well a parrot eating a mango in a tree across the street from my apartment. Or a butterfly in my balcony. For those missions a Center Focus 8x42 would be a finer choice. I used Bausch and Lomb 10x28s for that missions since they were the first binos with close focus in mind. About 2 to 3 meters. Looking into a Nikon 8x42 or 10x42 for that mission right now.

@@saxmusicmail Yet I agree that IF if better for marine, military and astronomy, far more better.

I find the rangefinding scale useless because it requires you to know the height of an object first. And the scale is just irritating being in the middle of the lens. The compass is nice, though. I have 7x35 and a 10x50, both with the range scale. The size is not very different, so the smaller one is no advantage. Would love to have a 10x50 without range.

Are features like compass or range finder available for both models?

Compass is available for both models, Range Finder for now only for the 7x50, but we have a 8x30 and 10x30 with Range Finder in our hunting binoculars.
