I would replicate this home with limestone for the walls with round arch doorways, change the kitchen colors, and the colors at the top, and it’ll heaven to muh eyes! 😍 Still a very breathtaking house!!
Yes, they are destroying the historic appeal of the Victorian home entirely! The Modern elements really turned me off. Those modern elements belong in bigger modern homes or any other type of modern home developed after the 90s. Tacky! Other than that, everything else looks good.
I think the place is beautiful, but there is no way I would buy it. The home is still old, it is going to be a money pit for heating and cooling. The old look appeal will wear off in a very short time. Have fun who ever buys it.

The modern elements, especially the light fixtures upstairs, look tacky in a Victorian home.
Those Sputnik lighting fixtures are atrocious in a Victorian house! And the subway tiles and that barn door are really poorly chosen fixtures.
