WOW! Other than a clip of the Miami race from the same year that has long since been deleted, this is the oldest CART ARS/Indy Lights race to exist on YT! Here's to hoping you have more!

*_Noki's dad Nick Fornoro Sr was the starter for KART and our starter throughout the 80s in north east midgets. Noki past his rookie test at Indy I believe that year and we were hoping the ARS series would springboard his career into the Indy KART series. Unfortunately Noki never get the chance and a some years later His career was diminished due to a head injury during a USAC Sprint car show !!!_*

During the first several years as a race fan (mid-late '80's), I watched Drew Fornoro dominate NEMA races on short tracks in New England. I believe he drove a white car with #80 in red. I'm uncertain his relationship to those in the Fornoro clan you mention. Noki, I believe, ran ISMA races into the 2000's - he drove a light blue 32 with a wonderful sponsor, possibly breast cancer, alzheimer's awareness, or some other socially conscious organization helping people in need - until that series merged declined in car counts, tracks visited, overall influence, and merged with another organization.
Thanks for the history/background of the Fornoro family. I had no idea of its connection with Indianapolis.
