Literally me right now
3 to 5 am is said to be the most productive hours of the day. I mean like its said to be the hours when the universe is very giving and like whatever you do during that time you'll get more of. so you study and it'll be more effective. you work and you'll be more successful, you meditate and you'll get better at it etc etc.
honestly to me though that time is perfect anyways because everyone is sleeping so it's the best time for me to study and stuff
@@shray542 I also watched this at 3am during an all nighter for school- can't say I recommend all nighters though but I did feel very productive during 3-6. If you do this often, do you wake up to work at 3-5 or stay up to work during 3-5?

You know I used to be a part of NCC, they provide basic military training for students in schools and colleges and during my stay in the transit camp I had wake up in like 3 or 4am in the morning for our daily jog 😂 one of the most challenging task but yeah it was cool knowing that I get a chance see how things work there. It used to be so foggy we could barely tell the route we were supposed to be going in 😂 good days...

Honestly at this point I can’t do routines any more I just make a list of all the nice things I can do/like to do when I wake up and choose on the day !! It makes it a lot more interesting and less repetitive

This is the morning routine that works for me:
1- Stretching
2- Affirmations: Why are you happy? Why today will be a good day?
3- Brush my teeth, wash my face
4- Put sunscreen
5- Drink 500 ml of water
6- Eat breakfast
7- 15 min of language study
8- See my to-do list (that I made last last night)
9- Work/Study
It's a pretty simple routine but it helps me to go direct to work and be more productive

This is my 5am morning routine that I’ve made over the years. I’ve taken elements from a lot of other people’s morning routines:
1. Make bed
2. Qigong 15 minute session
3. Get dressed
4. Do hair, wash face, brush teeth
5. Put on deodorant and sunscreen
6. Make breakfast and have it with a glass of water and green tea
7. Journal and write to-do, to-be and to-feel list
8. Do a sudoku puzzle
9. Do language study before school
10. Leave for school at 7am

Hey, about the cold shower: WIm Hof mentions that you start exposing your extremities to the cold water and gradually moving the water up to your amrs (or an arm) and then your should, back and so forth instead of forcing and pushing. It works for me and I feel quite comfortable taking cold showers now (even though I feel an itsy pitsy reluctance most of the times before I go into the water).

I obsessively want to be the person that wakes up at 4 am and exercises, eats breakfast, and makes a gratitude list all before getting ready for work. Instead I can only will myself to get up at the latest possible moment to get any extra second of sleep and still be on time for work. I’m not getting up unless it means I’ll get fired 😂🙄
Dude, same here. Most I do is a quick five minute wake up meditation, throw some clothes on, make sure my hair and teeth are brushed, and eat like a banana or some frozen waffles before I'm out the door. I wouldn't have time to do most of these before getting to work unless I woke up at 4, and no way in hell is that happening.

Your body will react logically to how you treat it. Fueling your body sufficiently via quality food and quality sleep is a must if you want to be "productive".
I find it interesting that people expect their body to be happy being awake at 5 am when they sleep at 1 am.
@@asthenamesuggests9513 I completely agree. It would be a piece of cake to wake up at that time if you eat nourishing foods early and sleep early. I think humans are strange in the way that we know what’s best for ourselves and know what would make us feel good e.g. reading a book instead of aimlessly scrolling on our phones, eating an apple instead of a candy bar, sleeping early instead of staying up late to binge watch, going on a walk for fresh air instead of staying sedentary....yet we most often never choose the thing that’s better for us. I struggle with this everyday. I wish making the right choice would be so simple and easy but in the most nonsensical way, it usually never is
I used to want this so so much and it took some work but I achieved it - now I meditate, workout or study, get ready and have breakfast all before school.
I am not an expert and I have failed/fallen off the wagon more times than I care to share, but my only advice would really be to build habits via consistency NOT extremity. For example start small - begin waking up (and going to bed) maybe 10-20 minutes earlier each week..? Something along those lines should slowly guide your body instead of rushing into something and not taking the time to build the habit as it will almost definitely lead up to burnout as it is unsustainable and your body is simply just not used to it!
Also, remember to focus on the consistency because the effort/natural habits will come afterwards as a side benefit - and remember that 5 minutes of meditation, for example, is better than none at all - even doing 1 minute of controlled breathing will keep you consistent to a fair enough extent.
Also, it helps to be positive and kind to yourself so don't get angry if you don't pick it up straight away and try to look for the things you enjoy by doing this early morning routine - for me, it starts the day so well as I feel everything is a fresh start so I can't really do anything wrong and I also adore the feeling of being up before anyone else as it is very peaceful and i can listen to the birds !
Not me planning to wake up at 5 am tomorrow, wish me luck.

plzzzz a "run 2 miles every day for a week" challenge!!! I tried and it's a life-changer. Definitely a little hard to get started but with lots of stretching and conditioning you'll feel so accomplished and energetic by the end of the week! (pls do this when the weather is warmer though :D)

I feel the best morning routine is waking up with the sun, without other inputs to wake you up. Following natural light, especially in winter, when the body need to recharge, is so beneficial. Of course if you live up North where the sun comes out late and last a few ours during the day is better to have an alternative system. I really like to use the sunrise alarm when I have to wake up before sunrise :)
I feel like waking up so early feels way more natural when its warm and the sun is out early. During summer i can easily wake up at 7 or 6.30. during winter times i struggle waking up at 8
I feel the same way. Especially as someone who lives in an area with seasons, I feel much less able to do many things during winter. I’m a runner and I go from running six times a week to two if I’m lucky in winter, even inside workouts are harder to do. Our brains and bodies just seem to be wired for hunkering when it’s cold and dark.

Ive been waking up at 7 am every day and first wash my face, second get coffee, and third read three books (one is a history book, one is a devotional, and one is a book on how to be successful) and its really given me love for the mornings! But man 5 am is a bit early....!

To wake up earlier, even when you don't need to, to support your loved one in a process that is challenging for them is true love
my routine now is something like this:
1. make bed
2. wash face, brush teeth
3. stretch or do some yoga
4. get dressed and do my hair
5. pack my things for school
6.eat breakfast
i often struggle with waking up early and i used to get really mad at myself for not being able to do my full routine anymore. I kind of let go of this anger - it still upsets me but i can get over it. i stil want to build another morning routine that will hopefully help me to get out of bed earlier.
1. put my alarm somewhere i cannot just put it out. this really helps to get yourself moving right after you woke up.
2. drink about 500ml of water. this always helped me be more productive, i felt beter and it is just really good for you.
3. wash face and brush teeth - this is sthe same spet as in my current routine but i really like so why not keeping it
4. put on relaxing music and stretch or do an intuitive yoga flow.
5. mediate a bit
6. journal - gratitude list, affirmations and to be or feel lists (thank you Leah for this inspiration) also i always do a to do list as it keeps my mind organized
7. get ready ( take a coldshower)
8. pack things for school
9. eat breakfast
this routine is quite long actually but imma try :)
I don't think it takes getting up at 5am to really be successful or feel like you've been productive in the day. The media likes to bombard us with this idea but to me it only results in me being less productive as I'm so tired and lethargic. Anything from 6am onwards is golden for me so enjoy that extra hour in bed to reap the rewards😃
when i was in elementary school i used to go to a school in the other part of the town so the bus used to pick me up at 5am now i cant bare waking up before 7

How to wake up early consistently. Get a dog that needs to go out at 6 sharp every morning. Or else he'll threaten to poop on the floor. Now you have the perfect morning routine.
One of the thing that I really like doing every morning is to go and said good morning to my cat and cuddling with him 🥰 it's the first thing that I do and it's make me really happy 💜💜

What helps personally is make myself some tea while looking outside. That’s the first thing I do. I usually wake up at 6am, and watching the world wake up slowly is really relaxing. I also make at the same time my breakfast and lunch (if I feel like it). Then I try to read a little bit, but if I’m not feeling it I just watch a RUclips video. And finally I get ready and I’m out of the house by 7am !
This is for my early days though, I don’t always have to go to school this early (It takes me 40/50min to get there). But it makes those days more enjoyable because it really is peaceful and quiet 🥰
I honestly really liked the first routine. It had a lot of habits I'm trying to build and I lowkey like cold showers, they are so invigorating!

i loved this video! it made me remember that i used to get up at 5 am every day for a year during my final year of high school - originally because i felt like i had so much work to do, but as i settled into a routine it was actually quite peaceful and grounding to have those few hours in the morning where it feels like you're the only one who's awake. that being said it is just as easy to let go of the habit again lol, i should try it again
