It's NOT funeral music.... it's played on an old reed pump organ... these were home instruments as well as church instruments... it's what was heard back in the day when this mansion was built... they ad a little more orchestration as the video goes along... I found it rather effective... BUT, then again I have a degree in music and know music history rather well...
An exquisite example of this beautiful architectural style and interior aesthetic. People must surely have loved living here for generations to have preserved it so well. Thanks to them, we can fill our eyes with its elegance. And thanks, Ring Real Estate Team for showing us.
The date of the house in the slate tiles of the roof!. Cool!. Nice restoration job,!!. Looks brand new!. Even tho everyone has their own taste, if I was personally decorating it, I'd change the walls. But that's cosmetic stuff. I just LOVE the restoration job!!. Fantastic!. And the brickwork outside, lovely,,!. 2 round patios with walkways between. So attractive!!. Just wish I could afford it,!!. Gorgeous!.
I lived near Pella and always wondered what the inside of this home looked like. All the homes in this small Dutch community are neat and tidy with manicured lawns.
Wish I could have raised my family in a house this size. It would have been very accommodating to have been able to afford something like this. Beautiful structure. Well preserved and well presented.
Wow! What an amazing gorgeous breathtaking estate❤️ the floors I absolutely love! & walls to the furniture, just wow! That someone keep it all pretty much original! Must stay empty in order to keep it looking this amazing.
No information on if it's on market? No information regarding the acreage, other building's, house if it has a basement? How old is this house? How is this heated season's yearly. No pictures of kitchen? Need more information if you're interested in saling. Have a good day....
The wall to wall doesn't belong, wonder what's under it, hardwood and throw rugs would work. Stairwell was amazing as was the exterior trim and paint. Beautiful place.
The video is technically well done but what is the purpose? Is the house for sale or is this just some example of the proper restoration of a house on the N.R.H.P? These houses were grandiose but highly impractical even when new. The roof structure would give nothing but trouble over time. It is one of those homes that would be interesting to see if you ever had a chance just to show how even in 1871 there were people with way too much money on their hands - no 80% home loans then.
Gorgeous house but the first couple of minutes of music sound like a dog is sitting on an organ's keyboard and the note changes every time he shifts his belly to get more comfortable. The rest of it sounds like a dirge at a funeral in Siberia. This house calls for something peppier, like Beethoven's "6 Ländler."
I find the two-tone floor boards really distracting and at times really out of place, ( and continuing on the lower part of the wall?????). The outside is really beautiful, the interiors would look very nice with better furniture and good decoration, I would take those floors out and replaced them with nice wood floors with the right period design and details.

The funeral music does not do the house justice.

Beautiful house.
Indeed
The craftsmanship in this house is amazing. I have never seen floors like this before. Stunning. Everything in this house shows exquisite detail.

House is 1871. It is on the shingles out front. Known locally as one of the "spite houses". Other is gone.
Italianate architecture is so gorgeous!
The music was a problem at first, but then I hummed along and it got much better.
That dirge music makes me feel like requesting last rites from my priest.
@@timothymathewson8094 Ha ha!
I had to turn off the music. It hurts. Beautiful house though.
What is with the weird music? House is beautiful
I can't take the music much longer please.
Yes beautiful inside and out
Someone took good care of her.
How much?
I bet it smells like Murphys wood soap and oil in there . 😊
The wall to wall doesn't belong, wonder what's under it, hardwood and throw rugs would work. Stairwell was amazing as was the exterior trim and paint. Beautiful place.
The music is HORRIBLE! Had to mute.
Kitchen ?
Love the exterior.
Is it still for sale
I had to mute the sound in order to watch this.
Looks like a tear-down to me.
I felt all the dead people that ever lived in that house crying out to stop that sad funeral music.
Very pretty Victorian era house ...

At the beginning I thought I heard coffins opening. I thought I would hear next dead people yelling to turn it off.
It needs more period appropriate furnishings.
Love the music, looked up the history of the home. I couldnt believe it was built in 1871. That home looks like it was built a couple of yrs ago.
I hate the wallpaper and not a big fan of the stripe floor AND wainscoting- one or the other, not both. Otherwise, a beautiful house.
I agree. Floor is not for me and neither the wall paper

why
?
So where's ia
So it has 1871 written in the shingles.
They should turn this into a b&b
I'm a musician. I like the music. I love the house.
Great music, macabre house.
Actually , great house, awful music.
Love the floor!!
I really didn't like the striped flooring at all. Amazing how people can have such opposite views. It's what keeps life interesting 😉
Pas vu le grenier, pas de cuisine et pas de cave bizarre. Est ce que c'est un musée ?

They should tear it down and put a McDonald's there or maybe a Starbucks.
Nah do it right and go titty 🍺 bar
U show to much of the outside I want to see the kitchen
The music 🤢🤢🤢🤢
The music has to go.
How much ? To buy
Decor is a bit plain, they could have added the odd floral motif here and there.....
