They were certainly bothersome during sunset though once the sun went over the hill and the wind picked up, we were just fine. We'll worth the battle for staying at a spot like this!
My first trip to Alaska was in 1999 when I retired. We left Colorado and drove for over 2 months through BC, Yukon Territory and Alaska and back. Awesome trip! Since then I have returned 4 times seeing even more. I have been very fortunate that I have been able to see the entire mountain of Denali all 5 trips. Absolutely magnificent as is all of Alaska! Thanks for this reminder of how much I enjoyed my own visits. I highly recommend going to everyone!
That's so awesome to hear, right on! Very lucky to have witnessed Denali in all those trips. The mountain and northern lights eluded us on this one but all the more reason to go back. Cheers to getting out there and making lifetime worth of memories!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Your videos are always beautifully done, but somehow you made one that’s even more amazing! Must be such a wonderful experience for you and your Mom!
Thank you for the support! Alaska made the job easy in terms of filming as all the landscapes were simply amazing. Can't wait to get back up there one day!
OMG! Yes! I love watching your content. So very cool. Such a great escape from the daily grind. Very relaxing, very interesting, and very inspiring. You’re living the dream man. I love it. Keep doing what you do.
Absolutely amazing as always! You guys have really had an epic season! Those bear sightings are lifetime memories for sure!! Thank you for sharing your journey with us! Please don’t ever stop❤
Sincerely appreciate the kind words, thank you! We certainly got lucky with the wildlife sightings, though what really made it was witnessing it all during the peak of fall. Those colors are incredible! Much more to come, stay tuned!
Great Job! You do such an amazing job telling the history of places. That is one of things that makes your channel stand out. Thank you for taking us along!
Appreciate the support as always, thank you! Alaska is rich with history and we only scratched the surface, definitely looking forward to getting back there one day.
Did a motorcycle trip in Alaska back in 2017. Hatchers Pass was not to be missed. Thanks for another great episode. Really enjoy your channel. Greetings from Florida!
Thank you so much!! I used a mix of help from Alaska Overlander, following some of the path from Lifestyle Overland (my inspiration to witness Alaska), and putting it all on Gaia GPS with a planned day by day itinerary. Definitely was a lot to piece together but you'll appreciate having an agenda as there is so much to see in Alaska! haha. Alaska Overlander has suggestions on routes and makes it very easy to help plan your trip. Definitely give Craig and Brook (the owners) a call as they'll be more than happy to help assist! www.alaskaoverlander.com/routes
Who built the road ? I heard it was said to not be possible by the Corpes of Engineers but the Hatchers took it on themselves and had no problem building it .
very good
Amazing content, deserve ton more views
Appreciate that! Hopefully one day we continue to grow our audience base but happy with where the channel has come so far! 😊

Too bad the mosquitos are a nuisance, but the view is beautiful! Thanks, blessings!

This series is amazing, and makes me want to go back to Alaska! How did you plan your trip/route? Did Alaska Overland provide it for you?

Most folks can go a lifetime in the woods and never see a wolverine, what a treat.
Our bus driver had been working in Denali for over 20 years and mentioned he only saw a wolverine 5 times. We were very fortunate on that trip!
super beautiful 💘💘
Thank you very much!
Where did you get the soundtrack for this video? Beautiful violin work.
Musicbed is my go-to for all things soundtrack related: www.musicbed.com
Any chance you have grid coordinates for the campsites you stayed at?
I do not publicly share coordinates though if you head into Petersville I'm sure you'll find it. Happy adventuring! 😊
