I was about ready to give up on stamping because I could not get designs to pick up. I would have never thought pressing too hard was the issue. A light touch as suggested really made all the difference in the world. So happy and excited. Thank you SO much.
Best stamping tutorial ever! Thank you so much for addressing so many issues and explaining so accurately and thoroughly why so many people have trouble stamping. I seriously thought I was NEVER going to be able to stamp until I saw this video!
I'm literally just beginning when it comes to nail art as a hobby. I was really excited about stamping, but couldn't get it to work even after reading and watching a few tutorials. I was concerned it was the kit I purchased, but after applying your advice to my technique it worked the first try! Great Advice! Thank You!
I thought for sure this video would not address what I was doing wrong but I was wrong about that!!! Thank you so much! The very first time I imitated how fast and lightly you transfer the image to the stamp I was successful. And to think I almost threw that lovely clear jelly stamper in the trash! I was certain the stamper was defective! This is the very best stamping tutorial on RUclips! ❤️
After watching so many stamping tutorials I could never figure out what I was doing wrong-I was pressing the stamper to hard! Thank you so much! I’m so happy now 😍
omg thank you so much!!!! nobody tells you the most important step, when pulling the card you are pushing the polish into the image. I thought I was gonna have to spend more money on stamping polish....nope my regular polish works perfect!!! iv watched hours of these videos and got nothing on my stamper. I got the most out of your video!!! thanks a bunch!
Thank you so, soo, soooo much for teaching me how to stamp, via your video. Now I can stamp like a beginner should be able to stamp 😂 I pushed the stamper to hard on the plate. That is why I didn't get a full image on my stamper 😮 Never once, thought that to much pressure was a bad action. I really thought: You must press hard, because you want the polish to transfer from the print in the plate, to the stamper. So you must push your stamper into the printed parts, to be able to pick up some polish. I have stamped all 10 nails today, without even 1 mistake, woohoo!!! And that, just because I have watched your video. The times I tried to stamp... always ended up in: Me getting fed up, highly angry and giving up after having had a fit of rage (yesterday my rage ended up in: me throwing my stamper across the living room 😮 😭). So I'm super happy, that I have found your video and could learn how to stamp 👍 Thank you!!! 😘
Same here! I was so frustrated and disappointed I couldn’t get it to work before. Using a light touch made all the difference. I did my nails today and they look great and the design is clear and crisp. So glad I didn’t actually throw everything away like I wanted to.
This product is not for the beginer, it's not easy to use guys. This what i considered shitty. Look easy in the video, but when you try it, pain in the ass.
I tried my first nail stamping attempt last night and it was a disaster. After watching your tutorial, I tried again using your tips and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much.
I literally just watched this video and not even 5 mins later I tried just how you did and it came out AMAZING. Thank you SO much!! Such a game changer now that i can do it right. :)
I've watched 2 other videos before this and couldn't get anything on my stamper. The third time is a charm! I got it right after watching how you do it. Im amazed.
This was so nicely, accurately and concisely explained! 💯 If i had known these tips *YEAAAAAARRRRRRRRSSS* ago i might not have gotten so frustrated with it and given up. I might try it again and see how it goes for me. 😊 thank you so much.💚
I just want to say thank you so much for this video...I was so frustrated with stamping and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong and your video helped me so much. thank you thank you thank you....u saved me from throwing my plates and stamps away. lol
Thank you SO much for making this video! I've been having such a terrible time trying to pick up designs and the tips you gave here really sorted out all the issues I was having!!
For some reason I assumed I needed to press the stamp on the plate for a while to get it to pick up the design, and when it didn't I didn't understand what I did wrong. I also didn't know that I didn't need to use that much nail polish on the stamps... here I am covering the whole design and using up my polish that much faster. This is such a helpful video, I can't wait to try out stamping again. Thank you so much!!
Thank you so very much for this video!!!!! I thought all my plates or polish was defective some how!!! I thought I would never EVER be able to get this down until now....thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was extremely helpful! Total newbie and couldn't get polish to pick up at all, but these tips and especially light touch have finally led to success!!! Not all my [regular lacquer] polishes work, only a few very dense/saturated Essie colours have worked so far.
Thank you so much for this, I have a small kit of stampers that I've never been able to figure out so I never used it again. But now I will. Thank you again 💜💜
Oh my God.... It was all the same mistakes what i did.... Nd ur tricks were very much helpful.... I really loved itt.... Nf m very thankful to u.... Thank u so much....😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Thank you! I've been making these mistakes, and other stamping plate troubleshooting videos have not covered these errors. I'm grateful for this video.
Thanks for the tips , iv just placed a big £25 order on eBay for plates, stampers , polish , scrapers cases, everything , can't wait to get stuck in , great video x
Before I saw this video I got 4 stamper 6 stamping plate 8 stamping nail polishes .. each time I failed ... but this video saved my life ... I was about to give my 3 year daughter to play 🤪
I have a doubt. When I want to stamp a design that does not cover the entire nail, but when I wrap it with the seal some part of another design is passed, how do I remove it from the seal before passing it to the nail? Thanks for your channel, it's great.
Thank you very much for this ultimate and quick review of the common mistakes! I just found out that I made several of them at once (too severe pressure, not too fast work, not filling the plate enough with the polish.) I hope I will improve
Thank you Maria for the feedback! With some practice you will improve for sure😉 I recommend you our webpage courses.nailstamping.com/ if you would like to learn new techniques and get some inspiration😍
I just recently started stamping and I was struggling to either pick the stamp up or else it would only pick up a small bit. I thought it was the stampers fault, but I guess I just need more practice. This tutorial was very helpful 😊
Honestly the best video for this. I feel ashamed bc I literally have been trying to do this for over 8 years and I see this video and get it like that 🤦🏻♀️
Hi, Yes, you can use regular nail polish, as well. However, let us suggest you stamping nail polish, because its pigmentation is higher than regular nail polish.
Great video! i bought my 1st ever set of stamper, plate and scraper from ebay.and im glad i found this video.Do u have a website where i can purchase ur products?
This is really awesome and well explained but....where can I find such stamper?? Thank you for reading and looking forward to your answer Ive got nothing to do since corona :')
Hello, please have a look at our webshop, you can find stampers as well at moyrastamping.com/?s=stamper&post_type=product. Take care and have a nice time with nailstamping🥰
Hi, There aren't diffences in usage of scraping cards. But let me notice, certain shape card is softer or harder than the other. Which one do you prefer? It depends only you.
Kendal Borison The brand Moyra is a hungarian brand actualy, but it can be found on many places abroad also. If you cant find it in stores around you, you may in online shops. Im not sure, but they may have an online shop for the brand too
I got interested in nail art during the lockdown but pretty soon realised that free hand is not my thing. So stamping seemed like a next best thing. I've been doing some research on it...and by that I mean watching RUclips videos. And in each and every video, I watched them smear the whole or half of the design with polish...and felt like that seems such a waste. You are the only one I saw using a small amount of polish and your designs came out perfectly. So my question is, what amount is appropriate, and does it depend on the design or the plate on how much polish we should use. Sorry if this sounds dumb
Hello, thank you for your comment, your question is not dumb at all, don't worry!🙂 There is no need for much nail polish at stamping. Just one brush stroke on the pattern, scrape it once and pick it up to the stamper. In case of thin line patterns we recommend usig foil stamping polish, because it dries more slowly than regular stamping polish, it will be easier to stamp with that one. Let us know if you have further questions!❤️

I agree
I agree too!

One more! Couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why it did't stick to the stamper! Perfect :D
I'm literally just beginning when it comes to nail art as a hobby. I was really excited about stamping, but couldn't get it to work even after reading and watching a few tutorials. Thanks a lot for these tips, is it harder or easier to use a non transparent scraping card?
Hi,
There aren't diffences in usage of scraping cards. But let me notice, certain shape card is softer or harder than the other. Which one do you prefer? It depends only you.
I guess a soft and flexible one.
